I bought the original game because of your playthrough. I was determined that I could give the children a happy life, but no matter what or how I played nothing helped. It was so hopeless. I cried so many times playing that game. It felt so real, the helplessness. I saved and saved and foraged and fished, and eventually made a ton of money, but the end was all the same no matter how many gifts I could give them. The message was so real, and I'm happy to see they made a sequel. I want a chance to actually give the kids the life I so desperately wanted to provide them.
😔 This is a mood. Tried so hard to be the loving parent but the kid kept getting his (or her) heart shattered to pieces repeatedly when he (or she) left the house. It's really tough.
Would it be wrong to use an infinite money cheat in this game? Like, you could give everything you wanted to Klaus/Karin, I don't think it would be wrong to spoil them a little...

I mean you could feed them more and give them toys, but unless you played through the whole base game initially before adding modifications, you lose the whole point of the game. I’d say after you played through the game how it’s intended, do whatever you please to get more out of the game.

Quick tip for when the full game comes out (and I rush to see you play it!) when it turn night time, you still have two circles to use up before it’s time for bed. You can feed, wash or cook something for the next day. You don’t have to go straight to sleep when it gets dark.

Don't worry about the paint, Morph. My mom had a wealth of those moments: going through the McDonald's drive thru, paying, and driving away without the food; shouting for me in a panic because she'd lost her glasses and couldn't see (they were on her head); trying to make guacamole with mayonnaise; putting a new tube of toothpaste in the freezer, etc.

Once I lost my Nintendo switch lite for three days My husband found it in the gerbil cage. I had avoided your playthrough of the first game because I KNEW it would destroy me - if it makes you ugly cry I know I will, too - but seeing this video release finally got me to watch it and I'm so devastated. I'm really hoping this sequel will be the healing that everyone greatly needs ;~; I'd love to see you play with Klaus when it releases, so we can continue his story and hopefully he can go on a journey of healing from his trauma. I just downloaded this game. I got the girl and ive already bought her the backpack she wanted for school and i wrote a letter to her i guess birth parent. Also i bought her a comb from the store as well. And i make sure i read her stories every night so i dont work overtime and come home late all the time.
I definitely would like a continuation of Klaus personally. After investing the time in your other playthrough. That seems to me, to be the best option. Excited for more. No matter what you choose to do, I will be watching. 💛

I have never commented before, but I must say, before even watching this video, the first game you played through made me subscribe to your channel. The game reminded me a lot about my grandmother's stories about her family's poverty in childhood. And since I am German and my grandma was born in 1942, it resonated with me a lot and I connected with the way how lovely you were to the child in-game. I already know, I will enjoy watching this sequel with your gameplay and thoughts throughout the story!

This sequel looks amazing BUT... is this reading to anyone else as the wrong time period? I'm not sure 1950'ties Norway would have had pizza and pancakes and dungarees for girls (although maybe?) and I don't think TV's would have been common place for lower class households until the middle to late 1960'ties. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, I'm just a bit confused and hoping someone else noticed 😅 Anyway, the first video I watched from Morph was My Child Lebensborn, and I absolutely loved it. I'm so excited for this sequel to come out, I can't wait to watch the full playthrough!
i thought the same, so i looked at the steam page. they say they're disconnecting it from the time period and having just a klaus and karin with the same traumatic experiences but not ones that specifically happened in 1950s norway. i guess it makes sense to want to set it a little further post-war to do a more complex life sim where you could realistically buy all those house upgrades and stuff. as well as to respectfully do a sequel that's about healing while still preserving the original intent of the first game's historically accurate vague ending. it's intentional on their part, but yeah, suddenly seeing a wall phone and a TV with VHS behind karin threw me too

The first part was my first video I watched of yours. I am about to ugly sob with you man, your voice is so comforting. Klaus, or Karin, would probably feel so safe with you oh my goodness. If you wanted children, you’d definitely be a good parent. Ugly sobbing at the fact I wish I could’ve had you as a father when I was younger… I’d love for you to pick Klaus when the game releases fully, it’d be more like picking back up his story! I had no idea that there was more to this game coming out and I was just thrilled at the idea of playing the first one with my bf for his first time and then show him your playthrough because it was so impactful for me. This sequel looks amazing BUT... is this reading to anyone else as the wrong time period? I'm not sure 1950'ties Norway would have had pizza and pancakes and dungarees for girls (although maybe?) and I don't think TV's would have been common place for lower class households until the middle to late 1960'ties. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, I'm just a bit confused and hoping someone else noticed 😅
Anyway, the first video I watched from Morph was My Child Lebensborn, and I absolutely loved it. I'm so excited for this sequel to come out, I can't wait to watch the full playthrough!

i thought the same, so i looked at the steam page. they say they're disconnecting it from the time period and having just a klaus and karin with the same traumatic experiences but not ones that specifically happened in 1950s norway.
i guess it makes sense to want to set it a little further post-war to do a more complex life sim where you could realistically buy all those house upgrades and stuff. as well as to respectfully do a sequel that's about healing while still preserving the original intent of the first game's historically accurate vague ending.
it's intentional on their part, but yeah, suddenly seeing a wall phone and a TV with VHS behind karin threw me too
@@sidoniegabrielle269I mean I think its a little weird, a massive part of the first game was that Klaus or Karin’s dad was German and the timeline kind of has to be readjusted to make it so people would be vicious towards that.
That was just what I thought.

And Karin is just the age when I had some trouble at home and at school too and I behaved similarly - pretended that all is fine at school while trying to be as invisible as possible. So many feels ❤️🩹 As for Karin or Klaus? Both!! Your kiddo deserves a comeback but I already relate to Karin too…
