Why do you want 2A draw? It's a cooler, not a freezer. If you get more amperage, the cold side will get hot because the heat sinks and fans were set up for low voltage and amperage. The ONLY way to have this work with 2A @ 5v draw is to remove the fans, heat sinks, and add bigger fans and heat sink... just order 1 large heat sink,1 or 2 TEC ceramic plates, and a thick aluminum plate to sandwich it all together = same price, more cooling, ugly design that will draw 9v - 15v/1A - 10A with an optional PWM.
That Screw Mount On Back Is Super Nice To Have. I Like To Use My Phone On Car On Window Mount And That Would Be A Nice Thing To Help Reduce The Heat Build Up In Phone When In Use. And You Could Probably Adapt That Screwount To A Controller Phone Mount So You Can Cool The Phone With It Mounted On A Controller While Gaming.
