Nope. Reese may have not went into that play to hard foul Clark, but in that moment when she knew she didn't block it, she made damn sure that Clark got some before the play was over. It was a flagrant foul for a reason, an obvious reason. Can't fool me.

I get it, but there’s precedent to suspect it was intentional. Not saying I’m all the way there and I’m mostly leaning toward the idea that it wasn’t, however, if you’re going to do something like that, why not mask it behind an aggressive play on the ball? The whole idea that she would just undercut her is silly because then it wouldn’t be hidden and there would be obvious repercussions. Also, to echo what another UA-camr (a black guy BTW) said (paraphrasing): “I’ve never heard the term ‘basketball play’ in all my time watching the game and all of a sudden that term is everywhere.”
That's what a flagrant 1 is unintentionally fouling. And sports are much closer than it look. The ball was cloaer to reese when she started going up befpre she separated. It was a great play by Clark to make reese think she had a chance to block the shot. It wasnt nothing more than a basketball play

Even the championship title game won by LSU over Iowa was due to a reserve player who came off of LSU's bench and hit seven 3-pointers in a row - didn't miss one shot, to win the game. Yet, all of this talk about Angel and nobody even mentions the LSU player who actually contributed the most to win that game.
Angel's antics outweigh her basketball playing talents. Angel wasn't even the star player on that LSU championship team. Even now, Kamilla Cardosa is a much better and more efficient player than Angel, but it's Angel's antics that keep Angel being talked about more than Cardosa. Angel should not be considered over Cardosa for any spot.
