- So I noticed my turtle was being a bit lethargic so I decided to show you how I give him a carrot soak! He's been eating normally and is now back to his normal self.

Idk what type of sorcery this is but my turtle was lethargic, had loss of appetite, swollen eyes etc and I had her sit in carrot juice for 30 min and literally all of that went away the same day! 👍👍👍 her appetite is somewhat better and she is active

Gonna try this on my red ear slider. I have two of them but only one has swollen eyes, not eating, and staying at the bottom of the tank. I have to constantly tap the tank to make sure he’s still alive. Hope this works so much

My yellow spotted river turtle haven't been pooping for a few days, and after trying this he pooped right away while doing the soak!

Yes it will..go to a rite aid and buy vitamin a gel pill n poke it with needle squeeze a drop into each eye n hopefully this helps
Mine refused to stay the whole 30 minutes. He did 10. But he seems more alert and his other eye opened. Thanks

So my turtle has been to the vet he got all his antibiotic shots for respiratory infection.. and he still is lethargic..he refuses to eat since I got him which is 2 months..I have tried everything possible to try and get him to eat.. how many times can I do this? Like once a week? Because I cant afford to go back to the vet..so I need to try another method to save this little guy

Please help me. My turtle kept opening and closing his mouth on the surface of the water to make bubbles and I found it very cute but these few days he keeps doing the same (opening and closing his mouth fast and too much) when his head is completely out of water. I have a baby snapper. She is not acting right. No signs of fungal infections. Her eyes are half closed and she doesn't move around as much as she should. Would this be worth a shot?
I would try a vet. I do know that carrot soaks are good for eye irritation though.
@@ChewysBro I did the carrot soak. She is naturally just really lazy I guess. I want her to eat something other than pellets but she won't eat night crawler worms or even deli meat as a treat. She just acts bizarre lol. Her eyes are wide open now btw.

@@ChewysBro 22° and my turtle never busks, but we take him outside on good enough days for him to harden his shell and soak up the vitamins he needs. The other day we had to evaluate due to an australian fire, i did put him in a random container i found in my dads car, my dad claims that there was only food in the container, i have a suspision something was in that container that made him ill or gave him an infection..

Thnx alot for the info I much needed it coz my adult size turtle has lost his appetite. I needed the recipe. Does this work for all the turtles who lost appetite, like tent turtle?
It might not always work and I have not tired this on other turtles. Double check your tanks temperature - I found that was also one of my issues

i hope this method cures my turtle.her left eye was swollen a few days ago and i only noticed it now.that was very irresponsible of me and i feel bad.her left eye now has an infection.her left eye is shut and her eye lid is wrinkled and yellowy.i really hope this method cures here.im verry worried rn😥😭🙏.
