Overview of the current situation:
🌧 Weather: wet, cool and cloudy
🌾Crop: currently in stages around flowering
What impact does this have on grain quality? And how can the crop be encouraged now? ⤵
▶ Nitrogen only reaches the plant in a highly diluted way because of the heavy rainfall and low evaporation
▶ Due to the lack of sunshine, the plants also lack the energy to store carbohydrates in the grain.
For example, foliar fertilisation (7 to 10 days after flowering) in combination with sugar as an energy supplier can improve the quality a little (but then watch out for rust fungi and aphids, for example).
Fusarium infestation also plays a major role because of the moist conditions during flowering.
Action must be taken quickly as after the infection, there are only 2 to 3 days for the fungicide to take effect. Given the current situation and the trafficability of the fields, this has become or will become a real challenge.

Overview zur aktuellen Lage:

🌾Bestand: befindet sich aktuell in Stadien um die Blüte herum
Welche Auswirkungen hat das auf die Getreidequalitäten? Und wie kann man den Bestand jetzt fördern? ⤵
▶ Stickstoff kommt aufgrund des vielen Regens und geringer Verdunstung nur stark verdünnt in die Pflanze.
▶ Durch die wenige Sonne fehlt den Pflanzen auch Energie, um Kohlenhydrate in das Korn umzulagern.
↪ Mit z.B. einer Blattdüngung (7 bis 10 Tage nach der Blüte) in Kombi mit Zucker als Energielieferant kann die Qualität ein wenig erhöht werden (dann aber Achtung mit z.B. Rostpilzen und Blattläusen).
▶ Durch die feuchten Bedingungen zur Blüte spielt auch der Fusarium-Befall eine große Rolle.
↪ Hierbei muss schnell gehandelt werden: Nach der Infektion bleiben nur 2 bis 3 Tage in der das Fungizid wirkt - was bei der aktuellen Lage und Befahrbarkeit der Flächen zu einer echten Herausforderung geworden ist bzw. wird.
