From a person that has watched jersey shore from s1-s6 and all the family vacation to this day ive never seen a better transformation than mike its crazy. I watched this interview for the first time and to know he tried heroin and came out the other side is crazy. Im from scotland and it seems the opiod addiction has just become scary in the USA. I dont understand why it is still prescribed by doctors for almost anything. Ive seen people/family addicted to painkillers with codein in the UK but small amounts in the pills the opiods in the US are crazy. I hope anyone reading this addict or not is doing okay and i am always a message away for anyone.

Been a Jersey Shore fan since day one and to see the changes from then to now with the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation reboot and for him, the cast, and MTV to allow us to see as viewers the transparency in their lives, see real stuff like with Ron and the cast, and to see this journey. Really, really am genuinely happy to see Mike's life turned around and for the way way better! I am so happy for him, Laurens, and his little Situations. So wise, so humble, and just a true inspiration for others. You're doing great Mike!

Recently watched jersey shore with my girl. Wasn’t into it when it was huge, but Mike is hands down my favorite. Guy is hilarious and you can tell even under the bad behavior dude has a good heart. Endless charisma this guy. Glad he’s clean.

My parents were Italian so I was brought up with a very structured life. . My daughter, however, loved watching Jersey Shore which I watched some episodes which really wasn’t my thing. However, my daughter gave me Mike’s book which I found The Situation to be amazing. Bravo. ❤🇨🇦🇮🇹
He was my favorite character on jersey.. because he went through exactly the same addiction I did, blasted thru tons of money, girls, and is a inspiration now. Good stuff. I hope in mid 2024 he's still good and married.

I totally get it .the disease is like tunnel vision recovery is a wonderful place to be..we got this Situation!!! I love it and it's hard work at times..big time, 10 yrs sober and 5 yrs clean!! Just keep it simple!! Be grateful..

His face has been so swollen and puffy these last few years and looks to be getting worse. With how red he is as well he honestly looks like a bloated alcoholic. I'll take his word on the sobriety though.

He wore the Versace shirt. That goes to show you, drugs aren't the cause of homelessness. He was negotiating million-dollar contracts while high on drugs. He is right also; the cast is everything for that show. His charisma is a lot of what was behind it all. Every attempt at a copycat was a flop, but these guys are still plowing on as family vacation now. I wonder if another group from NJ would even work. I kind of think it wouldn't because they would still be trying to live up to this standard.
He literally lost millions of dollars because of drugs and said he was late paying rent. Drugs absolutely cause homelessness just not in every situation.
