This thought-provoking question leads us into a deep exploration of biblical anthropology, human dignity, and the Theology of the Body as taught by John Paul II. In this video, Christopher uncovers the profound significance of human sexuality, the original state of nakedness without shame, and the impact of sin on our perception of the body. When Christopher was making the point about being decent and putting on a robe when someone knocks on your door reminds me of a scene from the 1977 movie The Goodbye girl with Richard Dreyfuss. Richard Dreyfuss’s character is sitting in his room naked on his bed playing the guitar. The woman knocks on his door and asks him “if he’s decent?” and he says “yes.” When she walks in his room and realizes he’s naked she asks him “I thought you said you were decent?” And he responds “ I am decent but I also happen to be naked” That scene always made me laugh but now I’m reflecting on that scene in a different light. Thank You Christopher for your insight and for helping me to dive deeper and see the world through the lense of Theology of the Body!!!!

And on the other hand of that, I was watching Ghosts ( TV series) and this lady that lived back in the 1900's ( that died) had a painting done back then, ( she thought it was too salacious) and at which was still up in the attic of the present day house - and she was in fear of someone ( other ghosts) seeing it. And one the Ghost ( from later time period than her) unintentionally went by it ,and seeing it ,said: "Nice ankle @hore" and that's all it was. - Sometime I think the overarching puritanism of past is why we're in the sexual quandary we're in now - Richard Dreyfuss wasn't wrong - He was just naked - and being that in privacy of one's home?

Mr West Thank-you❤, I pray to Mama Mary the mediatrix of Grace, to give you as much Grace required to become a Saint. Sir The Theology of the Body is very tough to understand, thank you for explaining it, for breaking it down so that any normal person can understand. I ask through intersection of St John Paul II that your institute spread throughout the world and with the spreading of the knowledge of TOB ever mind is renewed. So we can see clearly what our Abba Father our God created us to be.

    1. Corinthians 12:22-23, I know that the traditional way of seeing this comes from the way it's written as a metaphor for the body of Christ. Pretty obvious seeing what it says but what if including that we see it in the context of what you said here. To me it always felt weird that a man who also in that same text seems to value everyone in the church body would call part of it shameful. Why would a prophet, a priest, someone who does acts of service etc be shameful if they're building the church of Christ? It is a metaphor of exactly this here. Paul knew that we are ashamed of our body parts and call being naked indecent. But is something really indecent in the eyes of God. I think that we should notice that God created human body beautiful and nothing to be ashamed of. To not repeat what you said I'm just going to say that the body itself isn't shameful. Our body parts aren't shameful, how we treat them can be shameful. I agree with you what you said in this video. How a person treats him/herself can be shameful but he or she is not shameful. God created you the way you are, society and sin have thought you to treat your body shamefully and be ashamed of something that was beautifully and wonderfully made.
