Port Orford, Oregon. I can’t tell you what it was like to see a Bigfoot, a monster in my mind, face to face and only several or so feet away. But, I did, and here is what happened.
Port Orford, it is a small town I guess you’d say along the Oregon Coast Highway. So small in fact, the wife and I passed it and did not realize it for about 10 minutes just south of it on our trip.
But, we turned around and headed back to where we’d be staying for a couple nights at a little vacation rental. Funny thing was, Bigfoot apparently had reservations too!
Here are some true accounts and some Bigfoot stories from the PacWest! All of these stories are based on true accounts by the way. Many are real accounts shared by people for the first time on the PacWest Bigfoot blog, and here only. If you have a real account and would like to share your story please get hold of me here and let’s get your story out there…

Years ago, I happened to talk to 2 retired train engineers, who drove trains for many years in the pac north west. They told me that on some of the routes the tracks go quite a bit into the woods, away from towns. Long story short, on several occasions they saw these things. A couple of times, they were standing quite close to the tracks. There was just something about the way how they narrated the story, it sounded authentic. After all, what do they have to gain by telling a story like this to a stranger, ?

My father was a train engineer for MoPac many years ago. He used to tell me about the "boogers" they would see in the bottoms in So. IL and So. Mo.
He said sometimes they would be running on all fours and sometimes on two.
Wish I could have rode with him and got to see them

Having been born and raised in Bandon and grew up camping up all the rivers between Bandon and Port Orford...the area is absolutely squatchy. I've heard of many encounters and had a few of my own. Thanks for the story Dave!! Btw...did you mean Langlois?? It's pronounced Lang-Loyce.

Love these narrations david, plus the stories behind them, I've never had a bigfoot encounter but have had supernatural encounters. I would love to see a sasquatch and have my own encounter, I am so into sasquatch and the mystique behind all the sightings over the years, there have been some awesome videos and pics of sightings and I seriously am in awe with this subject, keep u the excellent work and as long as there are stories, sightings and videos I will always listen to you and wish for my own sighting one day so I can share on your channel.
      I'm not just a believer, I know

I live in coquille and hunt those woods and I'll tell you right now I've seen huge tracks that look human. Ain't no bear cause I know, because I hunt bear. But the weirdest thing that happened to me was I was fishing 12 miles up the elk river w my 105lbs german shepherd that is not afraid of anything. He runs up to bears and sea lions. All of a sudden he tailed down and started barking and ran back to the truck, stopping to run back and make sure I was coming. Had a strange feeling. Got back to my truck and left. I fish that spot still and my dog has never done it since. That river is just north about 10 miles outside port orford Oregon

I had to giggle this morning. I was doing a couple things and keying in on 'bigfoot stories' I wasn't sure I had Pacwest until I heard "Let me get a sip of Bigfoot coffee." And I knew I had the right channel!
    Sip on!

I love how well you re-enact other people's encounters, David. You are such a good story teller. Every since I found your channel on UA-cam, I've been watching a few videos at a time. In one video you mentioned that some people had a problem with you clearing your throat. I have bad allergies and clear my throat in the same manner as you do, even though I've got medication for my allergies. It is kind of you to try and appease those that find it annoying, but you will never be able to please everyone all the time. People always seem to look for things to complain about. The downside of human nature. My advice to you is to just be yourself. God bless you and your family. ❤🙏

It's always interesting how the very young have not learnt to be petrified at things in the world. You hear story's 2-4 yr olds lost show up 3 days later not hurt but say the bear took care of them. Not saying all bigfoot have compassion but like people there are different personalities.

You are six hours north of my new location in NorCal. Oregon has its social problems I'm told but Bigfoot encounters can be both frightening and/or exciting. Have heard several stories this weekend, one person believes they understand English although they can't be understood by our natural ear.

My dad was born and bred in Port Orford and told us( his five children) many stories of how his uncle would take him hunting. ( in the 1930 and early 1940's) He encountered a large bear like creature on one hunt, which scared him.
