@@stephaniemiller8493 The forgotten early pairing of Spader and Downey Jr. ! I watched Tuff Turf only a couple of years ago out of curiosity. Wow. Didn't realize that Spader looked so good back then. The shorter haircut suited him much more than thw long, poufy hair of Pretty in Pink and the shaggy 'do of Sex, Lies and Videotape. They made his head look bigget and his face fatter. Kim Richards' hair deserved its own title credits! Richards is merely the person attached to the star hair!
What about John Cusack? (ps: Keanu Reeves started in "Youngblood" (1986) with Rob Lowe and Patrick Swayze) 🙂 I was a big fan of Rob Lowe at the time and... I have been a die hard fan of Keanu Reeves ever since I saw him in this movie 😍. Thank you, Rob Lowe 🙏🏿👊🏿🧘🏿 :-) James Spader and Keanu Reeves started in "The Watcher" (2000) Loved it!!!! 💆🏿❤🧡💛
Not Brad Pack proper but they’re closely associated with the actors who were identified Brad Pack such as Eatevez, Lowe, McCarthy, Moore, Ringwald, Ally Sheedy, Judd Nelson and Anthony Michael Hall These are often confused as being part of Brad Pack they were NOT just because they acted with “Brad Packers” and featured in films that were released in the 80’s
@@theman2017incidentified… by New York magazine journalist David Blum… for me and as is also recognised as part of the trio of Brat Pack films along with St Elmo’s Fire & The Breakfast Club is The Outsiders…
He wasn't considered part of the Brat Pack but neither were a bunch of these actors like Tom Cruise. Stoltz DID star in the John Hughes film, the male centered version of Pretty in Pink: Some Kind of Wonderful. Lea Thompson was in that but neither she nor Mary Stuart Masterson nor Stoltz were ever lumped in with the otherd in the Brat Pack despite having starred in a Hughes film and having worked with various other Brat Packers.
Oh my Goodness, I love this channel. Growing up in the 80's and finding this channel is heaven lol. Thanks a lot for doing this, it never fails to raise a smile
He’s short though….when I saw him fall down the stairs beside me in a bar in BC, he was no more than 5’6”…..maybe shorter idk…..but, I’m 5’8” and I was much taller than him when they finally stood him upright LOL😂😂
Phoebe Cates was one as well. She reminds we of Jami Gertz. She plays a good preppie! Lol Tom Criose should have been nominated for Rain Man. He was good in that movie.
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH ♡ wished it would be even longer ^^ gonna rewatch it for sure! thank you for another great video ♡ can you do a video about michael j fox and his career in the 80s? Or boy groups and girl groups of the 80s-90s? Similar to your new kids of the block video? ^^
Good Picks for the video... Other Possibles ... Corey Hain & Feldman, River Pheonix will Smith 'Fresh Prince' all big young stars in the early-mid 80s up...
Mare was too busy being a brood mare! She was pregnant and gave birth to several children during the 80s and this interrupted her career obviously. It's surprising how she managed to keep her career going at the level she did considering all the babies and young kids she was raising. In fact, Mare was pregnant whilst filming St. Elmo's Fire. That's why she looks heavier, and I guess that helped her land the role since the character was meant to be overweight ( sounds ridiculous when you see her - she'd hardly br described as fat by today's standards). And you can see that her weight fluctuated a lot, in her films. It all corresponded to times when she was pregnant.
You could just do a video called iconic young actors of the 80s. Only a small group of actors were in the Brat Pack...mostly tied to John Hughes movies. Just my opinion as an 80s kid. 🤷♀️
Love it but but this 80s WAS NOT the “golden area” nor will it ever compete with the two silver screen and golden and bronze era of the turn of the century all the way to the late 1960s.
Amazing, Lea Thompson , Sean Penn , Mary Stuart Masterson , Jami Gertz , Charlie Sheen , James Spader, Robert Downey Jr all amazing jewish actors. Looks like Cruise is the only Scientologist.
Sheen is not Jewish, despite his claims (along with a bunch of other crazy 'tiger blood' things he's said). Despite his trying to save face being guilty of antisemitic comments, his supposedly Jewish mother (also mother of Emilio), is actually a very strict Southern Baptist - with no Jewish anywbere in her background. Just to set to account straight
James Spader also zero Jewish ancestry... Actually is majority of English, with small amounts of Scottish, French, Dutch, German, Swiss-German, Norwegian, Jersey Channel Islander, remote Welsh, Irish, and French Huguenot
Charlie Sheen sure did lose his f’ing mind when Chuck Lorre fired his ass…..what an arrogant but ignorant narcissist he turned out to be…..”I’m winning”??? Um, no dude, not so much LOL😂😂
James Spader is divine
He was so hot back then! My teenage memories just cannot lol
MOST fantastic hair, as a young man. SEXY as h ~ ~ ~ !!!
Forgot James spades in Tuff Turf. Great movie

Have you seen him lately?
Love this channel and the joy it brings us. Everything is so well made, thoughtful and fun.
Thank you so much, I am grateful to find people who love the 80s as much as me in this family.🎉🎉🎉

These are not Brat Packers. They are simply 80s movie stars
That's why it's called "brat pack too"
Hence, the term "Brat Pack "adjacent"
Not Brad Pack proper but they’re closely associated with the actors who were identified Brad Pack such as Eatevez, Lowe, McCarthy, Moore, Ringwald, Ally Sheedy, Judd Nelson and Anthony Michael Hall

Mmm I loved 80s

What about Eric Stolze. He was in some kind of wonderful. He also played Rockey Dennis in Mask. He may not be a brat pack, but was heck of an actor.

Demi Moore and I have share the same birthday, month, day and year! So, I'm an unofficial Brat Pack too! 🙂
Love ALL these great actors. They were the stuff of my formative years.
Thanks for great and entertaining video!
I never knew Sean Penn was in LHOTP, soo cool😎
Kiefer was absolutely gorgeous
He’s short though….when I saw him fall down the stairs beside me in a bar in BC, he was no more than 5’6”…..maybe shorter idk…..but, I’m 5’8” and I was much taller than him when they finally stood him upright LOL😂😂
I personally like it the most when Niles did the Risky dance, and CiCi walked in on him. Mr Sheffield, The Nanny, and children we're gone on vacay.
You seem to have forgot Tom in The Outsiders.
I know, it was hard to narrow some of these down. The outsiders was full of other great candidates. Swayze, Macchio and more. great ensemble
Phoebe Cates was one as well. She reminds we of Jami Gertz. She plays a good preppie! Lol

Where's Mare Winningham?
