- This week I finally get to the little baggie in my drawer filled with awesome old Goblins! Spearhead might be a static game as far as the rules go, but that doesn't mean you can't use alternate models for your army. These old-school goblins do a lot to help this army stand out and they are some of my favorite Warhammer minis in my collection.

Probably one of your best videos ever. Goblins are obviously, to anyone with discerning tastes, the superior being.
Ah, those Gobbos look lovely, with a lot of personality! Some of my first WH-miniatures were those same multi-part plastic Night Goblins. Lots of fond memories painting and converting them. I still have lots of bits left over and still have a lot of use for them. Those broken bases have potential as stone rubble for ruins.
Surprised to see at 06:32 that the goblin has the metal arm of an old Temple Guard from the Lizardmen. It is suprisingly well scaled for those goblins :D
the scale and even the fingers are basically the same size, it's a neat conversion! (that I didn't do lol)
I really love those small goblins very goblin looking goblins.
With static gras you can raise it up after application with a rubber balloon! Just rub it against your hair or synthetic cloth, and hold it close to the model. It will raise the gras right up!
I just noticed the Mastodon t-shirt and it deserved a shout out! 🤘🏻

Fun video & great band shirt for Jinjer & Mastodon. If you want more fun goblins, look for the Warhammer Underworlds goblin box. Proof the fantasy sculptors of GW are getting to have more fun making minis, that box has such a fun to paint band of goblins & squigs.

Those goblins are super nice, really goofy and well done! I painted the wolf riders too. All of the goblins for underworlds are some of their best for sure!

At the moment I do exactly the same. Got the old box with dwarfs and goblins and from there with a bit 3D Printing. I got myself the spearhead for no cost extra.

I grabbed the gitz and some trees a few weeks back. Im halfway through those trees, but oh man, this makes me want to change gears and build out the gitz!

as much as i love the square bases, you where right to cut theme that way, I cutted myself pretty deep doing it with and exacto to save the base :/
and let's be honest, buying a square base is easier than having my tumb cute open and taking a month to heal :/
I have cut myself before doing the same thing, it's not great!!! New bases are pretty inexpensive on Amazon these days, so it's not as big of a deal as it used to be.

The static rules of Spearhead have my local club doing weird things with proxies in the best ways because WYSIWYG stops being a concern. We've got Kharadon Mechas vs Literal Garden Gnomes as two Sons of Behemat proxy armies lined up to fight!

Has anyone ever told you that your apron looks like Toothless from how to train your dragon?
My wife mentioned to me a few months ago that it looks like the cover of the Broadway musical Cats, which somehow feels much worse. I'll take the Toothless look any day over that lol.
Great video has me tempted to build a stormcast spearhead team from my skaventide box, just tempted 😅😅 oh great to see we have the same dry brush set.
The Skaventide box Stormcast models are sick, and apparently pretty fun in Spearhead. But don't let me tempt you too much lol. Those drybrushes are sweet for $20!!

Hey just to ask what did you use in the ultrasonic cleaner?
How do y'all get such a clear vibrant red? I try by base coating with white and doing red over that but it never seems to get to what I see people posting
You might need to shake what you have more before putting it on, or try a different brand maybe. Red should go down without much of an issue unless the paint has gone bad or separated. In this case, using Speed Paint or Contrast paint is great, red goes down very bright over white.
@@eBayMiniatureRescues I transferred mephiston red into a dropper with two ball bearings so I'm not sure separation is an issue. Is mephiston too dark maybe?
