All this agitating for land that was stolen is nonsense. Most of the current owners of that land paid for it and worked hard to make it profitable. So, would it be ok then to strip the land of all agricultural improvement, developments , etc and give it back bare as it was, when it was stolen? Would those who are agitating for it be happy to get it back bare, and labour and toil to get it where it is today? Love to hear some views on this.

The colonial government dispossessed it and sold it to its white citizens. In principle we all know that buying of stolen goods is a crime as well. So regardless of their hard work and improvements on that land, it remains stolen land that should be returned. They can be compensated for major fixed improvements otherwise give it back bare.

You are right- politicians should qualify as well. How does one lead what he does not understand? It goes back to one reasoning: Directors Generals were
never meant to be Politicians. DIRECTORS GENERAL ARE HEADS OF THE PROFESSION WITHIN DEPARTMENTS. MINISTERS FORM A CABINET
Ministers form a CABINET. THEY ARE HEADS OF POLITICS WITHIN DEPARTMENTS - that is why they have their political establishment. The DG briefs the Minister on the progress on Professional Work, period. If the Minister is failing in his work, that means the DG is a failure.
