Love the unbuckled boot exercise; its very similar to how it feels on skinny and NNN boots - really feeling the foot; and this is perhaps the greatest benefit from tele to other sports, along with functional leg strength.
Yes, it is Perisher. Perisher has several telemark instructors on its books. When booking a lesson through Perisher, you'll need to add a comment to your booking to note telemark and they will assign a telemark instructor. Perisher supports the Australian Professional Snowsport Instructors (APSI) Inc and courses that APSI run separate to Perisher. APSI's skills development and qualification courses are great value for money, so it's worth checking the APSI website for their training programs. You don't need to intend to be an instructor to do a lower-level course and plenty of participants do the courses for skills development. Amazing value for money with personalised professional trainers, but the courses are limited to specific dates - otherwise private lesson is the go with Perisher. Tele-on.
@@nvrluki7608 I'm not sure about Falls and APSI are a little way off publishing their event calendar for Australia 2025. I think your best bet would be to join this Facebook group for telemark skiing in Australia. I think it's almost a one-stop-shop concerning telemark skiing down under. If you ask the question, I'm sure someone will respond positively. You might even get the attention of someone who would give you a lesson for free - fingers crossed. facebook.com/share/g/15UwSY36og/
