I've never read a book so fast! ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx1_veP7CApJK_GWy_TczaMciuG64PqJeU Learning about his dogs and experiences was just the icing on the cake - bed this book through and through. We're working with our new pup and Brandon's advise was just what I needed. Wish he'd just come and train for me haha but it's good for us and happy to have this new set of tools to use on our pup.
Just dropped a very hot piece of hamburger on the floor in the process of cooking and my dog went to eat it. I told him to sit, stay, and watch me and he did. He waited until I was done transferring the rest of it into a new dish and then I picked up the piece and rinsed it in cold water and gave it to him. He was so patient and well behaved and totally avoided burning his mouth. This is the whole point of watching Zak George videos: our pups have really good behaviors in place in the moments where they're needed. Thanks Zak!
That's wonderful! I once dropped a chocolate cupcake right under my dog's nose and immediately said "leave it leave it leave it!" and he stopped dead. Thank goodness for these (sometimes) life-saving skills!
My puppy is doing so well too and I’ve gotten it all from Zak! People are surprised at how well behaved my baby is
The wonderful thing about fostering is that when you give your foster to their forever owners, you then reopen the space in your home to another foster, and you can help another dog. Yes, it’s a tough thing to do, but it’s a true act of love.
Big thumbs up to everyone who fosters. Your hearts must break every time you re-home even though you are happy your dog has found their forever home. Then you repeat the process, bless you. You are the good guys, the ones who show humanity at its best. Thank you all.🌟💞
It's amazing how fast these Pits learn. Loving this series. Great for people to see this breed in a different light
I loooooove that you include small mistakes in the final edit, like saying "yes" just a second too late, or accidentally rewarding when you shouldn't. It not only shows us that mistakes happen (even with pros) and it's not the end of the world, but also helps people see what to try to avoid. Love your channel so much!
I love the "no relation" in the beginning
*I promise to my old dog that I will reach 1000 subscribers before she leaves us, a small participation from you can really help me :')*
Zak is so wholesome
@@LloydSMITH Your already at 1k my dude and your dog cannot speak English so how exactly did they agree to this promise?
That always makes me smile!
Zak: The next episode is a must watch
Me: EVERY episode is a must watch zak!!
I'm with you, Eliana! Me: after episode 2...."There has to be a 3rd episode, there has to be a 3rd! Oh, good, found the 3rd episode."

Aaaw I love seeing George and Inertia play, especially since Inertia was so hesitant in the beginning and now she's the one who's really into it. I always enjoy getting a glimpse on how she's doing.
She's really grown into a beautiful dog!
Yes! I'd love an inertia update
Hey everyone! Hope you are enjoying episode three! Episode four is coming out at our normal time tomorrow at 12 PM Eastern time! Enjoy the two episode weekend!
loving video
2 episode poggg
I'm so excited for the next episode! I suffered the loss of my pitbull days before the pandemic hit California. I need another dog after I move. I'm in the process of moving right now. I need a couple of pitbulls. Given the chance I'd take this dog in a heartbeat.
I'm glad there's two this weekend. I've been waiting for this video 🥰
Thank you! I love your video's and myself and Sophi have learned so much. I did subscribe to your lifetime Pupford app. My next step is using up all the training treats that I have and then only using your Pupford treats.
Loving this series! George is learning so fast!
Some other dog training you tubers are hating on your approach, but thanks for showing us dog training on "hard mode" with minimal aversive methods.
Even if they disagree with the type of training, surely the more important issue is shining a light on all the dogs sitting in cages waiting to be put down. I have so much respect for Zak for doing this.
@@emmajayne9999 No one disagrees with positive training. They disagree with conmen. The dog is hardly one as you mention. He takes a docile dog and yanks on his leash to make it pull and fakes bad behaviour. "The single greatest transformation I have ever seen". Sensationalist titles, Sensational content. He is to dog training what the national enquirer is to the news media. Glad so many are catching on. It is time for him to let real and effective positive dog trainers have a voice. he makes their whole industry look bad. Freedom of speech.
@@dp5965 I couldn't disagree more. I don't think he is faking any bad behaviors. You can literally watch the dog notice something and lunge. How could Zak fake that. It's true that George is "docile" but I would not expect Zak to bring an aggressive, reactive dog into his home with his other dogs. He chose a strong, untrained pit bull that is not aggressive. The perfect candidate. I think when he did the Moira series, she was so reactive to dogs that he didn't have his own dogs around (or at least I didn't see them in the videos). Do you expect him to constantly have his own dogs somewhere else just so he can train reactive and aggressive dogs? Give him a break.
@@melissah3772 How much does he pay you? Zak george couldnt train a reactive aggressive dog if his life depended on it. It is all fake and sensational.
@@emmajayne9999 And, also, more important than naysayers, The Light shining in George now!!!!
1:27 this part reminds of when I bought Zak George's book and my dog almost immediately chewed the corner of it 😂
My puppy love hearing you say “yes” saying that a lot to her, thanks to you❣️it works.
You’re welcome 😊
@@lindsaybrigginshaw2830 Aww 🥰 how cute. Love watching dogs react to Videos or TV. It’s adorable and funny.
I love how George is so different from all the other dogs you've trained. Love him
That's so funny that George stole the training guide at the beginning... little rascal :-)
I like that you included the play session with inertia because it's helpful to see what healthy interaction between different dogs looks like. The training sessions are so organic which is also really helpful because it's much closer to what normal people would have to contend with. The environment in a training facility is much different and usually not replicable at home
“Do you identify as sit pretty or beg?” Lmao ha that made me laugh that was so cute lol George is giving me chills he’s so amazing!
I started to watch your serie with Moira and realized your channel was exactly what I was looking for without looking for it. You explain the positive reinforcement and show it practically so everyone can understand!! Love that you and Bree both are dog lovers and that she helps you film! Great work!! Now I just need to catch up on all your old material as well 😍
My goodness gracious me, George is so freaking gorgeous (George-ous?)! He's filling my heart up with every episode!!!
I totally agree that your Moira series was the best you've done yet - but I have a feeling you're going to keep topping your success! Having said that, your Kona series was the single most valuable thing I have found to help with getting a puppy for the first time. It literally introduced me to all the concepts of positive reinforcement training whilst also introducing puppy basics (both things I had no idea about being new to dog training at the level required to handle a puppy). And your Inertia series is unique and maybe the best and most valuable series because it spans such a large period of time and, most importantly, revisits key training at different stages of development... so I guess all your series are the best you've ever done??!!
The one thing I've found that might be missing are really tight playlists to encourage people to go back over your wonderful content. I know you have playlists already... but the Inertia series is so unique and valuable but that doesn't really shine through with your current playlist unless people are really passionate about learning and watch all of the videos.
Anyway, I just love you guys and what you're doing here both with educating dog owners and using your dog training powers to help rescues and give them a platform as well. Thanks so much for all you're doing! I can't wait to keep following along with George and what you do next. 💛💛💛🇦🇺
I really love George, he was a perfect choice for this series :)
Zak - I can't say how much I appreciate your videos, your techniques and advice, and your caring approach to training. I've stumbled onto some other youtube trainers recently who use the leash to physically correct (with a quick, snapping pull) the dog. I'm ashamed to say that I recently got frustrated on a walk and tried correcting my dog this way, and immediately regretted it after seeing the look of betrayal in her eyes.
We've had our dog about 6 months. She's a rescue, not quite two years old with a missing back leg from a car accident. She lived her early life as a street dog and has held on to her scavenger behavior, independence and stubbornness. She devours sticks on walks, especially when a little anxious and will eat all of the fruit and seeds that fall from trees. We are starting to see a glimmer of understanding during fetch, and she is so fortunately friendly with other dogs and can keep up with the fastest at the park.
I wish I could see you interact with her for just a day, so I could really understand my dog's motivations, desires, hangups, obstacles in order to break them down!
No dog is stubborn...just untrained. You sound like you have great intentions for your pup! Keep learning
OMG Inertia is such a little muffin when she plays chase! I like seeing them play
Zak loving the series. Looking forward to you doing a series on a dog with bad anxiety. My current dog has pretty bad anxiety and he's a piece of work.
can't you adopt George? he gets along pretty well with inertia.
He likes the comment..what’s y’all’s guess? I’m thinking he adopts George
That’s not how it works
He would never risk adopting a pit bull unfortunately
He looks so much like my dog. We were not given the right breads when we adopted her as a pup. She did not look pitbull then. But as she got older we could tell she was part pit, a type of bully breed for sure
@@vanthomas9556 tf do u mean by that
My dog pulls like crazy and I always worry that she'll hurt herself. We're working on training, and slowly but surely she's getting better! Love your videos!
You can do it!
Practice, patience and a training harness! With dogs that love to pull like maniacs I always use a training harness so I don't need to worry about the dog damaging it's trachea or any other part of its neck. Trach collapse is no good..
I'm beaming with pride for George while he is learning sit pretty. This boy melts my heart ❤
I love how every dog becomes well behaved after getting trained by ZAK😀😀😀😀😊
george is picking up so quickly! such a cute face paired with intelligence lol
You should keep George.
I think he may have already given him away, he probably recorded the whole series already and he’s just releasing the episodes every week
On his insta he said he found George a new forever home
@@esaydrifter808 oh ok I don’t have insta
Don't mind me crying at least once a video in this series because of how sweet and wonderful this good boy is 😭
Such a smart dog. such a great trainer and Bre a great videographer. HAPPY "FUR"~THERS DAY!
This series is incredible and very fun to watch
The scene in the intro where they're crying makes me cry!
bullys are the best breeds in the world
Omggggg, Inertia and George playing are sooooo cuuuteeeeeee!!!
I can’t wait to see how George progresses!! What a good boy ☺️
People - A Fair Warning ...Do Not Look into George's eye...you will fall in love...he is so adorable...I never thought I would fall in love with a pitbull-like dog but here I am...totally gone into the deep end 🥰
George needs to be yours. You two love each other 👍👍😎😎
This Is My Favorite Series So Far... I Really Loved Kona Though... Also, Kudos To Mrs. George ... She Does A Great Job Filming These. 👍👍👍
Loved this and love how you’re honest and show the trainer errors as well. Please keep George! 💗
Really enjoying this series! Because its exactly that. Reality! Its nice to see the transformation in the dog and the process behind it. Thats often not shown. My new rescue ( been with me about 9 months now) and comes from a nasty past unfortunately. Had never once been on a leash. Ive delt with strong dogs before but he was something else ! Ive never been yanked down sooo many times haha. But hes pretty darn good now which i never thought id get there lol! Still reactive in some situations but least my arm isnt getting yanked off. 1 baby step at a time! Thanks for helping this dog out! Hes so smart! And doing great!
So fun to watch the two dogs playing. They look so happy.
George is the show ! Sorry Zak , just kidding it's a pleasure watching how much you enjoy this as well. Thank you for sharing , we can all learn something from this.
Every episode is the must watch Zak
I've been watching a ton of your content and I'd have to say that these reality dog training vids are the best when it comes to letting other dog owners know what to expect when it comes to training their dogs. Much love
I adopted an intact pitbull with some very limited training. The leash pulling is next-level and the energy for play is endless!
Enjoying watching George learn and grow! He is such a great dog! He has the exact same issues as my dog that I rescued . I’ve let it go on for so long because it’s been so overwhelming. These videos give me hope. Redirection and lots of praise for what he does do when asked is obviously a good method. Thank you so much for the motivation and guidance.
I love when you take rescue dogs who have a low chance of being adopted and transforming them into happy pups! I'm inspired!
He is adorable. Can see why you bond with him.
I hope George's family keeps us posted with George, because damn, I am falling in love with this dog so much!!!
im in love with series
George is just the sweetest boy!
Thanks for that glimpse of daily life with a new dog, at the end of the video. It’s nice to know that the “growing pains” chaos is universal. Ha!
George is.awesome.Indi and Inertia are so cute with him. My crazy baby pit is loving this series.
Great video series. You need to keep George.
George would do amazing work in a pulling or fetch related sport
You are making me love George as much as you both love him..
Really excited for the next episode.
I really love the videos not just cause im learning so much but also for the small comedic jokes sprinkled in too 😂❤
Love your vids and your intro 😂 *I’m Zak George and this is George* *I’m starting to think I’ll never be able to let this dog go………LET GO GEORGE*
This series is extremely helpful for me. I have a 9 ish month old pit and I've been putting in so much work to learn how to teach her despite having no previous experience. She has been gradually learning concepts and she would learn much quicker if I knew better how to teach her.
George is a really clever dog
I’m just joining the Zak George Dog Training Party and I love it. I’m watching your videos so I can learn some things before getting my next dog. I loved Moira - and now George. BUT! My pet peeve -- people stopping in the MIDDLE OF THE TRAIL/PATH to do their thing, and making walkers/runners go around YOU. Move off the trail for teaching “sit pretty”!!!! Haha. Honestly tho, you are fantastic and I’m learning so much.
I love seeing you really work with these dogs. I hope you keep him
My dog is a crazy dog... Thank you for the tips.
I just LOVE this dog!
Currently rewatching a lot of your videos to best prepare myself since we're thinking about adopting a pup soon
I just love the way zack George works with George
My puppy Jorge gets a bit confused when you refer to your George in videos. You told George to come & mine came across the room to the computer hoping for a reward. lmao
What a good boy!
❤ I Just adopted a Heart worm Positive American Bull Terr, Mix. Now she is Heart worm Negative and Training her to be a ESA Dog and I might even go for a Service Dog I am on disability so witch should be no problem What im getting at ZaK, Is I been following you for over 11 years. I suffer Really bad Anxiety she has bought me sooo Much joy I cant even began to tell you all how much ❤
Really appreciate you explaining exactly how you are teaching George, e.g. sit pretty.. Its very helpful to have you explain and demonstrate how you teach each behavior Cuz what you're really doing is "training " us pet owners. 😉 Great job as always. Thanks Zak and Bree.
These videos give me hope with my nearly 8 month old puppy without needing to use a lot of force (traditional methods) especially when it gets difficult.
Can't believe how quickly George is picking things up. He's ace 👌
2 episodes a week yayay!
Love seeing Inertia and George playing and getting along. George seems like a fun, smart, goofy boy!
Absolutely love this series!
I'd really want more videos of inertia 😊😊😊😊✅
Was eagerly waiting for this episode!
I don't want to wait a week, I'm ready now!!!!!! Loving this Series so much!!!!!

Best series
So excited to watch the next episode!
The place where I live have no open grounds like this , only a few small parks ... Wish I were lucky enough to go on a free walk ....... hoping to see some city training soon 😄🙃
Great Job! 👍🏼
i really love watch George, smart doggo, hope u adopt him.
As always, great series. Soo looking forward for the episode of tomorrow. George have such a beautiful face, how to say no to those eyes. ❤️
Hi Zak again, Absolutely brilliant video George is incredible you can definitely see his potential for him to become an awesome pet for someone (you) keep up the awesome work and continue your amazing content also
When we were fostering a chihuahua puppy named Charlie, i cried so hard when he had to leave. I still miss him so much.
It is amazing what you do! Thank you so much for helping those of us who are trying to train our dogs…but more so for helping great dogs like Moira and George learn the skills they need to find great forever homes. You are changing so many lives!
"I need that to train you, what are you doing, George?!" - Priceless!
That sitting pretty is an awesome idea, I'm gonna start doing that one!
Found your channel whilst you were making the series about Moira. I don't know what it is, your positive energy, the production value, or just the cuteness of the dogs. This just became one of my favourite channels to watch! Showing the reality of training a dog, with all the mistakes and the lesser pretty side feels very validating when you work with a reactive dog yourself. I'm getting a lot of tips, too.
I do wonder if you'd ever be interested in joining the world of (AAC) button training your dogs! With your production value I think it could be a huge hit. My dog is a very slow learner, but it's so much fun to see him request for things or comment on something. You should look up "they can talk" for more information if you haven't already heard about button training!
