- Animation based on research from the Force Thirteen West Pacific Reanalysis Project of the 1900 typhoon season, using best estimates based on climatology and, where available, actual observations.
Two animations in one hour! Thank you F13!
Norway Mapping this was a feature in hurricane week so it’s just a reupload

"the rest of the track is unknown."
well, what could be the best estimate? (aside from the Guam landfall.)
Featuring Typhoon Twenty, the strongest December storm on record (it may have even been the strongest ever, but there are no evidences other than the 886 hPa reading, and that may or may not have been at peak).
My estimate is 200/886 - 215/885.
The pressure of the Guam typhoon (926mb measured in central Guam) may suggest it is a catagory 5
the Guam typhoon struck on 13 November, if that helps at all
Could you produce a source with that information, I'll bring it to Nathan's attention.
2:05 meanwhile, in Texas
The 1900 Galveston Hurricane occurs.
Major typhoons:
Eighteen: 155mph 926mb
Twenty: 190mph 886mb
That changed the future
Typhoon Two strengthen to a cat. 1 while making landfall. How did that happen
Rapid intensification, I presume.
Im pretty sure it was already over water and didnt weaken while making landfall. I also agree with mr green and purple.
4:39 RIP Hong Kong
us military reported a 160?
All weak typhoons, storms and depressions were tracked, but the only supertyphoon wasn't hahahhaha makes sense.
A lot of vids! MARATHON TIME!
