The Easiest Way To Run Multitracks In Worship
Вставка
- Опубліковано 27 тра 2019
- Using multitracks and backing tracks in your church services is great for 2 things: 1. adding musical depth to worship and, 2. giving you a headache.
Today I go over the cheapest and simplest multitrack set-up. Once you know the basics of how to set up multitracks, it is not too difficult and you don't need lots of expensive gear to get started.

I started out in a new church using Abelton Live to run my tracks, it was really hard for me to leaRN AND even though I a confident in my ability to do the basics there are still many features that I dont know how to do. Recently upgraded my Playback app subscription to be able to use MIdi cues for lights and lyric slides as well as be able to shoot my tracks into Dante Virtual Soundcard and split them up into 8 outputs !!!
Great video!! Have been looking for a simple video like this. Thanks!
Thank you!
Super simple! Thank you for this video!
You're so welcome!
very simple explanation and thank you
Love you Nathan
Mina studio _ you rock
What do you think of the iReal Pro app for creating backing tracks? Would you create a tutorial on that app?
Jesus loves you bro!
I needed this video! I also love your shelves...where are they from?
Ikea!
But it is not stereo anymore for audience
Hi, thanks for such a great video! Is it possible to use multi-tracks without using in-ears? Our sound system can't accommodate in-ears at the moment.
NaomsDjums because you need to use a click track when using Multitracks you have to use some kind of headphones.
@@stuff.church If you mute the click...?
NaomsDjums then you won’t be able to stay in time with the track
Everyone talks about splitting from left to right. But how can you play tracks in stereo? For both front house and monitors?!
If you want multitracks in stereo instead of mono, you'll need to run out to an interface
@@stuff.church Make a video please!
you mentioned a free app near the end, can you be a little more specific, as to the name of one? thanks
There is the WorshipSong Band app and Loop Prime
What other interfaces (economical for a beginner) would you recommend if you don't want to run directly into a board? For instance, if I want to split out drums and bass?
I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to do. There is no way to split up the different instrument with special interfaces for multitracks, I believe loop community has one
Mina Studio now that I read it again- I realize I was off. What intro equipment is the best (like the iConnect) for splitting up tracks/click/guide/bass/drums?
@@randyp731 If you want to split all the instruments you'll have to but a special interface like this: loopcommunity.com/en-us/track-rig. If you just want a good budget audio interface for a computer, i use this one: www.behringer.com/Categories/Behringer/Computer-Audio/Interfaces/UMC404HD/p/P0BK1#googtrans(en|en)
I’m using this set up (using Prime app on iPad) how could I allow the track to also be heard in IEM mixes? Would you suggest just running another splitter off of that side?
Can you just sent both channels to your IEMs from your mixer?
@@stuff.church you’re right. Thanks!
Can the app for android just be used as playback track for artist. Touch and go kinda vibe?
I believe it could
@@stuff.church ok thanks, guess you could do a short video on it. Really looking for sumn that will work like ios soundcue, for android
Does the band only hear the click tracks or can they hear the tracks that the front of the house is listening to too to be able to follow along in the song?
You can here the tracks as well
@@stuff.church what do the singers hear? do they hear the tracks and click tracks or is that distracting and they don’t use it?
@@jtmusiclessons21 Yes, they would hear the tracks as well
Is it possible to run Multitracks from DAW in stereo instead of splitting audio to left and click to right, till providing click on IEM for Worship leader?
Most tracks are stereo split. If you get a multitrack with stereo music tracks you could theoretically run the clicks and cues tracks to an aux out as long as you have an aux out on your audio interface. But I’ve never seen any stereo Multitracks
This might not be the best place to ask (and perhaps this is a dumb question.) With Loop Community, can I upload songs I write or cover tunes even if they are NOT worship or Christian tunes. I'm a keyboardist and I sometimes play "secular" gigs. Would I get flagged for having a Billy Joel or Sir Elton song on there??
I wish I could help but I don't know the answer to that.
I run MTs from my mac to my mixer, i have a L/R splitter which does from my mac to my mixing board. A only issue is that the stereo audio is gone so it doesn’t sound as good, any idea how to fix this?
Since it is a split signal and you are only getting one signal from the music side it is impossible to make the one signal into stereo which requires 2 signals. Unfortunately its just a problem native to the split stereo signal that is standard for Multitracks
@@stuff.church Darnnnn! Is there no way around it?
Where can I get tracks from Spanish speakers bands or artist?
That is a good question, I am not sure, I believe loop community has spanish tracks
Is there an app for android to play tracks downloaded from multitracks.com?
multitracks.com has not made their playback app for android yet so you'd have to use an app like worshipsong band, it wont be able to access all the info of the multitrack.com file
how about just use playback?
Playback in main stage?
@@stuff.church can worshipsong band double up as a hands on playback player?
@@jayranjb1607 I suppose it could
Hi, how about windows? what program can you suggest? for beginners
Check out worshipsong band or any DAW, like Abelton or Presonus Studio
