Also the way Ada tried to treat him the same like in RE2, constantly trying to flirt with him only to find that he actually rejects her now and become distrustful with her because of her past betrayal caught her off guard and leaving her slightly shocked and disappointed. Now it's not only Leon chasing after her with Ada constantly leaving him after teasing him. Now Ada would need to put some serious consideration in her attitude towards Leon, wether to follow her heart or not. The dynamics makes much more sense now and very realistic. This ship needs to either sail or sink completely.
The Leon "simping" is greatly exaggerated. It's pretty much only present in RE6 where it comes across more like he's overcompensating for having lost so many people and just doesn't want to add Ada to that list. He and Ada have always had their own goals and missions independent of each other. He's not constantly chasing her in RE4 or Damnation. To say nothing of how Ada doesn't even appear in Darkside Chronicles and Infinite Darkness. Even his attitude towards her in the remake isn't that different from the original.
Since they did RE2, RE3, and now RE4 Remake it makes sense for them to continue the numbered titles, it seems that it’s gonna happen in the future, hopefully make it more horror and less action!
That would be awesome but I have a feeling they won't be coming back to that one. RE6 is for a certain group of people I feel like (people like me), and the people who hate that game are louder than the people who liked it. It wasn't perfect but i do love the character cross overs and all. Also Sherry and Jake are one of my favorite RE couples
Resi 6 is SUCH a product of it's time in terms of structure. I genuinely think that game is beyond translation into the remake's style. But you never know. I'm not optimistic though, considering how 3 went.
Same here. I don't think anyone disagrees that RE2's is objectively better, but the new voice actress sounds fresh and unique. Kinda doubt she'll want to come back for another Resident Evil game after so much "fan" harassment though :( She sounds flat and monotone now, but with some more enthusiam in her delivery her voice could have way more personality than the usual "hot girl" voice so many characters already have
I see that they made their relationship not only more complicated, but also realistic. Ada is a spy and uses and manipulates and lies to others, even if she clearly has feelings for Leon. Leon's coldness is played understandable since she's so hard to read and understand. Even if I truly want something for the two of them, Now I just think it really won't ever come to pass, even if a part of the two of them want something to happen between them.
Ada is always trying to put a barricade around Leon with their every interaction in the remake. 😂 She legit offered the "Greeting" that Leon wants if he abandons Ashley.
Why would he give up the mission of saving the president's daughter for some Chinese cunt? Man would be turning into a pussy slave. I'm aware it would be more than that, since Ada's invitation was for Leon to start working for Wesker. Leon isn't a beta, though. He doesn't go after, he's gone after.
You know what is a shame? that the girl that played Ada in this remake had to close her Instagram account due to all the hate she is getting. Honestly it was not bad at all. Fun fact: the people that shit talk and criticize on social media, are the most unhappy people with their lives.
I hate that, people complain over one voice, yet the actress tried so much and did alot of voice in this remake, same with Nick and others, people are just so ungrateful! "Oh My GoD, hEr VoIcE iS aWfUl" "OMG WHERES HER RED DRESS" "OMG WHERES THE OTHER ACTRESS" and other crap, like they are so ungrateful
People can complain but taking it out on the actor who felt nothing but joy and excitement when playing the role is disgusting. Talk about turning their joy into ashes in their mouths. People can rant over in UA-cam or reddit how they hated the voice but leave the actor alone.

Agree. Ada's sultry voice is what makes her a unique and iconic character. Plus, deception is one of her best skills in her job as a spy. Hearing her sound like this in the remake makes her less convincing and less confident. Capcom botched Ada's voice to the core. I hope they bring back Courtenay or Jolene in the future remakes Ada's going to be featured in.
I haven't heard Ada's voice before, and this game's is my first. So when I heard that Gao's version is hated by many people, I was surprised because I very liked her voice as an Ada's.
Yeah they used the actress from Welcome To Raccoon City, probably an affirmative action thing since the original VA wasn't Asian. I miss the old voice.
@@Anthony-fu6cl I wish they had not changed the actress, I'm Asian and I don't mind Asian characters being voiced by non-Asian actors at all, it's just voice, shouldn't be determined by racial factors whatsoever. @@Gemini053 ikr ? If is the Ada we knew, maybe after their conversation “very smooth, Leon” , then a quick backflip kick(not the stupid slomo one ) and disarm him by surprise, there everyone’s happy.
I think that was a logical decision of Capcom to changed the outfit of Ada in the Remake, because its actually weird that she was wearing a red dress for her mission in the original game, as this kind of wearing is impractical for combat, as it can limits your movements.
Same, to this day, I still think it's weird for Ada to wear that dress in the og RE4. I get that it became an iconic look for her but it's not like she's undercover and meeting Salazar or Saddler, in a formal way anyway.
@@AlexanderMartinez-kd7cz One looks like she's competing against Lara Croft's Anniversary dress. The other looks like a cumbersome oversized thermal (like I said). Even though the latter seems more appropriate with her mission, they could've given her a glorious virgin killer sweater if they didn't want the dress
I think they did a pretty decent job with the game. Some things I would have loved for them to include were the ganado chasing Ashley and Leon into the castle, Ada saving Leon from Krauser, Leon inadvertently attacking Ada because of the parasite, the boss fight where Leon fights the worm scythe thing and the train cars fall one by one, and a little more Saddler screen time. I also wanted to see the scene where Salazar dumps Leon into the pit, and Leon shoots the bell deafening his ear. 😂
I will say I like the visual of this ada in the remake. The only thing that sucks is the voice. Also I'm pretty sad we didn't get seperate ways. I was really looking forward to playing ada's story in the remake
Indeed, pretty sure the dlc will be expensive af They mentioned that it will not be included in the game but a dlc Bruhh it should be part of the unlockables
I don't even like the visual of this ada, she feels like an Asian woman stereotype with that look, and they changed the red dress for sweater, shes already wearing red, changing to sweater won't do much good in practicality
That Ada Vs Leon fight felt so lame compared to the original lol I guess theyre aiming for more realism but personally wished Leon wouldve at least disarmed her and empty her handgun like the original.

He's mad at her and doesn't trust her. Hence asking if she had changed or is just trying to use him again. This is appropriate and more realistic considering how naive he was in re2. He's been through a lot in 6 years so his mentality is different, and Ada represents a potential threat now. This time around he doesn't realize she's telling him to leave for his own safety. Not because of the zombie-threat but because Wesker knows he's there and doesn't like it since Leon works for the government and is a threat to his goal. Her interaction with Wesker on the phone, referring to Leon as "predictable" and "a good boy", was an attempt to make him seem non-threatening to Wesker so Wesker doesn't try to go after him (aka tell Ada to kill him). She's very protective of Leon and is always watching his back. The voice acting isn't nuanced enough to deliver what Ada is actually doing, too monotone. And i think this is why everyone prefers the voice acting in 2. The only time you really see that she's jarred is when Leon begins transforming and she has to save him. But this logically makes more sense because a good spy is hard to read. So the chemistry is there and they do care about eachother, but Leon has grown up and their dynamic has matured because her old tricks won't work. I'm curious to see, if they continue with the franchise, how they might focus on Leon rebuilding trust in her and restoring their connection considering she betrayed Wesker with Leon in mind.

I just want to see Chris punching that Boulder in RE5 Remake
That would be awesome but I have a feeling they won't be coming back to that one. RE6 is for a certain group of people I feel like (people like me), and the people who hate that game are louder than the people who liked it. It wasn't perfect but i do love the character cross overs and all. Also Sherry and Jake are one of my favorite RE couples
Resi 6 is SUCH a product of it's time in terms of structure. I genuinely think that game is beyond translation into the remake's style. But you never know. I'm not optimistic though, considering how 3 went.
I might be the only one that likes her new voice
Its not HORRIBLE, but I bet you would stil prefer the va from re2
Same here. I don't think anyone disagrees that RE2's is objectively better, but the new voice actress sounds fresh and unique. Kinda doubt she'll want to come back for another Resident Evil game after so much "fan" harassment though :(
She sounds flat and monotone now, but with some more enthusiam in her delivery her voice could have way more personality than the usual "hot girl" voice so many characters already have
Nah that voice is garbage

Her voice actress in this one is my favorite so far.
Many people did not like Ada's voice, but I found it very attractive. I think it suits her💞
I see that they made their relationship not only more complicated, but also realistic.

She legit offered the "Greeting" that Leon wants if he abandons Ashley.
She could still give him the "greeting" considering that Leon survived the whole events
It just shows that since the mission is dangerous she wants him to be safe and for her to say greeting means that she’s feeling Leon lmao!

I think that was a logical decision of Capcom to changed the outfit of Ada in the Remake, because its actually weird that she was wearing a red dress for her mission in the original game, as this kind of wearing is impractical for combat, as it can limits your movements.
