Not just a great actor but simply a greater human being, you cannot help being positive when your around his presence weather in person or not!
What do you know about acting if you think he isn't good? 😂
He’s used his gifts to help others. A truly admirable person!
As he's building special needs houses for disabled veterans. That's a decent man!! MAGA 🇺🇲
Great resemblance to Mario Draghi
Gary is a brother to all veterans. We love him very much.
Gary Sinise is not only a great actor, he’s a wonderful person!
Came here to say the same thing!
The ground crew and mission managers were equally heroic in the story
You’re the veterans best friend, Gary! Thank you for all you do!
Not only for the vets, if a warrior loses his life, garry also takes care of the families left behind.
Always good to hear or see something about Gary Sinise and his work. Whether acting, playing as part of the Lt Dan Band, or other activities, he is sincere and hard working. He deserves to be successful. I wish there were more like him.
Absolutely!!!! I like his acting more than Tom’s.
I immediately thought of Lt. Dan too. How a man who fell short of his dreams and goals, through no fault of his own, can overcome these set backs and forge a meaningful, positive future.
-largely out of meaningful relationships and friends who never give up on you.
Gary Sinise is the kind of guy I want to enjoy dinner and conversation with because of the opportunity to learn and how to think about - well, everything. This is a great man who makes it important to be in contact with great men.
Gary's podcast with Jocko Willink is easily one of the best podcast episodes I've ever heard. Everyone should check out that podcast, it's really amazing.
Great actor - very authentic
One of my favorite roles that Gary has done. His work was excellent. I hope the real-life people approved.
love LT. Dan and the great work his band and foundation do!
We are blessed to have him.
Garry Sinise is on of the greatest human beings alive, what he does for his fellow country folks. And his acting. ❤
We loved reading Gary's autobiography .
I met Gary back when I worked at Disney. Most down to earth guy. He asked where the ice machine was. This amazing man, who stared in so many of my favorite movies, asked ME where the ice machine was. He was getting his own ice! I know I was just a random blip, but man… that was a core memory for me.
I so love this movie, never tire of watching it. ❤❤❤
He’s a bloody great man what he does for the veterans and the acting he does is also great but what he does for the victims, especially as it makes me truly appreciate the message Great human.
Amazing story and movie
Gary I have to say, your a great actor and have enjoy you in every character you've played. I really enjoy the Lt Dan band and am a fan. And I sincerely believe your Greatest achievements have been with our veterans, and love to see you on veterans Day and 4th of July activities. You are a very Good Man, and I'm very proud of You!! God bless you friend!
GS is versatile Actor. I have always enjoyed his work. GS is not a shout about it. He let’s the work he creates do the talking
Great story. It should have been longer.
Sneaky underrated phenomenal actor
That truly was a great man
What gem!!! We get no good movies anymore. Lots of entertaining ones.
I love Tom Hanks in recommending Gary Sinise to play in this movie too. So happy that Gary Sinise got this part. Love both of them.
This character truly represented the what could have been aspect of life that most experience.
Mr. Sinise - I wish we had more like him
he is great at what he does. it was a great role. loved the scene trying to figure out power management and boot up sequence for the LEM
He did great in both one of the people i think i would enjoy to meet
Gary is the perfect 6th man on the team. He let's the superstars do their thing and he comes off the bench and still provides the impact to keep things even more interesting.
Awesome man.
I saw him read the Christmas story at Disney one year. It was really really good.
Love the guy ❤
Classy dude. And great actor
Great Movie...
Awesome movie
That was a time when America was Great.
Gary Sinise is a national treasure.
Greate story because it's a true story.
Yes, A STORY! HE SAID IT! A. STORY.
The story of DEKE SLAYTON is fascinating!
Lt. Dan Forever - Sgt. William L. Daul, USMC Ret. 1968 Viet Nam ❤✝️😇
Gary Sinise is great actor
Love ya Gary
Gary is an American Treasure
He's name will never been forgotten
Gary Sneeze
Gary is a great actor and a great American. He’s a throwback to the Greatest Generation. 🇺🇸
The greatest generation is largely a lie. Not the guys who served. But the people back home. If you do the research it was a lot like covid. People flipped out about rationing and blackout nights on the east coast.
People are selfish no matter when they lived. A lot of people said "what about my freedom" when they had to sacrifice for the greater good during WWII.
We need more people like Gary
Gary Sinise is just a great dude
I'm surprised Gary and Tom haven't done more work together. they seem to have a good chemistry to them
Mr. Sinise created IMO one of the most memorable, inspiring characters ever. To this day, Lieutenant Dan comes to mind when life has. yet again, knocked the wind out of my sails. It wasn't just his excellent acting....it was also what he has done with the well-deserved fame that followed. The country could sure use more Lieutenant Dan's.
Great
I love Gary so much!
GOOD MOVIE
Hero.
Great American
I love the part in Apollo 13 where Gary lands the simulator in spite of simulated failures and says they need to do it again because they used too much fuel. Let's get it right! Mattingly's insistence on perfection is the spirit that saved the Mission.
Lieutenant Dan! You got new legs!
Love Gary Sinese. Good guy
I wonder how often Gary hears LT. Dan, ice cream. 😂😂😂
👍🇺🇸 Gary Sinse great American
"“Casted” isn't actually considered a real word in the English language. It might have been once upon a time, but not today. And most dictionaries will reject its use. It was used as the past tense of “cast” in British English for a while but has since been nixed.
"
Yeah I'm that guy. But I think Sinise would be proud of me.
He pushed this disappointment away and got to work saving his friends. What a good astronaut.
It's been 28 years since Apollo 13 came out..... where does the time go?
Apollo 13 is one of the Great Movies, in my book.
Gerry Sinises bodies of work in film is very vast and not only Forest Gump, great film multiple Oscar's almost sweep the night 👍 yes. He is a great bad guy check it out ohh so good.
The day that your a shrimp boat captain im an astronaut 😂
Apollo 13 is so well told. Even though we know the ending is still feels like a nail biter
For awhile there I thought Gary Sinese would be in every Tom Hanks movie like Adam Sandler does with his friends.
I swear, I thought this was Tom Hanks his voice at first😂
Acc to Rick Springfields biography..He was being considered for a role in Apollo 13...but turned it down (!!) He says....what a STUPID mistake!
Gary Sinise for President! VP?
He was the perfect choice for Mattingly.
Great actor and human
His voice sounds like Tom Hanks.
Lieutenant Daaan!!!
Lieutenant Dan !
🇩🇪🇩🇪❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
Nothing to do with this but there is a UA-camr who has earth moving business and he is rebuilding a truck called Lieutenant Dan. People are upset because he doesn’t have a truck done.
If the movie didn't change things that happened for dramatic effect, they were kind of lucky Mattingly was in the ground sorting that flight. I don't think it's overstating it to so he was vital to the rescue effort
This is why you don't let Forrest Gump drive/pilot a vehicle.
I believe a better story was never told. My dad was a machinest and did final machining on the magnesium fuel valves. When the disaster occurred the FBI pulled in the NASA suppliers employees who were directlÿ in contact with the components. The FBI suspected sabotage. My dad was interrogated for 6 hours.
"Casted" the word you are looking for is cast.. 😂😂😂
Lt. Daaaaan! Ice creeeeam!
"Cast," not "Casted."
Cast
Casted ?😂😂😂
I believe that Ken Mattingly,if he had been on Apollo 13 , they wouldnot have madeit through reentry Thomas K. Mattingly I wish I had his autograph on his photo .
"Casted"?
LOOtenANT daan
Cast, not casted
"Casted"? English much?
*hear it
That would sure put a turd in your wet suit! Denied cuz of measles exposure...
I wonder if he cares “who else is Epstein?“
don't you worry lieutenant Dan you're an awesome actor,, my favorite scene is when you're in the wheelchair and he comes out and you say they gave you the medal of Honor,, lol
"Negative Jim, I do NOT have the measles"
CASTED?....
its as fictional as the "real" thing
