Best part of this channel is it shows that the average guy can have lots of fun with out breaking the bank. And learn lots along the way.
That is a bullet proof quad. My dad dropped one through a pond in -20. The entire thing was 5 ft under water for four hours while they winched it out. Exactly as you said, he took the plug out, turned it over. It started and he rode it home. He changed the oil and kept it for another 5 years.
i live in florida and i sank it not super bad but i drained the airbox and turned it over until it started up
Who swam down to hook up the winch? -20°!?!? Hell naw... that thing would still be there if it was up to me to get it out...Lol!
My best friend had one of these bikes growing up (1988). It powered nearly all of our fun from about age 9 to 15. I don't think i'll ever encounter a more reliable machine.
I love you getting back to your roots. Do the same with sleds please!!!!
Very happy to see you go back to your roots, as fun as your new toys look its unrealistic for most people to afford. These type of videos are relatable and give us middle class folk a segment in the ATV world
i have a 1991 honda fourtrax 300 4x4 and man i will tell you they seem just bullet proof i love mine my grandpa bought it brand new back in the day and i have been riding it sense

My grandpa passed his '86 TRX350 to me last fall as he doesn't like riding anymore. It is such a great and solid bike. Interested to see what you do with yours.

Bought new in 92 still have it today just new rear differential. Been through some crazy stuff, stills runs great.
The new Honda also have no problem being sunk, as you said just like the old ones they blow the water right out, 90% of the can am guys I ride with cant do that, of course can ams are still pretty sick

I can actually say I am very excited for this series! I've wanted an ATV for a long time. Finally just bought my first one and it's an older Polaris similar to this one. I'm an Automotive Technician so I know my way around a vehicle, but am quite the Novice, at best, when it comes to ATVs and the like.

Are you just using a gas shock from bronco on the fourtrax 300? I looked in the application tab and the 300 doesn’t show
Ooooo can't wait to see what goes on. Love the sled mods especially but changing it up for the off season although I ride quads. Used to ride bikes and wanna really get into sleds. Got my wife a Zr580 for a start and I got an Arctic cat Z1-1100 Turbo for the trails and last year I got a 05 Polaris RMK900. I know you deal with ski doo and Polaris. Any tips you can give me? The Polaris needs a top end which I can do at home.
Do you have a parts number or where I can find that longer bronco rear shock? I’m interested in it

Can you tell us, how much is the cost for all parts roughly?
If you sink it, you don't even have to pull the plug. There's a decompression valve by the front of the cylinder on the rear brake side. If it hydrolocks you can flip that valve, turn it over and it'll blow the water out the exhaust and it'll crank in seconds

last fall I put a set of those gun clamps on my trike, second ride rolled er and snapped em off

I miss my '95 Honda 300
It towed 2000lbs without breaking a sweat
It was very nimble and quick
Had more than enough power
Swamped it many times, I'd empty the air box, take spark plug off, crank it over to get water out and she's good to go
Near the end of ownership, the piston had a pin hole and it still ran like a top😂
I rebuilt it and then unfortunately I had to sell it cause I moved to the city.
Still got my '95 and i love it. Beat the shit out of it and always runs

PowerModz another tip is to put an old 350 fourtrax rear differential on it, the stock differentials do not like gear reductions and tires lol.

@@PowerModzOfficial hey man thinking bout getting rid of the brute that ive had ... its just been nothing but issues ... and trading it for one of these would i be able to ride me and my girl on one of these... i had a 250 fourtrax when i was 18 and it was a issue then with 2 people but add close to 200lbs between the 2 of us since then .....i just want something i dont have to worry about anymore
Try using a heat gun on the plastics, it will bring them back to new. It's magic
it did on our other bike but not this one - its too scratched.
PowerModz what if you sand it smooth then heat gun it?

Need to weigh it before the start..
Find a 350x head to toss on it for a little more powa
