- Well folks it all leads up to this! We drop the “indestructible” Toyota Hilux 500ft then 10,000ft from a helicopter. Will it still run and drive?? We’re just getting started 😬 #hilux

13:43 Even after all that, it's still in one piece. The truck was not broken into 2-3 large pieces of metal. Even when the helicopter lift it, nothing falls off, not even the motor or anything. What an amazing truck.

I recognized this was dropped just outside of Nephi utah. With the help of Google maps, I pinpointed the exact impact zone and when I went to visit family there we took a detour while out shooting and found the crator left from the impact s year later along with pieces of rim, dash, and taillights. Made for some awesome souvenirs! We had a blast watching the video and standing right where it all went down!

Man I feel sad for the truck... It had just been through so much on this journey, it had survived the impossible, but the impossible finally caught up....
The hilux did Toyota Fans proud. This one hurt to watch but excellent job capturing how tough the trucks are.

Severely impressed with the Toyota Hilux durability tests, this truck is a BEAST. Especially liked the test number 3 where it was ripping up and down those torture trails.... I know of several cities in Mexico where the Hilux would be the most in demand vehicle ever. 😁

While I saw one wheel broken around the hub, I also noticed at least one of the wheels was intact and fully bolted to hub still
Legend has it the oil pan is still not dented to this day.

The frame is impressive, all the outriggers were still in good shape even I've seen domestic trucks have structural cracks after road usage....

I own a 2000 Toyota Hilux here in the Philippines. Same color. Have had it for 15 years, AC still works, can't kill it. Made me kinda sad at the end. A testament to their toughness.

The fact that it stayed together after this and be able to be air lifted in one piece is enough to convince me that the build quality of Toyota is actually higher than military spec. It is absolutely marvelous. What a great product.
