I got that feeling when I bought it - just a little to crisp and clean and not as faded as the same ones in the Motown Museum - thanks for the feedback! Visit often 😎👍🏻🤘

The Motown company red sleeve was used in the early to mid 1960s (at the latest 1964, I believe). The rarer harder to get is the blue version used in the early 1960s (to maybe 1962). I do have a number of red sleeves and picked up a blue one when I purchased... "I Hear A Symphony" (ironic).
No, I don't believe the red (or blue) sleeve is the original for that Supremes' single (it was released in late 1965). It would have been more likely the dark-blue arc-striped (like grooves on half-of-a-record) print on the standard white sleeve with "Hitsville U.S.A." on it (another hard to find). It also listed the company's associated labels in white print inside dark-blue ovals (Tamla, V.I.P., Soul, Melody, Gordy, and Motown).
The "Hitsville" sleeve was used in the mid '60s until around 1967 when the label switched to pitching other Motown records from their music artists on them (similar in concept to the inner sleeves of the albums). Those would be printed in blue, green, black, brown, or orange type colors depending on the time period (from the late 1960s into the 1970s). That's my understanding of Motown's generic company sleeve history (up to that point).
In my experience, purchasing original Motown singles can be a hit or miss proposition with the correct original company sleeves associated with them (if they have them at all). Seven inch 45s in general usually get separated from their sleeves (for a number of reasons) through the years.

That is indeed a common Motown sleeve from the mid-60s. I hope to someday start posting videos about the history of sleeves and record label designs since I focused on them quite a bit ever since I was a child of the 60s.
