@@WeirdWolfGamesI watched that auspex tactics video too on stomp damage. I think the test results were based on a Mek always buffing hit and always pushing the button selecting sustained hits and pushing button for both strats because the hazardous only stacks twice so you never have to roll more than a 3 to save. Was a good game though, nice to see stompa survive so long, I thought he was a goner turn 1 😂
Only one warboss in the Ork army, love it! I detest how 10th Ed has become the character spam edition. Before watching your battle report I watched one where an Ork army had 5 warbosses in 2000 points 🙄. Now all you need is all the boyz 😜
Thanks fella! Generally (unless you’re Chris) we just try and play the models we like! There’s no joy painting a bunch of stuff you don’t really want to have out on the table, and more than 1 warboss they’d just fight each other!
Ah we can't love them all mate, but I think they're a great starter army due to the low investment and relatively small ruleset. Easy to learn, hard to master! I think they've struggled competitively recently quite a bit as really you can ignore them and play the movement game, and once you've taken out some utility pieces they get a bit stuck, but happy to hear people's pros and cons for the golden boys!
I main Custodes but have 2 other factions and what I can say about the golden boys is just cause they have saves of 2s, hit hard etc doesn't mean they're OP. They come in the flaw of being too "expensive" for points. They're slow and it's a real challenge to play around with points and being "optimal" in achieving a defensive/offensive list. have too much on the offensive side and you leave your home base open, have too many infantry bricks and you may not have anything to answer a monster/vehicle spam etc. The joy/annoyance I find in playing Custodes is finding "your" style in such a limited sandbox cause of the points. Also, they have been quite nerfed after Index and still trying to find a way to play them. It's hard because a model taking a wound hurts a lot given the limited amount of units you can field on the battlefield. It's like Ryu in Street Fighter, easy to learn hard to master. Can keep spamming those Hadouken and jump kicks but it's a struggle once you wanna start playing at a higher level or if you meet someone who knows how to get through your shenanigans.
like those Puppets of War Killa Kans
Some amazing stuff from that site. Someone mentioned ghostbuster orks at some point…
Almost cried when the stompa didn’t have a Mek buffing the hit 😢😢
Yep, we didn’t have a Mek… have fixed that issue now!

I really dont like Custodes, they are OP, they are pretty boring to play. Also this is chepest army possible... so it just too good in all regards.

They have the worst codex in 10th😂
Ahhh I don’t know, I think Generalissimo Chris will have some success with them on the channel!
