Wife and I just moved to AB from ON and did our first summit ever! (Ha Ling) and already want to do another one we're hooked! Does the loose rock at the top not scare you? How do you know you wont slide all the way down?
Welcome to Alberta😁 I just want to clarify that this is a scramble and not a hike. You can't compare this one to Ha Ling. They are two very different types of summits. If you plan to do this one start scrambling a lot shorter ones first and build your confidence and skills. Also if you plan to do scrambles get helmets, they are a must. Mist Mountain will be there for you when you are ready for it.
Mist is a big boy. Nice hike. Did it last year. The views are spectacular. Weren’t many on the trail for us either. Expected to run into a grizzly in the meadow but luckily did not. Nice job.
Wow that was a nail biting hike! I wonder what the process was to get all those pieces of shale at the top of that mountain! Would have been neat to see nature at work creating that! It did look a bit dangerous walking on all that shale. Fascinating!
This one was a beast for sure. I am so glad I did it, because I will never do it again🤣. To many sketchy sections for my liking. Thanks for watching and commenting.
This one is now on our bucket list, unreal views! But don't know if we could get past your Holy Foly Moly moment!...that's some serious exposure. Cheers for all the great videos.
@@LIVEONALBERTA I know this is by far your hardest hike, I've seen all you vidz. You can do the Temple! Just take your time. I cant wait to see you video of it coz I'm sure it will be super awesome!
Great job. The views were excellent up there. I was there in July, tried and failed to summit. But did have a nice dip in the hot (warm) springs. Again, very well done!!

Thank you very much, it was a tough one, but I am so glad I did it.
How many hours did that take you?
My moving time was 8 hours and my total time was 14 hours, it was a long day.😪

Love your honesty along the way! New subscriber!
Thank you😁
That is quite a scree grind! I was planning to do Mist this fall, but the snow came to quickly
Ya I had no idea how long it was until I faced it.

Thank you very much. The ridge isn't that bad, but you have to take it slow. The best views I have ever seen on a hike.
This was on my list this year but didn't have the time to do it! Great video!
Thank you, it was a killer.
@@LIVEONALBERTA You've been upping the ante! Good for you Carey. More power!
@@MrPuroylan That was my hardest for this year, Mount Temple next year.

Thank you, that scree really sucked. I wanted to hit the hot springs, but ran out of time. I have to go back and hit them one of these days.
