I agree. You really don’t tell a 2 month old infant what to do. Usually babies don’t start responding or understanding simple commands till like 6 or 7 months and their first year of age.

It’s not a strength test but babies have reflexes. It’s called a grasp reflex. That’s why you see babies automatically hold you when you take their hands.

As a retired co founder of B.A.C.A. Bikers Against Child Abuse after 21 years and literally thousands of court cases of the horrors done to children, I can spot a liar nearly 💯% of the time. It's almost always family or someone known to the family. Very rarely is it a complete stranger comparatively. My sympathy only is ever for the children, never the parents. As a registered child advocate, I can confidently make these factual statements.

This entire episode was so sad from the grandma who had to ram her van into the school because the bullying to her kids wouldn’t stop to the daughter finding out the father was the monster ! I really hope this family got the baby back and found peace

Actually the "palmar reflex" is a newborn behaviour of automatically grasping at things in their hands, and this behaviour goes away by 6 months of age.

Is that weird? I mean honestly my son gripped my finger at 10 weeks old, I don't think it's possible to get a baby to do that but there were times if i held my sons hand when he was a baby he would wrap his hand around my finger tightly

OMG, my son was thrown by his father when he was 4 1/2 months old. He was at the hospital within half an hour, had full body x-rays, the police were involved from day one and that was 30 years ago! This makes me sick!

My heart broke when I first saw this episode and it breaks now! I really hope that she was able to get her daughter back home where she belongs and I sincerely hope she left him and got justice for her baby!
Many will say "oh maybe he was overwhelmed" blah blah blah... That maybe the case HOWEVER to continue to watch the mother of your child SUFFER without her baby for FOUR LONG YEARS and continue to not tell the truth... I've made mistakes with forgetting not to remind my siblings n nephew to put sunscreen or pushing them an inch too hard on the slip n slide ramp I made but they always understood I tried to balance fun n safety with them because I want them to have the memories

I knew he was lying and guilty when he said he told a 2 month old baby to squeeze his hand as a test. He did it.
I remember when my daughter was 2 months old. Every time I looked at her or even thought about her I just wanted to protect her from the world. I always wanted to hold her and every time she cried I helped her and couldnt just let her cry. I don’t understand how a person could look at any child and think about hurting them. How could you hurt a crying baby? It’s heart breaking. I would burn this world to the ground to protect my baby and keep her safe. I just can’t understand how a person could ever do this. Her own daddy hurt her. She never deserved that. My heart breaks for that little girl and I hope she heals and has no memory of the pain. Poor baby. Momma go hold your baby and do what you can to get her back. But please, take care of her. She needs her momma.

There are often times during birth when a baby gets "stuck" where the doctor does have to dislocate the baby's shoulder to get it out safely and it does sometimes involve the clavicle. It was neglectful that they didn't do at least one post-delivery x-ray especially since the nurse also heard the "popping" sound.

That happened to a friend of mine. Her son was almost 11 pounds and he got stuck. The OB did have to dislocate his clavicle but they did do X-rays on him afterwards at least.

How someone can hurt their own child let alone a 2 month old is beyond me. I cry if I accidentally clip my kids skin while trimming nails, bump into them or bump them into something on accident. And there’s people out here just hurting their kids. I opened the door the other day and my 3 year old smacked into it and immediately said “I’m ok mommy” and I was still about in tears feeling bad

I’m sorry as a person with an extraordinary baby, who has done major milestones early even I know that is completely impossible for you to do the strength test on a two month old then the way he explains it is so off you can definitely tell before he even speaks that he definitely did it
