UPDATE: Unfortunately, someone stole the birdhouse. I knew that was a possibility before I placed it out there, but it’s still a bummer. Thank you to everyone who found it and left it for others to enjoy. I loved seeing all your pictures!
Some Humans are the reason why we can't have nice things 🥺 Anyways, i absolutely love this idea and am glad that, at least some, people had the Chance of enjoying it as intended🫶
That sucks. I was planning on going to go see some of your work. However that is alright. I will be going to the coffee shop to check out your millennium however. Thank you for putting stuff out! I love it!
My son and I stumbled across your video. We live less than 5 minutes from your hiding place. Off we went for an awesome walk and adventure!! Mafe for a very enjoyable Sunday morning.
There was a segment on CBS Sunday Morning about a woman who built small gnome houses and hid them in their local park. They were wonderful to look at and the community enjoyed searching them out for the inspirational messages each one held. The city, being an uptight, stick up their butt type city deemed them a nuisance and removed them. Sigh.... I do love this.
Ahhhh…I know where this is! I grew up near here!!! But I’m in Thailand right now and desperately hope it’s still there when we get back!! What an awesome build and fun idea! Thanks Boylei, and good luck hunting everyone!!!
As you walked all I can think about is "It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to." This build is really close to my heart and has inspired me to get off my duff and do my own favorite scene. Wish me luck.
After some detective work I was able to find it. I live about an hour from there so I will try to go there sometime. I enjoyed the LOTR content and the public engagement content. I would love to see some more in the future. Cheers!
Went and looked at this birdhouse with my dad today we instantly recognized the trails you were walking on my brother and i spent most of our summers riding along this creek 15-20 years ago

A Boylei Hobby video ending with a segment similar to the adventure UA-cam creators I like to watch was also a nice Easter egg for me lol. Gollum looks awesome, good job once again!

I found it! Within about a hundred feet on google maps, that is :P I wish I still lived there so I could go adventure for it myself! Happy hunting to everyone!
Watching you make this, awesome. Hiding it out there for others to find and enjoy, awesome. Feel you should make it a Geocache to share with a wider audience. Many hiders would love to see this creative diorama, and be jealous of it.
That not only came out awesome, but it was a very cool idea to be able to share it with everyone. I hope that they all respect your wishes and and leave it for everyone to enjoy. 👍👍👍
Just want to compliment the composition of each of the shots of Boylei wandering about, also really appreciate the way they nicely transition into each other how well put together are. Other than that, awesome build as always!
This was fantastic! The effect that the birdhouse's natural lighting lends to the diorama within is perfect! I hope this stays intact where you placed it. Also, yes, that is a mink! We live on a river and see them all the time. Had one laying dead on our property along the river bank just a couple weeks ago, in fact. I'm not sure what happened to the little guy. He wasn't chewed up or bloody or anything like that, so who knows? Awesome piece, my friend! God bless!
Truly a Labor of Love, Boylei! Thanks for making this, and leaving it as a treat for passersby to get a pleasant surprise, and admire as they hike! May your diorama last long in its outdoor display place, and bring amazement to many hikers over the coming decades! And may you get plenty of selfies in reply! I hope you decide to make additional, outdoor surprise displays. "Fairy Houses" are popular projects along these lines. And who knows? Maybe a Wild Imaginary West themed scene, or two, as well . . . ? Thanks for sharing this! I hope you have a Healthy and Happy Easter! My Like is in the 1.1Ks.

Seeing a Boylei out in the wild instead of just hands was pretty surreal 😅
Even a wild Boylei has to go on a 'mission, quest thing' every so often.
IF that was the real Boylei.
Pretty cool, right?

I'm glad you blocked the hole, I can just see some poor bird wanting to make a nest in that.
Why worry about the bird, its gollum that would get his cave turned into a toilet.
@@lilnoir4213 Gollum would eat them.
I keep imagining a bird trying to get in and wondering “why the hell is this door blocked? Isn’t this a house for birds??”
He stands on the post, day after day, chirping & singing in different cadences thinking it's an "open says a me" situation!
He blocked it? I didn't notice, even on repeated viewing. If so, good, so Gollum won't be ripped apart by the first angry homesteader.
