I saw the Mandarin Cut of the 4K version of this in London last month. I never thought I would see the day, but it was 99% uncut (the saw in the head scene never made it to cinema, no matter what people say. Yes it was filmed and from what has been said, it was not so special to keep in as it was somewhat hoky and shot in reverse, much like the scene where Bruce kicks the knife back at the boss and was decided it was not worth keeping as it was not gonna pass the censor board.) But seeing all the scenes I heard about for decades and finally seeing them on screen, my heart was pounding. There were extended fight scenes with more violence with James Tien's character. The "cart scene" where two carts are pushed at James and Bruce and then when they go home and talk about the fight with the rest of the family. A moment where you see the manage pick up a severed head after chopping up the first victims and seeing him toss it into the water to be frozen. You see more training of the Boss and his Son, along with the blood splatter from James' head being cut open and finally Bruce vowing revenge and stopping at the brothel for one last round as we see the scene fade out after he throws the pro onto the bed and both get undressed and then see here exhausted and covered in sweat as Bruce gets dressed, take out whatever money he has left and gives it to her with a smile and then sees and takes the crackers from the table in the room.
Ah i wondered whether the James Tien spurting head scene was included in the mandarin print. I believe the saw scene was filmed but never made the final cut, apparently they couldn't get it to work properly & it was left out, either that or it was censored prior to it's release in 1971, this does seem to have basis in fact as nobody has seen it.
Thank you for sharing this, I appreciate it. I have to say that I too scene the Mandame cut of the big boss and there was a Saw in the head scene. I never forgot this scene because of the reactions from the movie theater. It was loud, l wanted to see it again the following week but they had taken it away from the theater. A few months later it comes out with new soundtracks and cut scenes. Someone has to have it but for now I got to get this version. Thanks for posting this.
Everyone loves ENTER THE DRAGON - including me - but when I saw the BIG BOSS - it blew me away - the weapons you'd find in any countryside in the Philippines, Thailand, etc... The thugs awoken the sleeping giant - the LETHAL country bumpkin.

The Big Boss Mandarin Cut is pretty much the main reason I am buying the Arrow set, but hearing you mention all of the cut footage we may be getting, I am very excited for this. Was obsessed with Bruce lee movies growing up always wondered why the trailer on the cert x vhs has scenes in that were not in the vhs 😂 hopefully the new box set will give us 99% of the footage cheers mate 👍
Fantastic video so much I didn't know and I learned today. I really enjoyed it and I told all my friends about this video. Keep up the fantastic job enjoy your day my friend.
Excellent video, I never thought I’d see these deleted scenes in my lifetime! I discovered the arrow release through your videos! Thank you very much! I had no idea that I would finally get to see these scenes after researching them and daydreaming about them for literally years upon years! 2023 is a great year for us diehard Lee fans! Let’s see those lost TVB interviews soon! Still daydreaming but now it’s whilst watching the extended Big Boss 😎
I recall buying the uncut versions of the Bruce Lee films about 30 years ago. They used to do Chinese cinema events at a small cinema in Nottingham at the time around 1994 and they would sell VHS copies of films. I remember watching the Bare-footed kid, saviour of the soul and once upon a time in China part 2 at the time. I think I bought the uncut version of Big Boss from there. Or I ordered it from a website that was selling specialist magazines about Chinese films. They sold lots of Chinese films not on general release. I had amassed a small collection at the time but moved on to DVD. I lost the films over time. I do remember the saw in the head scene and it was your typical scene where Bruce hits him in the head and the fight pauses to get a visual of watching the guy wince in pain before the fight progresses. Watching it again on 4k it looks like this choreography was used again in fist of fury in the nunchaku scene. The scene where the nuchaku hits the guy in the head and blood spurts out is similar to the fight in big boss with the saw. That should give you an idea of how that scene played out.
Awesome video, Stripey. That criterion release has really been cleaned up nicely. I remember an old VHS copy I had with flashing red and green borders in some scenes!
Another great video Stripey. Really enjoying these. Just a bit of extra trivia for you again. Bruce tasting his own blood was a idea he got from his student Larry Hartsell. Larry told him once he tasted his own blood and spat it out in a bar fight to intimidate his opponent.😁👍🐉
Cheers, Fella. I really appreciate it. I have heard that about Larry Hartsell & the blood tasting. Bruce does look badass, when he does it. Have a great day, mate! 👍
A great roundup of the missing scenes Stripey. Can't wait for the Arrow box set. Like you the Mandarin cut of the Big Boss will be the first thing I go to. Can't wait!!! 😁
I remember watching these movies in the movie theaters in the early 70s and seeing all the uncut versions that later in the 80 and 90 got cut. The early theatrical versions I seen had all the cut scenes , not only Big Boss but also all the other ones.
great video stripey I hope we get more videos. As I said, the big boss is just a mystery that we will never find out why all these cut scenes are missing, but I saw on another page that there is more missing than what is actually missing. I hope that we will see a bit of something with Arrow, but not everything, but I still think Arrow should be given a big shoutout for the great work and I hope that we will see Arrow as the right big boss for all Bruce Lee fans at some point. my name is Roberto munich
I believe a lot of the earlier scenes featuring James Tien were removed as he was originally going to be the main character but as filming progressed, Lo Wei became aware of Lee's superior presence & the roles were reversed with Lee becoming the main lead.
Hi Stripey, Great video, I love all your Bruce Lee related videos. One scene I've read about that you didn't mention is on the morning when Bruce's Uncle leaves for the ferry. We see Maris Yi (supposedly) looking at the sunrise, but stills show she is holding a tray with 2 glasses. There's lots of discussions about this and also a still of all three of them together on the Jason Hart article. So it seems she wasn't looking at the sunrise, but watching Bruce and Uncle walking off. This scene as it is doesn't make sense, why would she be looking at the sunset holding a tray with 2 glasses, without any reference to what she was doing with them. Keep up the great work.
You're right, it is on the article on Bruce Lee Lives. Dang, I wish I'd included that! It makes sense, like Jason Hart wrote "when she wakes the cousins for work, she is carrying a tray with two empty glasses, and that Bruce is not in the sleeping quarters" Cheers fella. I'm learning as I go, thank you 👍
Thanks again for your videos ! Always very interesting and helpful. I can't wait for the bluray of " Bruce Lee at Golden Harvest " hoping the missing scenes of THE BIG BOSS will be restored. Take care Sir
This video was a real treat for me - Big Boss is my favourite Bruce film. Something I'd love more information on is the cast. Even James Tien & Maria Yi who played major roles in the film, next to nothing is out there about their lives after retiring from film. Heard that's the norm in Hong Kong cinema, though. But to go even deeper, I often wonder what ever became of the Thai henchmen who were of course minor characters but fairly distinctive in their own right as far as disposable movie grunts go. If they are still with us, what an untapped reserve of stories for a documentary or featurette about the movie that would be. Well...we're probably more likely to get an in depth interview with the thug in the silly hat who got punched through the Ice Factory wall than Warner Brothers cranking out any new extras for Enter The Dragon. I'm just dying to buy the Linda Lee Cadwell interview gallery for the umpteenth time. Once again, thanks again Stripey for the Bruce content, especially anything focusing on the Big Boss! Regards from Australia.
You're very welcome, mate. I too, would like to know more about James Tien & Maria Yi after Big Boss & Fist of Fury (I'll have a poke about to see what I can find) I know what you mean about the "Linda Lee Cadwell interview gallery" WB suck! Cheers pal, have a great day 👍
I had a super 8 copy of enter the dragon at the end was clips from the other bruce lee movies. I know i saw on this movie the saw in the head sceen. Also all the original sound track too. Also the head thrown into machene too. They were all dubbed. Really bad. But the picture was very clear. I enjoy your clips i have ordered the 4k relieses plus enter the dragon . Keep it up.
Nice recap on the missing footage Stripey. I’ll be watching the mandarin cut of the big boss first when my Arrow boxset arrives. It’s been talked about for so long now it’s time to finally see it - Antony
Ive visited Pak Chong 3 times its well worth a look if you are in Thailand also the Poonsin restaurant in Bangkok where the drunken party scene was filmed .❤
@@StripeyR the ice factory and bosses villa haven't changed a bit ,stay in the Rim Tar Inn same hotel the crew stayed in it backs on to the stream with the waterfall 👍
ive been to the ice factory and the Big Boss house(Sirisompan Temple) in Pak Chong awesome place at the backof the house it has the small chalet type rooms still there.ive been 3 times last time i was there theres a small car garage to the right of it on the other side is a large toyota dealership .when i was passing the small garage they had an old toyota celica for sale i asked how much it was because it was in thai writing .they asked me why i was there i said Big Boss house next door the young guy said hang on i will get my dad he was with Bruce Lee in 71 he told me some great stories and all the locations were they shot and the Rimtarn Hotel across from the house and river scene was behind the hotel which runs behind the ice factory some scenes were shot near the train station which got burned down ...
Hi Stripey - Alex here, Im new to your channel.. I saw the video where Jon ( Mondo Chelloveick ) had you givin a little info on Bruce.. so I thought I’d come check some of your Bruce Lee videos out - as im a life long fan of his.. an a practitioner of Wing Chun, Kali and JKD👊🏽 The Big Boss is actually my second favourite Bruce film.. ENTER being the first! - so this video really caught my eye! 🤯 I didn’t realise there’s so many cuts of the film! It’s nuts ! I’ll be gettin the ARROW 4K boxset soon as I’ve saved the £ 😅‼️ Real cool video, mate 👊🏽‼️
Hi you've practiced different forms can you please confirm if you have ever used them in a street fight to defend yourself ,and which is the most effective against a violent mugger, best regards
Hello, Alex. Thank you. Jon's a great guy (with an amazing film collection). I did a little Kali myself for a few years (I'm not practicing at the moment tho) The Big Boss was one of my least favorite Bruce films, but I must admit, lately I've found a new appreciation for the movie. I can't wait for the Arrow set to drop & watch the 99% uncut Mandarin print! so excited! Cheers, fella 👍
@@StripeyR always cool to bump into someone that has some Kali under their belt👊🏽! It’s been a while for me too! I’m wing chun focused at the min. Yup that ARROW set is gonna send me on a deep dive ! An I kinda promised Jon I’ll do my Bruce film ranking video from there! It’s been I while sine my last video! As I’ve recently got my FIRST car! 🤩 so you get the picture ! “Be Walter, my fried” ✌🏽
Yep all those scenes are in the Mandarin cut. There is a marked difference in quality which basically helps you discover the added scenes. Also the old subs were still on the bottom of the screen. Excellent video again mate keep them coming !
@@StripeyR ive seen a lobby card with Lee and the boss rolling on the ground and different trees so it wasnt filmed at the mansion......prolly just a pr shot
Hey Stripey Top notch video as always.👍Do any release versions of The Big Boss contain more footage of the body parts that are place in ice in the icehouse factory just after Bruce tastes the heroin?......Most versions I have seen ie the HKL dvd is cut so any info from your good self or anyone would be much appreciated🙂 I do remember that particular scene shown at the cinema back then but the 'head in the saw' scene* I have never seen apart from a reconstructed one they did for 2 disc HKL Platinum edition dvd. Ps The * was done intentionally and not a typo mistake.😂 Keep up the good work Stripey...I'm still going through some of your older uploads.
great video. probably the best video that covers ithe big boss edis so much. there's a manderin edit review on youtube. it seems most of the new footage is within the first 30 mins plus the sex scene where he gets the bag of crisps at the end.
Great video, Ive heard of all these deleted scenes and saw images of some. I really hope we get the full version in the Mandarin cut, that would be amazing.
I saw all of His Movies totally uncut. In our town In the 70's, one Cinema had to close on a Wednesday (Private Cinema) and like us, the Manager was a Kung Fu Nut. He would order all the latest Films. Some were withdrawn from UK showings. And We got to see all of Bruce Lee's. You missed the Extra parts when Bruce finds the Bodies In the Ice, The James Chan Axe fight was cut to pieces. The garden fight was cut, the one Inch punch to the head. The bit where Bruce walks from the Bed to the chair (Filmed from behind). There are so many others, I hope that the Mandarin copy Is the full one I saw that day. Did You know the Enter the dragon has missing scenes as well. When Williams and Roper finish talking, then You see Him open a food bucket. Then He rocks back shaking His head. Ever wonder why that was. Because It Is full of Eyes (Monkey;s Probably) Why they cut that?. And When Bruce Is In the Underground for the first time, You only see Him hit one Guard. There was four In total. I could go On. Criminal what they did to His Films. All the other Movies I saw where pretty Brutal, but cannot find all of them today, Yet I can tell You scenes from all of them. Fingers Crossed.
Thanks for that info, very insightful. I hope these are restored in the Mandarin Cut. Do you recall seeing the Saw-Head-Scene in BB in the 70's or is that just too long ago to remember?
@@dogley1 It was defiantly In the Movie I watched. It Is the Image You see shot from the Back. The Front view Is just a picture taken on the shoot. Hope this Helps.
@@TheBudgie29 That's amazing to think this 100% print could have been circulating in the UK back then. You're not the only claiming it existed. My own father was 18 years old in 1975 and he swears to me he saw it at that point. He says it was at a smaller(independent) cinema in Croydon, South East London.
@@dogley1 It would have been a (Independent, Private) Cinema as they had to close on a Wednesday. He must have been the same age as me at the time. So Yes He would have seen the same Workprint as Me. I bet He could roll off all the other cuts as well.
I've seen it. A lot of it is odd little shots (some of James Tien chasing the drinkstand thugs) and extra lines here and there, and almost all of the missing material is in the first and last half hours. Theres a bit more to the circular saw dismemberment, where the manager throws a towel-wrapped head into the ice mould, and the shot of James Tien's bleeding head is restored, along with the cart-jumping. The most noticeable is the last fifteen minutes - Bruce vowing revenge on the river bank (more explicit flashbacks of the dead family), Bruce visiting the brothel directly before going to the boss's house (it's here where he picks up the bag of crackers). Still unaccounted for, is the saw to the head, an extra shot of the bodies in the ice which was in the trailer, and reputedly some more to the dismemberment.
ten minutes is a long time in a 100 minute film, hopefully all the bits have been restored.stripey what t-shirt company do you use to make your own shirts.
It's ages, mate. Can't wait to get my hands on the Arrow set, & check it out! The t-shirt company are on Amazon UK. I intend to open a shop on Spring, when I finally get to 10K subs (I think that's the criteria on there site)
The scene you talked about when Bruce lee and the other went down the alley being attack by two cops then they jumped 20ft in the air to avoid it I’ve actually watched the scene Bruce lee asked the other guy "how did you learn to fight?" Other guys said “I’ll learn from mostly books"
Great video! I need some advice if you only had the money for the Treasures of Bruce Lee book or the Bruce Lee Criterion Collection boxset which would it be? Keep up the excellent work!
Forget Criterion, get Arrow. This is Gods wirk that will make all other versions obsolete (well eccept for Enter the Dragon....please Warner Bros....have Bruce original voice in the extended edition...I don't care if it is Atmos and not mono...just make it right...no John Little!!
Thanks fella. The Treasures of Bruce Lee book is an amazing piece & well worth a purchase. As is Criterion Collection, but honestly, like @humphreybogart6663 said, The Arrow set coming out, maybe the thing to buy, mate. It isn't cheap, but it's a 10 disc set with a 200-page hardbound book, Twenty-four lobby card reproductions, Ten glossy photos & a Reversible poster. 👍
Thanks for the reply! I have the Arrow boxset & the Enter the Dragon boxset pre ordered, I can't wait for both. So it was really what was worth adding to my collection, the Teasures book or the Criterion Collection? Thanks again for the reply, keep up the excellent work!
@@badkarmaonezero No problem, mate. I did a video on the Treasures Book, 4 years ago, ua-cam.com/video/e8zSOrS8P-Y/v-deo.html It may help you make up you're mind. cheers 👍
I live close to the film location of The Big Boss. Many of the locations have hardly changed even the ice factory is still in operation. Did you know that the big bosses house was actually the real house of a wealthy Thai gentleman all of the furniture, family photos and pictures that you see in the background belonged to the wealthy owner at the time the director Lo Wei simply showed up, filmed and left it as it was. The wealthy owner ended up donating the house to monks and turned it into a temple to preserve the place. Over the years visitors purchased most of the items that we're in the movie as souvenirs, when I showed up 7 years ago there was almost nothing left in there that was visible in the movie. I paid the monks extra money to look around in other rooms that were out of bounds and found the blue chair that Bruce sits on when he visits the big boss to discuss what happened to his cousin played by James Tien The beautiful chair is now in my home and many people ask to sit on it when they hear the story. If any Bruce Lee fans comes to Thailand and would like to visit the locations feel free to contact me
great review ! There's a few more .. little bits and bobs , some of the scene's are quite long. They all really help to add more to this heavily edited movie .. I watched the hybrid cut at the Cinema in Newcastle and I'm looking forward to viewing the original Raw transfer of the film which I'm so pleased they have included .. it seems a lot of the edits where made to reduce James Tiens fight time and role in the movie and make Bruce Lee more the main role and increase the pacing of the movie and reduce its run time for cinema showings internationally . I wonder if the ice factory scene with the Saw and thug cut out after he's punched though the wall was the original director ?? ..I'm not sure but this look very different from the rest of the movie and could explain why the saw scene was edited out ..that or it was just too gory for the HK film censors ? or.. the SFX was not very good and they decided not to use the footage very early on in the film editing process.
Cheers, Steve. I know I've not included all the edits & cuts (unfortunately) I'm learning as I go, mate, (gotta love the Bruce Lee community) I'm also looking forward to the Arrow set, the Raw Transfer of the Big Boss, has really got my interest. You may have a point regarding the Ice Factory & the First Director (I honestly don't know) Thanks Pal 👍
Did the Mandarin cut arrive? I'll check your videos. I was watching the Big Boss in Cantonese with English subtitles and they cut the second bordello scene too.
@@StripeyR you too sir have you ever watched the true game of death it's better than the new game of death aka goodbye Bruce Lee, I wish Hollywood would use deep fake or hire some one who strongly resembles Bruce Lee and complete the game of death using celluloid and colour filter to match the 1973 footage and hire a George lazenby lookalike a wong ingsik lookalike and complete the movie the setting of the Korean pagoda is mystifying and it would be a great adventure martial arts movie ,
Welldone stripey My Brother who has sadly passed away went too the kfm Bruce lee convention its in the kfm he told me all that you mentioned except 1 extra seen with Bruce and his uncle at night when evereyone gathers around james tien tells one off his Brothers too get more wine they all get drunk together then they show Bruce and the uncle in the morning before he leaves i did also mention too charles damiano that this is the most cut film and Bruce and Raymond chow had the full Mandarin cuts seen also by Samo hung at the premier hope this helped
Please? Please? Please? Talk about the missing Ice Factory scene that was shown in: "the dragon story" ...that featured Jason Lee. I remember seeing the scene when I was a kid. Don't think that I'm crazy for saying that but it was in the big boss!!!.....
@@StripeyR thank you so much for your reply really appreciate it. Keep up your great work on my hero Bruce Lee watch and loke all of your videos bless you.
Prt 5. Please mention this because I wondered is someone keep the film also this team was in the big boss because I remember seeing it as a kid and can you please speak on this?
rare fact , the tee shirt Bruce wore was originally red ! The ice factory night time brawl was the first scent to be shot , the blood effects could not be seen on the red shirt and it was changed to white for effect . Same as the black to yellow jumpsuit in GOD as described by Andre Morgan recently . Many will dispute this tee shirt story but I have actually laid my eyes on it ! It can go into the saw scene file .
I didn't know this, Mick. I'm going to have a dig into this & see what I can find out. Very interesting. Could you possibly send me the Andre Morgan link please, mate? I'd love to find out more. cheers pal
The beard and the pig tail dialogue that is in the older 4k Japanese, but missing the scene where they dispose of the dead bodies. But it is still missing in the 4K Arrow.
hi what I want to know is the usa going to be able to see these videos as well as the uk sure would like to know thanks you sure make it clear to understand thank you. enjoying your channel .
also the ice factory is on the other side of the road about a quarter mile it near a Isuzu dealership funny thing when i was walking down towards it one of the workers said Bruce Lee i said yes he said ok he got the owner who said go round the back the river is there .
It was a deleted scene when Chen went back to the ice factory to investigate to see if they really store drugs in the ice. Not only did they store drugs but he saw Shu-Sheng but also I think Ah-Pei and somebody else and then that's when the son the thugs came in. That's the deleted scene I was looking for.
Prt.2. There wasn't saying that the guy jumps off the truck, (during the Ice Factory scene).. they were in the middle of a scene when a guy jumps off a truck and tells Bruce Lee I read your book and I know your tricks!...
I would like to add some information, I know there are scenes missing from Bruce Lee's first movie the big boss ,The scene that's missing from the fight that Bruce Lee had with Han Ying-chieh is in the Chinese version of the big boss. Also the movie is based on a true story.

The scene where the nuchaku hits the guy in the head and blood spurts out is similar to the fight in big boss with the saw. That should give you an idea of how that scene played out.
We need Bruce lee
Thank you. Excellent video. Really enjoyed seeing the missing footage. Your a legend.
Thank you, Vico, I enjoyed you're comment...A lot!

I like the Bey Logan commentaries on the DVDs from the old HKL label
Me too, Bey knows so much about Bruce & Hong Kong films, and he's so enthusiastic about it! Cheers fella

Awesomeness 👍☮️☯️
Thanks 👍
Terrific job! You've got my subscription 👍
Thank you 👍
Another great video Stripey.
Thank you, I really appreciate it mate
Great video Stripey.
Looking forward to your review when the release is out!
Thanks Pal. I will be doing an unboxing (obviously) & of course reviewing the set! Cheers fella
Excellent analysis,and fact finding 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯well done 👍🏾
Much appreciated
I remember watching these movies in the movie theaters in the early 70s and seeing all the uncut versions that later in the 80 and 90 got cut. The early theatrical versions I seen had all the cut scenes , not only Big Boss but also all the other ones.
Your videos make my day
Thank you, fella 👍
Without a doubt my first disc on the Arrow boxset will be the big boss, mandarin cut. Only 2 weeks to wait 😅
Same ere, mate. I can't wait. cheers 👍
great video stripey I hope we get more videos.
Cheers, Roberto, I appreciate it mate. I'll be giving Arrow a huge shout-out, once I receive the set, mate 👍
It will be shown in theaters here in the US where we live next month, can’t wait!
That's awesome, fella. Enjoy (I know you will) 😀
I believe a lot of the earlier scenes featuring James Tien were removed as he was originally going to be the main character but as filming progressed, Lo Wei became aware of Lee's superior presence & the roles were reversed with Lee becoming the main lead.
That makes a lot of sense, Gal.
@@StripeyR saw Boss late 80s on vhs , 2nd hooker scene and the 2 carts scene were in it but dont recall any saw scene
Another awesome video! Thanks for the effort you put in to these. They are so well done and very informative.
Thank you, Steven. I really appreciate it mate! 👍
Cheers, pal. I think 99% of The Big Boss is restored in the Arrow set (I can't wait) Thanks again

Indeed a lot cuts
I remember the roomers of Bruce lee putting his fingers through pop cans and beer cans and lighting fast!,
This video was a real treat for me - Big Boss is my favourite Bruce film.
I too, would like to know more about James Tien & Maria Yi after Big Boss & Fist of Fury (I'll have a poke about to see what I can find)
I know what you mean about the "Linda Lee Cadwell interview gallery" WB suck!

Keep it up.

Hi Stripey - Alex here,
Im new to your channel.. I saw the video where Jon ( Mondo Chelloveick ) had you givin a little info on Bruce.. so I thought I’d come check some of your Bruce Lee videos out - as im a life long fan of his.. an a practitioner of Wing Chun, Kali and JKD👊🏽
The Big Boss is actually my second favourite Bruce film.. ENTER being the first! - so this video really caught my eye! 🤯 I didn’t realise there’s so many cuts of the film! It’s nuts ! I’ll be gettin the ARROW 4K boxset soon as I’ve saved the £ 😅‼️
Real cool video, mate 👊🏽‼️
Hi you've practiced different forms can you please confirm if you have ever used them in a street fight to defend yourself ,and which is the most effective against a violent mugger, best regards
Hello, Alex. Thank you. Jon's a great guy (with an amazing film collection).
I did a little Kali myself for a few years (I'm not practicing at the moment tho)
The Big Boss was one of my least favorite Bruce films, but I must admit, lately I've found a new appreciation for the movie. I can't wait for the Arrow set to drop & watch the 99% uncut Mandarin print! so excited!
Cheers, fella 👍

Funny, I see this as I'm watching the Big Boss 😅
Nice. Enjoy The Big Boss, Pal 👍
Great video, Ive heard of all these deleted scenes and saw images of some. I really hope we get the full version in the Mandarin cut, that would be amazing.
@@kato771 hopefully mate, only a week to go 👍
I saw the Mandarin cut back in Kilburn at a Bruce Lee convention. I could never understand most of the cuts.
Very informative Stripey. Another deleted scene is the bodies in the ice pre saw in head and fght..
Of course, mate. You're right, It's shown in the 8mm Trailer. Cheers pal 👍

Thanks Pal 👍
some parts are cut to reduce weight of the reel as it costs them to send it to the cinemas... thats why some parts that don't need cutting is cut.
Kinda makes sense. cheers 👍
With all of the different regions, you get some scenes and others deleted. In the US, a great many of these were - seen.

I paid the monks extra money to look around in other rooms that were out of bounds and found the blue chair that Bruce sits on when he visits the big boss to discuss what happened to his cousin played by James Tien
The beautiful chair is now in my home and many people ask to sit on it when they hear the story.
If any Bruce Lee fans comes to Thailand and would like to visit the locations feel free to contact me
Excellent story, fella. Thanks for sharing. I'd love to visit Pak Chong some day (I've been to Koh Samui, & loved it)

National General bought the North American rights for movie theaters in the 1970's.
great review !
I know I've not included all the edits & cuts (unfortunately) I'm learning as I go, mate, (gotta love the Bruce Lee community)
I'm also looking forward to the Arrow set, the Raw Transfer of the Big Boss, has really got my interest.

rare fact , the tee shirt Bruce wore was originally red ! It can go into the saw scene file .

also the ice factory is on the other side of the road about a quarter mile it near a Isuzu dealership funny thing when i was walking down towards it one of the workers said Bruce Lee i said yes he said ok he got the owner who said go round the back the river is there .
