A 2024 Black History Reflection, About and for Our Daughters

Black children girls and boys have endured the shackles of slavery mentally, physically, economically, educationally and socially as has their parents. We must never forget those moments in America’s History when acts more horrific than the everyday horrors moved us a bit forward at an unimaginable price to mothers and fathers with the loss of their children. As painful as they were we must not forget those events nor the names of those killed by not forgetting we keep them alive and appreciate their sacrifice in the struggle for our freedom.
