Brings back great memories of watching this finals live. Down 17 by the 3rd qtr, I remember I always had the believe that the Bulls still can come back which they did like many other times during their reign. Truly the greatest team with the greatest player in the greatest era of basketball!
AGREED. Back in 92 I wouldn't miss an nba game, especially tha-BULLS. TNT,TBS and WGN ( Chicago station, showed all the Bulls games ) showed so many nba games. Those were the good ole days of the league for me.
@@user-be7tc2bd6e yeah same, back in the 90s whenever got MJ's Bulls game on those channels, I'd watch them if didn't clash with my uni class schedules, sometimes with friends who are also MJ & Bulls fans, just great fun!
No, it is because MJ made six 3s in the first half of Game 1, which set the tone and was a finals record. The Bulls bench went big in the first minutes of the 4th quarter of Game 6 but the Blazers had more options during the series. MJ had to dominate the series with 35.8 pts while Drexler had 24.8 in order for Chicago to win. And he won Game 6 scoring 12 pts in the last 6 minutes, with only Pippen adding 5.
Pippen started the comeback with 4 bench players, and he also made that huge 3-pointer to tie the game. Jordan helped finish the game, no doubt, but Pippen was the catalyst that started the comeback.

@@paulusrumanouw3176 Those were the golden years for the Bulls back then winning all those nba chips and actual defense was played.
When they did play defense in the NBA 🤔 nowadays everybody jacking up three pointers
If LeBron's team made this kind of run with him on the bench during a Finals game, he would try to have the coach fired.
❤UNSTOPPABLE BULLS
Damn!! Portland blaming Drexler why they didn't draft MJ...
Pip is one of the clumsiness people I've ever watch play. He turns ballover all the time during his offensive attacks
Nah I believe whatever they say about pippen hating on Jordan my lord it was crucial watching the first quarter
A game where MJ conserved energy in case he had to take over the game!!!

Huge portions of this video is not there... Bulls went from 60 to 70 in the 4th...how? My memory isn't that good from those days.
They scored 10 points?
ESPN CLASSIC used to skip chunks of the games to fit designated air time

❤MJ
Lost four of these Blazers in the ensuing decades: Kevin Duckworth, Jerome Kersey, Cliff Robinson, Wayne Cooper
I didn't know this: RIP: To all these fallen men. Amen
@@user-be7tc2bd6e didn't either until doing personal research on 1990s major sports. All but Cooper never made it age-60. Sad.
@@spencergwin9454 Good research. They died kinda young tho.
@@user-be7tc2bd6e Wikipedia or whatever source one wishes to enlist has more details. I think most were some type of medical issue.
@@spencergwin9454 Medical issues ??? How unfortunate,no Bulls players have died from that era, very strange.
Was there any dought Jordan was going to knock both of those freethrows down at the end of the game!! 🐐
Jordan benched kek
Bulls bench went big here. Thats why that series always told as for game 1 perspective.

Why is there an NBA ad with Dirk and Lebron in 92?
ESPN Classic replayed this game back in 2006 that’s why you see Lebron & Dirk in an NBA ad
Wasn’t a lot of praising MJ how I expected. People was praising Pippin more on the court after they won
Okay…. 🤷🏾♂️
You smoking, my mom recorded almost every bulls game, people loved MJ more than any athlete ever during that time period
YEAH U TRIPPIN!
