Protip from my Aunt: You can wash anything in a washing machine on the gentle setting with cold water. If you're extra worried you can throw it in a pillow case or delicates bag. I've never had to handwash anything I've made. Also, don't use fabric softener, it wears things down faster! Still gotta dry it flat though, lol.

Thank you so much for the tip! I have tons of those delicate washing bags and I'll try it on the cotton now. Whatever I make it into. I can handle the laying flat to dry

@@TheStitchWitchPodcast Different materials may still react differently! double check the washing instructions, try making a sacrifice swatch using some scrap material first if you're not sure, or are very worried about how it could react!

Oooo that rave yarn though!! I'm seriously considering starting a blanket with that stuff because WOW the pink and green really bring me back to my scene days back in ye olden times! I used to have pink and black striped vans slip ons with slime green soles and i LOVED them LOL
I mean they killed it with these colors! They really went for it and it worked. The more we chat about the yarn the more I want to start a blanket now. The colors would just play out perfectly
I would love to see a bucket hat out of the t shirt yarn !!! I feel it would hold much better shape than the usual acrylic or cotton basics 🎃🎃
It's totally on my list of makes now! Hopefully it's not too heavy at the end but absolutely the structure would hold.
I ran to Joanns Saturday and got 8 of the scene queen. I deconstructed it and put it together like an ombré ish. Made a crop Cardi. I’m in LovE with it. Have fun with it

FYI - ( from someone who is ocd and likes to do laundry and take care of my clothes to make them last) 😂 you can wash pretty much anything in the wash , as long as you use the gentle cycle for the fibers/ fabrics that are more delicate and also using cold water when in doubt. Cotton and acrylics can always be washed in washer just be mindful with the shrinkage of certain cottons.
Hope that helps, and hope you get more of that pretty yarn with no fear of the washing instructions, I personally don’t even look at them unless I’m unsure of a fiber I don’t use much or a blended fiber! Have a great day my sweet friend! 🤗💙🥰😘

I ordered 2 of the Scene Queen and 2 of the Electric Slime or whatever that was called. It got her quick and I love it. I was thinking a blanket , maybe a star granny type with both colors. But then I started thinking I might mix the green and black with some black and do that for a blanket. My grandson would love it. Decisions Decisions.

Great haul! I bought 3 of the green/black Rave. Excited to work it up when it gets here! I would love to see your take on a bucket hat, as I’m trying that out right now. That and a tote with the t-shirt yarn. Loved the vid!

I just used the lava lamp color to make a bucket hat and the variegation is PERFECT

My Joann’s does not have it in, and when I go on line they have a limit of THREE yarns per order. If I were you I would run back to that Joann’s and grab it!

I saw a video by another YTuber who loves Yarn re: the BT Rave & Prism.
Knew the yarn was going to be bright when it looked bright in the video but when you see it in person, it is a whole other level of bright above what the videos show, like you need sunglasses kinda bright.
I didn't care for how it felt, so didn't get any of the Rave. Did however come home with a ton of the Prism, as that yarn is so soft!
Thought of you when I saw the black/green combo. I love that color combo as well.
May go back & try a cake of the rave, time will tell.
Totally agree it just pops in person! Ok you've convinced me now I gotta try at least one of the Prism balls of yarn. The bright pink could be fun to hold some black yarn with in sort of a Monster High vibes
@@AltKnots I got the Cotton Candy Quartz and Tiger's Eye colors, as they were a few of the softer colors from the Prism line & they also spoke to me for some projects I have planned.

@@AltKnots alright, finished watching the movie and it’s the main balloon that’s yellow and orange. There are some Klowns with yellow hair and some with yellow suits. There’s a suit that looks a bit orange or peachy color with a yellow collar at the end scene when all the Klowns approach.

This is soooo random. What shampoo and conditioner do you use to help preserve your color. I just dyed my hair purple :)
Omg I loved having purple hair! Such a killer color. I change it up often but right now I'm using Biolage color last and it's working well.
Liked the video then saw it went to 667 so sadly had to unlike it to keep the 666 going. 😂

Sure thing! I really only cycle through 3 different designs but they've worked for me: solid single crochet, single crochet color work and fishnet market tote. I have them written down but haven't release yet. I'm sure there are amazing ones here on UA-cam already though
What are you doing with the t-shirt yarn. I still have a bunch from covid, I used them on straps for masks. More comfortable.....
I've used it for baskets.
So far I'm thinking a bucket hat and market bags. Who knows though once I get going I'm sure I'll think of more ideas 😅

I am so confused. The local grown cotton did you really read 100% acryllic on that? Is that even legal? Calling it cotton when it clearly isnt
100 percent my fault in saying acrylic. It is cotton through and through. Just made a mistake in reading the label. Thank you for letting me know
