Got to thinking, I googled Harman shovel and see it was Australian built. Sad domestic companies as Harman , Chamberlain, Holden and I’m sure there are many others met their demise.

I do have a book that tells the history of Harmon. I beleave they were Built in australia but not sure ig Australian design.
And yes. Both the Holden and Ford car factorys have now closed down in the last few years. We dont make alot of things any more
@@hurricanedaniel The little I found stated that they built a few of their own diesel engines.
@@oldamericaniron5767 harmons i have seen have had alot of International engines, GM, Gardners also. Not sure about a Harmon buillt motor
