Yay! He did it! He reviewed the X-ADV! Thank you very much for another one of your excellent videos in a language I can understand. I think this is the first extensive ride test in English that I have found on You Tube beyond a simple show-and-tell video.
On the 12V socket and 1 amp not being enough for a cell phone: cell phones charge at 5V, or 9V on the fast chargers. So, a power adapter for those lower voltages means there's more amps going out to the phone. Power (Watts) = Volts x Amps There's 12 Watts available (12V x 1A). Say you use a 9V power adapter, Amps = 12 / 9 = 1.3A, which maybe isn't enough. But if you use 5V then you get 12/5 = 2.4A which is more than enough to charge your phone.
Hi cager! You are one of my favourite yotubers, love your enthusiasm and sene of humour:) I watch your videos even when i'm not interested in the bike. Thanks to you Portugal is now on my to do list. It will be long ride from Norway. I do however get nervous sometimes when you ride fast. Please try to stay alive:)
I like your review videos because you actually test out the potential of the bikes (hard acceleration, braking and high speed cornering). Too many motovloggers out there who barely touch the throttle and don't properly test the brakes or suspension. I test rode a Kawasaki H2 SX a week ago, and went pretty hard on it. Not much point trying out a potential bike purchase or making bike review videos if you ride it like a Toyota Camry.
I've watched every single X-ADV video out there and yours is by far, THE BEST! I just sold my 2012 R1200GS and ordered a 2020 X-ADV. I have no doubts it'll be an awesome bike. There are even people selling their T-Max for one of these, so I know this must be the right path. Thanks Cager ;)
Are you still happy with it after having a GS? I watched a video saying it is difficult to mount/dismount?Especially important for me at around 5'8". Thoughts appreciated :)
Thank you cajer, I've been waiting for a proper review of this bike for six months or so having seen the machine at mcn motorcycle show in London. I am a nc700 integra owner so naturally im keen on the adventure scooter. I was put off by a chain drive but honda told believe small stones can get stuck in a belt drive so less reliable for off roading. True? Who knows? I watched your nc integra review and i do have fun on a 'smooter'. Thanks pal and good luck with emergrating planning. Or just stay in Portugal and work hard for more bike review videos as you are good at them and success will follow!
Bless my soul! I am so glad that not only this is the first review of this bike I have seen, but YOU were the one reviewing it! Your reviews are always extremely informative, great quality, fun, and absolutely as good as anyone could do one. You tell it like it is, and I thank you for that. And this review. Cool little scooter there! Not that I could call a 700+cc scooter "little" lol.
I only watched one other review of this bike, but i like your review of this bike better. You showed the options the bike has very well. I also like how you showed the power the bike has. Specially with the manual gear changer.
Love this review, price is commensurate with the product. That's a lot of engineering and technology applied. Can't get them in the US yet which is driving me crazy. I can picture a whole new business venture with a small fleet of these for weekend adventure tours. Come on Honda, time to bring them here.
As soon as I hired this in Madeira Portugal for five days I wanted to buy it. But I wanted style so went for the Forza 750. Traded in my BMW R1200RT. What I like about the manual mode is the you want in auto you’ve slowed down auto will change so it won’t labour the engine. I did a round trip London to Hinckley and back turn a nice 71 miles to the gallon. Also ordered the central locking top box. I absolutely Love it. Also later fitted the pair of side panniers. Did a trip to France Spain and Gibraltar then home through Madrid to Santander for the sailing to Portsmouth. 2200 miles over ten days minus two day in Reinosa waiting for the ferry. Never faulted me.
Thanks for the review. I've also seen your review of the Suzuki Burgman 650 scooter. Really interested to know, since you seemed to have liked both - How would you compare the two for 'rideability' (handling) ? Sounds like the Burgman is about 39 kg heavier, but it seems this one's wheelbase is about a cm longer, more or less the same then.
monck55 yep they've lost the plot it's £9599 otr plus admin from my local dealer.. I don't think I'll even bother taking one out for a test at that price..
Buy an Integra and try to mod it to this X-ADV spec parts. Let me know what the price difference was. I'm pretty sure the suspension alone would require more than a grand.
It's not slated to come to North America, but it's an interesting machine. It's price point is confusing so I wonder how well it will sell. Good review though. Thanks for posting.
Hi Cager, I always enjoy your reviews. I was curious about your tracers' fuel consumption. I was going to write mpg, but I suppose it's KPL over there haha. Thanks.
Excellent Video, and great review. When and or if, these become available in the USA I will own one. I am ready to buy one, Honda bring them to the USA.
Nice review mate. I'm going to buy maxi scooter in the future but still devided between jamaha t max or honda X adv. What's ure opinion l, wich one is more fun to drive?
Good review, as usual, Cager. I could see this replacing my awesome Suzuki V-Strom dl650 as the ideal city bike. I like thebuilt-in storage, the top box, and the easy-on, easy-off seating and foot placement. It looks like it does okay off-road, but it's no KLR. But then, how many city slickers go off-road? If it's like the 700 series, it should average 65-70 MPG. I am not liking the price, however. For about the same money you could be riding the Yamaha FJ-09 or even the Kaw 1000 Versys. Sell it to me for $9500, Honda.
You said 3 times "nifty" in this video, that's pretty nifty! 😄 It seems to be a cool scooter. As a biker, I would rather buy a beautiful motorcycle for the same price. But for the commuters who want a scooter and care about practical features, the X-ADV could be a nice alternative to a Yamaha TMax... Great review as usual, Cager!
Is it a scooter or an automatic motorbike ? What ever it is the Tmax has to go so I can get this ! Miss my Drz400 so this is Drz+Tmax rolled into one, perfect.
I considered changing my 2013 Burgman 650 for this one but the chain drive has put me off... Also, the price tag of 12,000 euros here in Brazil is too much for me.
Wish it was cheaper. I would love to have one to sit next to the arica twin lol. Also the "safe riding nazis" are going to come down on you hard for standing and riding with no hands on a scooter lol.
"Then it eventually decides that I'm being an idiot and brings it back to 4th again" I can't stop laughing! And this hint of disappointment in your voice. ;-) That's the cager I admire! Great review! Bike is quite interesting too, but rather expensive.
hehe hay man you sound funny, but cool tho, but you do know the Integra got a upgrade in 2016,would you mind reviewing it, to see what's new vs Honda X-ADV?just because here in au all I can get is the Integra, so would you mind?

This has got to be the best all purpose bike ever designed
Yay! He did it! He reviewed the X-ADV! Thank you very much for another one of your excellent videos in a language I can understand. I think this is the first extensive ride test in English that I have found on You Tube beyond a simple show-and-tell video.
By far the best scooter bike out there today.
You have to love that Honda is continuing to create new idea's and bring them to market
Thanks for not spoiling this video with a background music... as I prefer to enjoy the sound of the engine!
Pretty cool bike. I like how Honda come out with these different concepts like this and the Vultus.
On the 12V socket and 1 amp not being enough for a cell phone: cell phones charge at 5V, or 9V on the fast chargers. So, a power adapter for those lower voltages means there's more amps going out to the phone.

That is the coolest scooter I've ever seen. To bad Honda doesn't put a larger front tire and good inverted forks on the NC750X
Thanks for the bit of off road. Would be nice to see some more of that, some gravel too.
mate, that’s a brilliant review! Very well done. I am getting that bike tomorrow. looking forward

@@GJS-live absolutely. İts pure comfort, less hassle. A little less power but well enough

Specially with the manual gear changer.
Awesome as usual love the sound of exhaust note and your riding style great stream bud
Great reviews as always. Hope you are well and have a swift recovery. A true bike fan!
Best scooter and best scooter review I ever watched :D thanks, just remember, you're the boss, keep going.
Is not a scouter
Really great review of a terrific new bike type. I want one. Do you think it would cruise happily at 80mph?
So they couldn't put that spoked rim on the NC that they sort of advertise as a mini adventure bike? ehhhhh
The dream bike !!!!
Love this review, price is commensurate with the product. That's a lot of engineering and technology applied. Can't get them in the US yet which is driving me crazy. I can picture a whole new business venture with a small fleet of these for weekend adventure tours. Come on Honda, time to bring them here.
Amazingly capable bike. Incredible gearbox. This or a T-Max?
This is the best designed bike on the road today.
your opinion; many flaws in design
ed.Thai. Hansen please explain?
As soon as I hired this in Madeira Portugal for five days I wanted to buy it. But I wanted style so went for the Forza 750. Traded in my BMW R1200RT. Why you so surprised at the screen operation when you already showed us how it works?
Nice bike! I am very impressed. I hope it comes to the USA.
Thanks for the review. I've also seen your review of the Suzuki Burgman 650 scooter. Really interested to know, since you seemed to have liked both - How would you compare the two for 'rideability' (handling) ? You have previously done a review on a tmax 17. Personally, which would you pick? X-ADV or a TMax as a daily commuter?
man there are optional pegs to ride standing! with those you can press your knees into the front part of the saddle
In the UK it's £2172 more than the NC750X DCT and £2568 more than the NC750S DCT - way too much.
Looks even worse value when compared to the manual 750S, which is £3246 less.
monck55 yep they've lost the plot it's £9599 otr plus admin from my local dealer.. I don't think I'll even bother taking one out for a test at that price..
Buy an Integra and try to mod it to this X-ADV spec parts. Let me know what the price difference was. I'm pretty sure the suspension alone would require more than a grand.
Yeah in australia they wanted 18k for this and we all laughed and honda didnt bring it in, LOL.
monck55 lol in my country CB500X + CB650F= X-ADV
Great detailed review
how do you compare it with NC750x?
Awesome! would love to see a little smaller X-ADV with lets say 400cc and a smaller price tag. Also to be legal for EU A2 license.
With 85 horses and a luxury seat, it would be a perfect tourer two up, and a fun dayli commuter.
AWESOME REVIEW! Now I want one for myself!
In a test drive in Spain by the Honda group the ADV accompanied the Africa Twin on a trail and it was not easy.
It's not slated to come to North America, but it's an interesting machine. It's price point is confusing so I wonder how well it will sell. Good review though. Thanks for posting.
They could have put that screen on the nc750x
Hi Cager, I always enjoy your reviews. I was curious about your tracers' fuel consumption. I was going to write mpg, but I suppose it's KPL over there haha. Thanks.
Excellent Video, and great review.
When and or if, these become available in the USA I will own one. I am ready to buy one, Honda bring them to the USA.
Great video . Very educational and entertainment. Best l have viewed
Nice! Probably won't be for sale in the U.S., though. We also don't get the Integra.
Best looking and riding motor scooter period.
wow its fast! great acceleration too
I like your videos wish you were in America testing bikes.
Where’s the rear break? Maybe it’s the gear lever as you put it?
I just gonna wait and save money for it when they have a refresh of the 750adv with tft display
How does the leg shield work? Like the TMax?
Wow, it's like Africa Twin in scooter skin. I'm 197 cm tall, does it fit me?
Africa Twin combined with a Grom. Perfect.
I really love this motor 😍😍
Nice review mate. I'm going to buy maxi scooter in the future but still devided between jamaha t max or honda X adv. What's ure opinion l, wich one is more fun to drive?

Boas Cager, já viste a nova CB650f?
for a longer bike; why less under seat storage ? Is there 3rd party posts for external helmet hanging ?
Nice review where's the road ?
Missing your video reviews, hope you are healing well. Stick to road riding I say!
Great review as always, amigo. (Now in Portuguese)Não via a Lagoa Azul há uns anos valentes!
Keep the good work!
As an adventure bike, what do you think of it’s touring ability/highway riding?
Is it a scooter or an automatic motorbike ? What ever it is the Tmax has to go so I can get this ! Miss my Drz400 so this is Drz+Tmax rolled into one, perfect.
Other manufacturers making maxi scooter should use 6 speed auto gearbox like this Honda..Rims should be standard 16 inch for both
The pricing is ridiculous. I know part of that is Brexit and the fall in the pound, but it simply will not sell at these prices.
it's more expensive in france, and there's no brexit there afaik
It's nearly £11,000 in Thailand thanks to Brexit, but I'm having one soon anyway. Life's too short to worry about a couple of g's here and there....
Cager pls do a review on nc750x dct version and see any differences between these two bikes
So they couldn't put that spoked rim on the NC that they sort of advertise as a mini adventure bike?
In comparison to the new nc750x which one is better. I am having problems with my left wrist so looking at the dct options rather than cvt .
Which is a better commuter Nc750X or X-ADV?
Great video, loved the bike but to expensive in my opinion
How do you compare it with the integra? I want to ride it with two passengers and I just can't decide between both.
Is there an alternate gas guage with your LCD panel goes out !
Is there any news about x-adv production road map with smaller engine versions such as 300cc ,400cc options in the near future?
nice machine, but sooooooo expensive 😥
@Rich Pipia I'm sure not in Spain :P
I know that they are two different scooters, but for someone who does mainly commuting, is this better or the tmax?
test ride them! Though I wouldn't recommend to spend so much money only for commuting..
Nudge D I prefer a 125cc scooter for daily commute. This one is for weekend getaway.
I considered changing my 2013 Burgman 650 for this one but the chain drive has put me off...
Also, the price tag of 12,000 euros here in Brazil is too much for me.
Ok... Small rant: 12vdc + 1amp implica 2,4amp aos 5vdc, que chega bem par a carregar um telemóvel em navegação ;)
should have option for full size-width front shield; as shown here is not very protective.
Where is that filmed at.
Wish it was cheaper. I would love to have one to sit next to the arica twin lol.
Also the "safe riding nazis" are going to come down on you hard for standing and riding with no hands on a scooter lol.
nice machine but too expensive... would be good and a 300cc version and a lighter maybe version? 238 kg??
Good job sir.
Amazing review 👌
Esta será um substituto da tua quando te reformares ou nao tem que chegue pra ti? Eu smp que penso na reforma penso na mp3 500 ou uma trike
wow so you get tubeless tyres and a power socket but honda can't do that on there flagship adventure bike the africa twin
Alan Wright I'm surprised they've not fitted cruise control to the X-ADV too 😉🤔
tubeless tyres on a dirt biased ADV bike? Are you a special kind of stupid?
Why Honda couldn’t you sell these in Australia???
"Then it eventually decides that I'm being an idiot and brings it back to 4th again" I can't stop laughing! And this hint of disappointment in your voice. ;-) That's the cager I admire! Great review! Bike is quite interesting too, but rather expensive.
is there sufficient leg; foot room for tall people;. The forza 300 and x max are way too small-short.
Slip of the tongue at 1.27? No gear lever bro, front and rear brake levers only..
Please tell us about the engine design?
what is the price of the bike? Is it available in India?
9:35 - eleven hundred thousand euros is 1,1 million euros... :) a bargain if you ask me... :D

Greetings from S.Korea. Please review Honda CB1100RS. and compare it to the CB1100ex you reviewed a few years ago.
MrKiddo just review it today. As for me, it has too loud click at gears changing.
What happens when you're driving and you accidentally dropped the key?
hehe hay man you sound funny, but cool tho, but you do know the Integra got a upgrade in 2016,would you mind reviewing it, to see what's new vs Honda X-ADV?just because here in au all I can get is the Integra, so would you mind?
Can you please review Yamaha WRX125?
Any word if USA will get these ?
Quando te ouvi, pelo sotaque achei que eras russo hahaha. Só descobri de onde eras quando percebi que estavas em Portugal.
i like that "scooter". but the price!!!! ouch.
Is it a scooter or an automatic motorbike ? What ever it is the Tmax has to go so I can get this ! Miss my Drz400 so this is Drz+Tmax rolled into one, perfect.
yes .Not far from the T max price that is loaded.
Right a forza 400 under 200,000 baht would be a seller. Even 250,000 baht wold take the market.
It needs the adventure footpegs to stand up comfortably 😊👍🏻
Hhhhhh. Cager long long time i did nit see ur chanel . Are u still alife?
It doesn't make sense that the Honda Integra scooter has bigger wheels than the X- ADV considering the X adv is supposed to be the adventure model
I do not really like Scooter type motorcycles. But of all the scooters when the age does not allow me more to roll in a conventional Moto, I buy one like this in the genre.
