I played this when I was entering the casino in Atlantic City from which the film was set during the song's play. This score definitely a fit for the land of slot machines.

Let's not forget to give all the credit to David Holmes. He was the man behind the music in all 3 Ocean's movies. The music he created for these movies is GENIUS
I was only 11 years old (that's right jajaja...) when I saw this movie for the first time. It seemed in my mind a swing and rhythm I couldn't name. This track forever changed my taste in music. Paved access to Herbie Hancock, Thellonius Monks, Coltrane, Q-Tip and a universe of ultra-talented siblings. Some trails open infinite doors in our minds.
If you want to be really specific: Downtempo. This genre was very popular in the early 2000's. Bands: Thievery Corporation, Saint Germain... Look for albums like Hotel Costes.
This os such a great setup for the movie. You got the drum beat clicking like a second hand on a watch, very precise. But then you got the jazzy part, showing you they're laid back when they have to improvise. And music is basically about timing & tone.
Holy shit, this movie is literally my favorite movie ever. Never have i seen a movie with such a great plan to rob a casino AS WELL AS such great actors! (George Clooney is so HOT!)
this exact hit would technically classify as soundtrack/score. the original hit this was mixed off of "rodney yates" would be either techno, funky beats, club/dance, or electronica.
I find it interesting how the drum kinda is like a second hand clicking, and how they work with such precision, but it's also jazzy, like how they are criminals, but they're laid back, and improvise when they need to.
i feel like putting on a suit and robbing the local liquor store in the most elegant, elaborate and convoluted way possible. i need someone to knock out the power grid while i walk in and attach myself to the roof so that i can lower myself to the register. from there i will parachute to the hideout while someone distracts the police by stealing the launch codes
Best quotes "I'm gonna get out and drop you like 3rd period French." "I don't have time to fool around with you two circus animals." "You know what your problem is?" "I only have one?"
Oceans Eleven is magnificent and the other two live off this film even when they dont reach the first one heights damn they rule with character and fun.
@Monkey8954 i know what you're referring to. the song is called museum camera. there is another one that sounds similar which is called: casino implosion
@TheMarkc i don't know if it will get more views but i do know the harder music it is to find, the more it will get! i upload the songs from the scores cuz they're harder to find

I live in Vegas and every time I go into the Bellagio I play this song with my headphones and go up the escalators and walk like a boss!
I got the van parked outside the service bay. Let me know when you're ready to start Phase 1.

I concur, this was way to unique and I absolutely loved it
and respect to the guitar-bass guys
Don't forget work of the the great arranger/conductor Nelson Riddle - especially on the opening sequence..

Alright, we’ll get one more
This music falls under the genre of "Lounge"
Ah OK
Good man. These films went hand in hand with my discovery and now love of Lounge and Downtempo.
Ocean's 11 is a timeless piece. I can watch it over and over and it never gets annoying. Especially the music. ;)
"Now there's eleven of us, each with an equal share. You do the math.
"
"And remember, Tess does not split eleven ways"
That bass riff is just brilliant. I love it. I just love it :D
Listen "Red right hand"
Always amazes me how composers can come up with such great theme music...
For people looking for the name of the song, it's called Rodney Yates on David Holme's album called lets get killed
The music that plays when you think of an ingenious idea.
As soon as I heard this music I thought "Yeah. This is gonna be a damn good movie."
Best casino movie
best casino trilogy.
Best heist movie, period.
not even close to "casino"
Best casino movie is "Casino". Kinda obvious, I know.
Desert island movie right here, Casino is a great film and all, but I have to be in the right mood to watch it, this I can watch any time.
Great movie, and the soundtrack is simply brilliant!
Theme from "The cookie jar caper""😈😈😈😈
I love this movie
This song plays in my head every-time I do anything remotely sneaky
David Holmes is underrated
Man you can't watch these movies without having to watch all the sequels they're so good
The moment the bass starts, That camera long shot trucking in to Vegas floating over the waters...insanely beautiful.
Anil Srivastha that's actually Atlantic City
Reminds me of old gran turismo 2 game from ps1 or then another game called evil genius on pc
Rishi Eastwood yes! But the opening is in Atlantic City in jersey. Vegas doesn’t sit on a body of water - it’s in the desert

Indeed, one of my favorites is Masseratti 2.0
Love the bass line. Cant wait to play it when i get home
Did you play it?
Did you play it?
Did you play it?
I listen to this every-time I need to fly to Vegas. Makes me think I am about to pull off a heist.
If you’re disappointed that you can’t find this song on the OST, that’s because it’s on a separate album entirely and is called “Rodney Yates”.
This is some good casino elevator music
It might give people the idea to rob it😂

For anyone interested in the original sample used by Holmes, check out Chico Hamilton's "MSP" (on "The Gamut," 1968).
Wow!
u mean the start of that chico track "conquistadores"??
:-)
I need a 10 hours version of this

I love this theme.
I only wish there were more Ocean's movies.
Rumor has it that they're working making prequels to the original 11.
It is describing intellectual rascal atmosphere quite well.

Does this music reflect the reality of Vegas and not just the idea? I've never been, but I hope so.

I play this everytime I drive to work at the casino.
Songs of the ocean's making me feel like i own a casino so good and timeless this is.
Thanks.
@fallingup90 Right right, I noticed the music during the casino implosion is slightly different. Thank you so much! This really helps!
