I actually think Jasmine is getting better at this, at least as “better” as you possibly can with deciphering jumbled recipes. I did not get pesto = pistachios, my brain went back to the jam.
This translation series is my favorite so I’m so happy this will now be a weekly thing! I’m currently learning Japanese and Korean I love seeing how words can be misinterpreted in these languages 😅
Whoever writes those small captions on screen deserves a raise. Also for something translated 50 time, the recipe on this episode doesn't feel that twisted 🤔
Honestly i don't think they are entirely honest with those shows. I'm always amazed how something quiet complex doesn't turn into something completely different. They are always 80% correct.....
you're forgetting that they're professional chefs!! they can easily decipher it anyway, it's a piece of cake for them. we've got to appreciate jasmine's efforts 😌👌🏼
Fun fact : I m korean but i ve never seen a pepero cake before here in S.korea. But it is true that pepero day is a big thing here. Fun fact 2 : pepero has numerous flavors including almond, white chocolate, strawberries, oranges, blueberries etc
i'm not korean but i lived in South Korea for 3 years, i've only ever seen it once only. Which was when my sisters boyfriend gifted it to her. It looked really pretty, though my sister was allergic to the ingredients added into it. So me and my brother ended up eating it and it was really good. If you haven't already, you should try it!
What I love about this series is that not only do you get to have fun watching all the silliness that happens, but you get two recipes for the price of one. Plus, the majority of the time, the translated recipe turns out to be quite good.
I have been watching Lost In Translation since it first began..Was soo ecstatic to know that it's officially a series now..Love it as always❤❤ Edit: Yes, I always will be supporting you guys.. ❤❤
I am sooo happy about you used Hungarian!!! 😂😂 Hungary is a small country, and I am so happy to hear my language in a TASTY video! I am here from the begining and so happy about that it is oficially a series now!! Congratulations! You all deserve it 😊
When I heard Cat Papyrus & seeing the title “Korean dish” I really thought its Pepero Cake and I am right 💜 3:17 Katie rocked 😎 Kelly & Jasmine shocked 😳 This is straight 15 mins of pure FUN ! 😂
They are lowkey making new dishes on the spot. Amazing as always and I love all of the chaos that is happening. Hehe Please don't ever end. PS. make a compilation cookbook out of all the new dishes that you invented with the names of show. Strawberry kingking is still the best for me
You have no idea how much this makes my day. I feel very grateful for Jasmine and the team for this content seriously 😭 also, Jasmine is SO intelligent. That’s all. Haha
Jasmine and Katie are the perfect pair! I love them both so much! Lost in Translation is just to use everyone's stupidity for entertainment, and I love the idea! 🧡
please do this… Transtlated: Preheat oven to 4, 180 ° C in gas oven and 160 ° C in fan. Until soft sugar beds, but makeup. Add the egg once, beating well. Add 100 grams of melted chocolate. Add flour to the dough until soft, add milk. Put 12 muffins on the cake and weigh. Cook for 25 minutes or until the inserted toothpicks are clean. Place on the grid to dry completely. In the meantime, we decorate. Place a large sheet of dough in front of the work surface. Pour the melted chocolate. The blade expands very quickly. Since the villain is positioned but not completely stable, slide it over your head only with a sharp knife, then create a handle by pressing at a 45 ° angle. Heat the knife slightly if there are bad spools. Repeat steps 12 to 15. Remove the butter until it is knitted together. Add two tablespoons of water and in small portions add icing sugar until smooth. Pour the butter cream into a bowl, at the end drill 1.5 cm holes and mark each cake stove. Chocolate chip lid. Original: Preheat the oven to gas 4, 180°C, fan 160°C. Beat together the butter and sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time, and beat well between each. Stir through the 100g melted chocolate. Fold in the flour until the mixture is smooth then stir through the milk.Put 12 cupcake cases in a muffin tin and divide the mix evenly between them. Bake for 25 mins or until a cocktail stick comes out clean. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Meanwhile, make the decoration. Put a large baking tray upside-down on a work surface. Pour over the melted chocolate. Spread very thinly with a palette knife. Once the chocolate is just set but not completely hard, carefully push a large, sharp knife into the surface, then push away from you at a 45° angle to form a curl. Warm the knife slightly if the curls are too brittle. Repeat to make 12-15. For the buttercream, use an electric whisk to beat the butter until smooth. Add 2 tbsp water and gradually whisk in the icing sugar, in small batches, until smooth and spreadable. Put the buttercream in a piping bag, snip a 1½ cm hole in the end, then pipe a swirl on the top of each cake. Top with the chocolate curls.
omg omg jasmineee ily ur like so cool and i just love these lost in translation episodes!!! Please tell me you're going to make more episodes after the season ends.
I love this series so much haha it's so entertaining and funny and innovative!! I really hope it stays a thing, I literally subscribed to this channel just cause of it !! y'all are the best! 🥳🤗😍💖👌🙌
A Korean recipe!! Thank u Tasty!!!😘 tbh I've never actually seen that cake in 17.5 years of my whole life🤣 but really familiar with those biscuit sticks tho!
These are so much fun! Love them!! But please slow down when you show the real instructions so we have time to read them. It's fun to see how close (or far!) she is.
I legit thought Katie gave me strawberry king king again but with different translations 😂
Hi
Hahah strawberry king king is one of my faves of lost in translation
I mean you aren't wrong, I was thinking the same thing😂
Hello
Haha! I thought so too xD
I actually think Jasmine is getting better at this, at least as “better” as you possibly can with deciphering jumbled recipes. I did not get pesto = pistachios, my brain went back to the jam.
My brain always feels like mush after we film 😂
i thought PRESTO! like yay this step is done! lol
And Katie laughed because Jasmine got it so quickly. I legit thought pesto was mint (pesto -> basil -> mint).
And for this reason I think they should give her a recipe that doesn’t actually make anything… just put random words and see what happens
@@chihuahua0965 That's what I thought too!
At the end of this, you gals could put out a cookbook of the re-imagined recipes. I love this series.
Yes! This is a great idea. They could also put behind-the-scenes stuff and commentaries and such.
That’s an awesome idea!!!! A cookbook that dinners as a game book!!
Definitely! Cat papyrus is a bit of work, but it does look good. And how could any guest not love a cake that's called "cat papyrus"? 😄
Jasmine: "yes!"
Everyone: "NO!!!"
Fun. As always!
When you say "YES!" I say "NOOO!!" When you say "Stop!" All I wanna do is Go, go, go!
reminds me of say no to this
Jasmine: hole ➡️ dip ➡️ valley ➡️ peak
Jasmine: water ➡️ glass ➡️ drink ➡️ straw ➡️ strawberries
WOW! She is so good at this! 😆
This translation series is my favorite so I’m so happy this will now be a weekly thing! I’m currently learning Japanese and Korean I love seeing how words can be misinterpreted in these languages 😅

Must be very delicous 😍😍
noice.

This episode was amazing, and now I wanna make "Cat Papyrus"!
(also, Katie's "No one's gonna save you" absolutely killed me)
I love how even though Jasmine doesn’t get it totally correct it always comes out tasty!!

Amazing as always! Keep it up!!! So happy this is a series now! I could watch this every day!
I kept saying” I think Jasmine broke”. But the gold was a nice touch. Cat Papyrus is just as beautiful as Strawberry King King.
Whoever came up with the idea for this series is a genius! So entertaining 😀
I don't know who edited the video but it was SO funny! Great job, I love this series!
I died at Katie’s facial expressions at 7:10

This is such an awesome series! I can’t wait for the next episode. 😀

Ah yes. Strawberry King King. My first episode with this series XD
The number of green ticks Jasmine gets ✔️✔️✔️
Of course, she's the topper. We all know ❤️ 😁
Fiyyyaaaa 🔥🔥🔥
Please have Jasmine cook Kare-Kare. It is a beef stew in peanut sauce. :)
Love this so much 💕💕
7:09 I love her expression😆
I wish they had a side by side or another portion of the video where they show how the recipe is actually supposed to be made.
Jasmine's eccentric eating methods are gold!!
I love how even when the recipe doesn’t turn out correct, it’s still delicious!
Been loving the edit text since they first appeared, so funny XD
I love this series so much haha it's so entertaining and funny and innovative!! I really hope it stays a thing, I literally subscribed to this channel just cause of it !! y'all are the best! 🥳🤗😍💖👌🙌
I am amazed how everything you make, although wrong, still turns out delicious 😭
A new episode finallllllyyyyy I am so happy
A Korean recipe!! Thank u Tasty!!!😘 tbh I've never actually seen that cake in 17.5 years of my whole life🤣 but really familiar with those biscuit sticks tho!
Jasmin has become better at understanding google translate logic. Good job.
I sure hope at some point there is going to be a cookbook with all these crazy recipes...I do mean the crazy ones though! :D
Why is this concept so hilarious? Why is she so hilarious about it... Why i didn't know about it until now? 😂😂
Cat papyrus looks good! We need a recipe of the new creations Jasmine made!
I love this video so much😂
I love jasmine saying BEAN!!! and Katie giving here the look
❤️❤️❤️
Do you guys post the original recipe anywhere? I would love to make the pepero cake! Looks delicious
Honestly think the one Jasmine made didn’t look too bad either 😂 That’s something for being off from the actual thing haha
I need more of this series
Somehow Jasmine's train of thought tends to work out and I'm always impressed :D
I actually do this ( 0:12 ) whenever I copy in writing I just translate it multiple times and paste it :)
Poor Jasmine! 😆thought i love her enthusiasm!
These are so much fun! Love them!!
But please slow down when you show the real instructions so we have time to read them. It's fun to see how close (or far!) she is.
Maybe you can make Croatian "čupavci" they are so delicious
What a masterpiece recipe. I liked it very much!😍😍😍👍😍
Papyrus - Paper - sheet - sheet tray!
That would have been LEGENDARY!
9:24 ITS BEEAKINNNNNG

this is the funniest series
When Katie said ‘are ready to see what it looks like?!’ I heard ‘are ya ready kidssssss?’
50 times? LOL
It wasn't this bad before the regular series 😂😂
"Cat papyrus" first thing i thought was the skeleton from undertale 💀
i think you are getting really good at this
Something i need to ask: can we get the recipes for all the jasmine version dishes
