Long heavy takeoff from Dubai aboard EK215 to Los Angeles - the 2nd longest currently-operating A380 flight in the world at 8323 miles. Takeoff was to the northwest out over the Persian Gulf, after which we turn north to begin the long nearly 16-hr flight back to the USA, the flight path of which took us directly over the North Pole.
Taken from seat 7K in Emirates business class; the flight was a whole experience on its own, and its one I’ll never forget. Truly one of the most memorable flights of my life! Flying the Airbus A380 has long been a bucket list item of mine, and I am SO happy I was finally able to make that happen! ✈️
