@@ChrisEdwardsMagic I agree the ones from Barry over at BlackCatMagic are really good and he does a set in white with colour in the symbols and the dark set in grey. The marking system is brilliant and well hidden.
Very nice! My favourite ones are the Eclipse cards as well if I need a quick read for a matching routine and otherwise the ParaLabs PLF ESP cards for deceptiveness✌🏼
Your coverage is top-notch as you break it down in your inimitable style of cool - so easy on the ears & so clear in explanation - you are a gem in the mentalist's hand - Cheers Chris & shine on my friend ☀
Hi Chris, what a great overview and review of ESP cards. Your rating is right on target. I've been using ESP cards of one type or another over 50 years. As my eyes have matured (my polite way of saying become older) I have found Eclipse to be a real life saver. Thanks for all you do! Your friend in Magic and Mentalism, David
Ideal ESP cards should be easy to read (markings) yet difficult for the volunteer to spot. Plastic coated and white symbols on black back ground. A set should include some gaff cards.
This was really nice. I love ESP stuff. My favourites are the Tenyo Hyper ESP and the Vernet's. I really dislike the Spooky ESP set. They just look wrong for ESP effects. Too colourful and tacky. Ultimately I think it boils down to readability and included routines. I wanted to get the Eclipse set when they were on sale, but the shipping costs prevented me from buying them.
You can get eclipse from penguin with free shipping! They are worth the full price. You'll never look back. I just ordered a second set from the 1914 during black Friday. I ordered enough discounted stuff that the $15 shipping made sense.
I will try and throw some links up as soon as I can my friend. In the mean time, I got all of them from Penguin or Vanishing Inc aside from Black Cat Magic set and Occult which can be found on black cat magics website :)
Yeah I know what you mean. I think overall his name was attached to the entire kit and maybe he didn’t have a lot of input on the cards themselves I’m not sure. I feel like he probably uses a different set for himself personally.
Another great review. This channel is GOLD among review channels on UA-cam.
Thank you so much Thom I appreciate you my friend :)
Dude you would be the best wingman with all of these cool tricks!
Haha if only there wasn't such a distance :(
Wonderful review. Thank you for all of your hard work.
My pleasure thank you George :)
Great review as always Chris very helpful and tons of good info.
Thanks so much brother I appreciate that!!

Yeah man I love that set

Thank you so much David! I agree the eclipse are great.
Some really ESP Decks.👍😊👍😊
Thanks!!
Gracias por la explicación. Un abrazo
Muy buena explicación. Gracias
😮 maybe I missed it, but Tenyo ESP cards are my go to. The markings can be seen from a few feet away and even in darkness
You didn’t miss it! I’ve heard they are great, but I don’t have a set! :( every time I’ve tried to purchase they’ve been out of stock or unavailable.

I agree!
I know how to turn Bicycles into reader-backs easily. I typically buy blank faces and turn all of my stuff into reader-backs.
That's the way to go!!

@@ChrisEdwardsMagic Thanks. I may just do that.
Anytime my friend :)
The Bicycle cards are easy to mark. That is what I use.
Yeah 5 symbols would be an easy mark for sure
about Naked ESP, they have plastic one (ZENER), and card stock (Fully Naked)
Yes
Squid cards are a great twist on esp cards
Yeah I've been meaning to pick those up but forgot about them!
Do you have links to any of these decks.

Eclipse are the daddies
Haha yes I agree
HARD TO BELIEVE Peter Turner lent his name to those ESP cards--I feel the markings are too obvious and the translucent view ok, but obvious.
