I have the 265 and its power is very impressive, the spead of power along with the torque curve makes it pull everywhere with no flat spots, making it possible to short shift or rev it out, either way still pulls hard.
Wrong! Evo x made 300bhp for the BASIC FQ 300 model, then there was a 330bhp FQ330 and 360bhp FQ360 models, with the FQ440 delivering 440bhp. All have a superior AWD system with torque vectoring which is still today leagues ahead of anything that renault has ever developed. Remember this is an older car, yet still superior in many ways. A comparison with a straight line acceleration is slightly retarded. Times haven't moved very fast for Renault at all. For a brand new supposed performance car, 300bhp is positively pedestrian, not to mention its only FWD.

What If the mégane makes more HP than advertised? Plus the evo is much heavier, has 5 instead of 6 gears and more drivetrain loss...my Mégane does 100-200 kmh in the mid 13 sec range, which is very fast for a RS (normally around 15sec) so the Evos dyno run is realistic in fact...
