- Mini review I did of The Creator while I was streaming last month.
Currently in Japan so I can’t make videos in my usual style so I hope you enjoy this review of a film I wish people would support.
Thanks for watching. - Розваги
Day 184 of telling th3birdman I appreciate his content
Ok
Really appreciate when passionate people can point us in the direction of better stuff. There’s so many impressive projects out there, over and underground.
Ok
I loved it. 80 mill budget and looks better than most Marvel films lol You're right about pacing. Couple other flaws but over all it was a great time.
What’s hilarious is that Disney put this film out (through fox)
The creator is freaking wonderful, in my opinion it’s pretty much good. Pacing is a bit odd but it’s really good. Also yeah the ending had me in tears to the little girl is the heart of the film.
New Bman context wooo, I saw The Creator twice myself once by myself and a second time I dragged my friends to it and they loved it just as much I had I had. I wish more people would've seen it
Fan fact: The actress who played Alfie in The Creator, Madeline Yuna Voyles, cosplayed as Anya Forger from SpyxFamily during Comic Con 2023!
This. _This._ THIS!!!!
I won't add anything to what you said, it's just wonderfully said. THANK YOU BIRDMAN 😊
Agree about the pacing. And the editing wasn't terrible, but it did sort of make it hard to follow at points.
Pretty solid flick though. Don't know if you agree, but it felt like a live action anime, and I loved that
I liked it so much! I agree the pacing was it's biggest shot in the foot BUT everything else was so affective. Definitely cried during it lol wasn't expecting that
I saw it and I have to give credit to Gareth and company for making an original film with such grand scale
I saw this movie twice (once on opening night and then again a few days later) and while I thought it was good there was one issue I had that kept it from being great. I wish some of the themes were explored a little better. The pacing doesn't really allow you more than 30 seconds to focus on something, and so the themes come off as a little half-baked. I really wish the film had spent more time exploring the similarities and differences between the humans and the simulants, but they never really do.
I have a handful of other little nitpicks that don't make a whole lot of sense if you think about them too hard, but I can mostly let them slide because the acting, directing, and cinematography were all really on-point.
I really need to rewatch this movie because I feel like I need to. Although there was one single line that stuck with me even now “Donate your likeness.” I don’t know why but this line haunts me.
I liked this movie alot and thank u again for the link to the tattoo shop in Japan I’m here now and loving
I enjoyed it in theaters.
It was something different, yet familiar.
Having seen the first act of Rogue One many times i’m really not entirely surprised this movie juggles a million characters who aren’t particularly memorable.
now that i think about it, this review quite fitting for marvel's hit-monkey as well. if you havent watch, you should. it might sound like a high bar, but i believe you will love it as much as peacemaker if not more
its an amazing show with original plot that brought a lot of elements that people complaining about how mcu lacks. and yet some how nobody talks about it.
i do hope audience do the justice that it deserves at season 2.
0:44 yeah i went and afterwards immediately told people to SPEND MONEY on this film. Like dont just watch it, GO GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY! its so good
Keep up the good work
I did go and support this movie, I think it was great.
I think people have gotten so used to staying home and streaming the movies they wanna see. 20 bucks and you and your friends can watch together and provide snacks and drinks for much cheaper too. I still enjoy the theaters but everytime I've gone this year they're practically empty. I wouldn't think much of it if I was in the sticks but I live in DC.
looking forward to this story you said you been working on for fifteen years tho👀
How have i literally never heard of this movie.
The movie looks amazing
I know it ends up being critical to the plot, but I was disappointed by the lack of Gemma Chan. I agree about the ended, it literally had me tearing up
The truths Th3Birdman says makes me support him because as Uncle from Jackie Chan Adventures says: We must do research!
He embodies that concept
speaking of blockbusters that people(loud minority) complain, i hope we get to see your did it suck? video for the marvels. personally i enjoyed the shit out of that movie
all 3 phases full with good action, good songs and good interactions. totally improvement over the first movie(which even then i was noted as 7/10, only because the action scenes were a little underwhelming)
I heard robots and I m in.
I love machines
Just finished watching it yesterday, its cool but it borrows so many ideas from other movies that I started to not care half way through, I wanted the movie to like do something weird with the concept or do something out of nowhere y'know?
It had the same issues i had with Rogue 1.This is why i avoided it at the theatre.
That’s crazy this is just coming out, I just watched it 2 days ago
So apparently those who say they want fresh ideas are the ONLY people who go see movies and thus are responsible for when a fresh IP fails.
You know how there exists a huge majority of people who don't say anything in internet comment sections and just go to the theatre?
Blaming the vocal minority is ludicrous.
The problem with this type of rhetoric is that it’s clear the vocal minority doesn’t watch movies like these, and only harps on mainstream films like superhero movies. Seriously ask yourself why those that talk about the MCU so much don’t have a review for this movie.
These channels have millions of views, and thus have a tangible effect on how people see movies. Even the vocal minority can affect a films box office quite substantially. This is how these films become mainstream.
Sin his everything wrong with daredevil movie video, I'm a dd fan, I love when he swings around similar to Spiderman and his super hearing, he can hear everyone coming from so far away, that doesn't make him strong against some villains though, I've been wanting to read dd's comics for a while now, starting from volume 1 but I keep only finding newer ones, apparently he has an"apprentice"now? called blindside and he becomes the owner of the hand to train kids? wasn't he trying to stop the hand in the Netflix series?he eventually does in the defenders with the help of iron fist, power man and power woman, I'll be waiting for the everything wrong with daredevil if you do.
Yo watch the newest Cinemacins they did a future birdman bit it’s pretty on the nose
Dan Murrell recommended this, and I was going to stream it eventually, but wound up watching it on discount Tues. Had a coupon that was expiring and there wasn't much else to see at the time. I thought it was O.K.
Off topic though, I just watched CS do GOTG3, and can't wait for you to get back to destroy them. It was a bad video. Rel bad.
BRO! 1st off, stay flyin. Now, did Jeremy just rip ya whole future Birdman wave word for word bar for bar on that trash flash video he just drop? They tried to Panderverse you!
Scrolled the comments to see if someone mentioned this.
David Washington keeps me away from movies that star him. I bit the bullet and decided to see this movie becuase it did look cool but as expected, didn't like it at all.😂
Birdman I love alot of your review videos and agree with you 97% or the time.. but not this time I think the movie is pretty bad. John David Washington I feel plays the same character every time he has no depth. I think the story was poorly written and uninteresting. Every thing was just pushing me out of this movie
Fair enough.
I believe the response to this film is close to mixed, but still on the side of positive, so there are definitely people that share your opinion. Thanks for the comment, Lewis.
i think my only big problem was the action scenes. there were some pretty intense explosions and shoot-outs, yes. but these are things we can also find in vince gillian series or scorsese movies. not necessarily goes as action imo.
i was expecting something more similar to the ghost in shell or matrix. but i feel like protagonist couldnt offer much, other than running and hiding.
there was a scene in the middle of the movie. he took shit load of robot cops by himself in a matter of minutes. and i dig that. because i love when protagonists get physical and i think the movie was lacking more scenes like that.
FIRST(CAN I GET A HUG BIRDMAN???)
You'd have to be in Japan right now apparently
@@solvseusconsidering he’s called “Th3Birdman”, maybe he could use his wings to fly his black ass over to Elicapalot? 😂
