I like how Laura talks about and shows the other plants around the area of the new planting despite them not being directly related to the video. I love seeing how the other plants are developing since they were planted and how they all relate to each other and the new birches. Thanks!

Kudos to your parent’s garden center for bringing in such a great selection of trees and other plant material. Around here they tend to stick to the same handful of ordinary trees. Diversity is important especially after issues of entire varieties getting struck by pests or disease like ash trees and emerald ash borer.

You have given me two great options for a space in my garden bed! I have a corner to fill that is somewhat awkward as the bed is full sun, but my garage clips the light in one corner. I currently have a black lace elderberry but I don’t think it is getting as much light as it really needs. I have plenty of space if I wanted to transfer the elderberry to pop in a small tree like these and with plenty of room to move them into more full sun! Now to search and choose! The south garden has transformed so much and it has been a wonderful journey so far. As I drink my morning coffee, I’m excited to see what all you do this growing season!

I can't get over how a few days of rain has greened up your grassed areas! Looking great!

Will you be doing a bulb tour soon? Our spring has been so cold, that my daffodils haven't even started peeking through the ground yet. :( (MN, zone 4b) I need to live vicariously through yours!

The trees are beautiful. This spot is really "sprucing" up.

What cool varieties of birch trees! I love that they are small so they can be added to the small yards in suburban areas! I planted a birch at my last house that got 30 ft high and I love the white peeling bark but have no space in my current house yard to add one so these are great options!! LOVED the music to this video!!! Thank you for starting my day off with a great, relaxing garden video!!! God bless!!!!

I love learning about trees that can be planted that don't necessarily take up 20 ft. of the yard. I learn so much from watching you Laura. Thank you yet again!!! 🙂

It’s really exciting when you see two new to you trees that will work in your yard and find out that they will actually survive your zone 4 Minnesota winters 😂
Now I gotta find these trees too! Gorgeous! Thank you!

I love the way this was filmed. I wonder if Aaron sometimes thinks...Wow! that's my wife.
