Great Build cant wait for the next show This is Gona be a Monster Truck for sure. I like the use of the old mounts and the seat pan will clear once the tunnel is sorted. The wipers may be a streach but there are after market ones that may sort that out with the throw that the arms need to swing Great Job Cory !!!!!!!!!

I worked for an IHC dealership here in Australia in the 1960's. The Australian F1800 Loadstar were bogie drive (6x4) running V345 V8 petrol with manual gear box and 2 speed auxiliary box. They were excellent. International Harvester Australia introduced the F1800D Loadstar with a 6V53 Detroit and Allison automatic with bogie drive (6x4).
An excellent truck in both forms.

Great Video!!! Giving me lots of help and direction to take with our 1700 Loadstar. I have been on the fence about frame and motor swap. Now I’ll SOLD on doing that. Now to find an affordable Cummins in the Houston area, if that is even possible.

A separate comment on some Dodge diesel truck frames to keep it short. I didn't want to drive all the way out there but while searching Craigslist back in July of this year Columbia Missouri Craigslist the man offered me arrested truck for $750 bucks. He took the engine transmission out of it. I'm assuming a radiator and things like that too. You still had to complete axle and back. It wasn't what I was looking for but would have made a fine investment I think he got down to 450 on his last contact. He probably still has it if it still listed. On out towards Wichita Kansas and around that area I found a lot of Dodge trucks parts. Older truck mounts on 20-year-old Dodge pickups frames. Anyway out towards Indiana on down to Illinois Missouri Iowa I really didn't find anything and what I found wasn't worth buying. Just an idea in case you're local yard runs out of these frames. There's other places but realistically that's not too far from your approximate location. Arkansas I found quite a few Dodge trucks and a handful of diesel deleted frames. Just FYI

Great explanation. I'm glad that the in stretching out and show every last little cut. Just trying to get extra content for extra episodes or just because you want to show every detail. For whatever reason people decide to show every last little cut you chose to speed check show it. For no better choice awards. Frankly I think a lot of people would have a speed through with the 10 or 20 second skip if you did say show cutting of the floorboards. I just have the exact opposite opinion. Yes you can make alternative bonus footage. But the setup and time that all takes takes away your time to actually do the automotive work. Even if somebody else does the editing you still have to talk through it. Hope other folks understand that this is an explanation of where I cut while I cut. And you've seen people use a cutting wheel before so I've left that out. Not putting words in your mouth but that's how I see your explanation and I think it's great. My original thought was wow. But it isn't any different just a larger scale than dealing with a old 50s or 60s and even seventies pick up cab. Mount it onto a newer chassis and realigning the mounting points. With that being said bigger takes more work. I would invest in some oak 2x10 give or take a size in the lumber. And cut up and 2 ft long skids and that way you could slide it across your floor without hanging up on something in most cases. I would strongly encourage you to fabricate out of wooden block aluminum or even flat iron some kind of adapter for the foot or pistol where your body is sitting on your left so you have more meat to grab on to the cab with. Yeah you may never do a four-door cab again but you can probably use those adapters for other cabs. Also depends on how fancy you want to get. As far as making them adaptable. You could do a number of these cabs and that works out okay. But when you get to the one where it slips and falls messing up your machinery the cab or worse yet a person. So to my tech Sergeant that gave me two points and I lost soldier of the cycle by one and a half points, I learned my lesson. I left the door open when I went under the truck to do a repair when I was 18 22 years old. However old I was. I'm just giving acknowledgment do that man that he was right and it's something I've done on the farm growing up and nothing ever happened. I went on to a different MOS job skill in the army anyway. But hey the second best is good enough. Not! But I learned the first rate lesson in staying safe and I try to do that even yet today. Anyway just a little reasoning behind why I would say increase the size of the foot coverage supporting the cab. You obviously know that this should be done because you pointed it out how little it was sitting on there. One of the thing raising lower in the cab moving this moving that if somebody thinks about it that's a lot of work. Since you don't show those little details and it's not needed, it's easy to forget. I enjoyed the video
