Dr. Florence Dafe and co-author Dr. Radha Upadhyaya join us to discuss their research, focused on the manufacturing sector in Kenya, and the effect of patient capital investment on the levelling-up to 'decent' work at the firm level.
Dr. Florence Dafe is a political economist at TU Munich whose work focuses on the political economy of finance in developing countries.
Dr. Radha Upadhyaya is a Research Fellow at the University of Nairobi. Her focus area is development economics and has a unique combination of research, teaching, public policy and private sector experience.
