I worked for the Cadets that summer. We always seemed to go after Phantom, and seriously this was ALWAYS a treat to hear them before they ran onto the field.
My cousin marched Phantom every summer until he aged out. Got to see lots of shows while growing up. And the horn line is amazing in person. It gives you goose bumps listening to it in person
@brieshee Placement and scores do not matter. Drum Corps is about connecting with the audience and taking them on a journey and in the end scores do not matter :D
Beautiful and with so much class. Im in an almost five hundred member marching band and Im 14. I dont think I could get use to being in something smaller but for this Corp, I would consider it. I would love to be a member of Phantom Regiment because theyre just...Awesome.
@iiPowerHouse the 3 shows BD has won with in the last few years weren't aggressive at all... if anything they were "let's play it safe, be really clean, not entertain, but win" there's way more to drum corps than winning...
I don't have a clue about this..spermies? No, that wasn't me, but I'll be having a lil chat with my kid in the morning! Especially since I went out for P/R in '86
i love the out stretched arms, the beauty of it just spoke to me in a drum corps language ive never heard before, and sadly, may never hear again.

They look like angels sent from above to play amazing music xD

Such a unique way to start off a beautiful show.
This show. The most beautiful music ever in a DCI show. ❤️
The second they started playing, I got goosebumps up and down my arms....it's the middle of summer
I can't even imagine what must be going through their heads here, probably "Let's perform the best we can today."
loads and loads of respect for this group!
man they even have class before the fans can even see them, you guys are freaking amazing!!!!
they deserved SO much better than 6th. by far the most visually and musically beautiful show i have seen.
Goosebumps every time
I said it before and I'll say it again; in my next life, I am coming back to be in this show!!
@paintsplatt001 This opener and ending both brought tears to my eyes. This show spoke more than any other. This was beautiful.
yes , in a voice that could truly move mountains with its sheer beauty and softness, omg , here i go again, this is just so much to absorb
So much class they just win in musicality alone
Never Fails to give me chills :)

Probably the coolest entrance and exit I have ever seen.
I would give almost anything to be in front of this brass line during this video......wow
i sat right next to the tunnel that night, right above the cameraman behind the major. it was amazing
Thanks for posting this! A little peek behind the curtain for a look at the magic!
this is easily the best video on youtube.
nothing on the youtube can touch this priceless gem stone
@chrmedbabygirl now imagine that 100 times more loud in person. it is amazing to hear
@iTrumpet2014 I'm in a 25 member marching band. It sucks sometimes, but you deal with it.
This is fantastic -- like a bunch of spremies at the BIG Corps-Gasm!
hahaa at the picture in the beginning.. the bands all formal and look at the drummers haha drumline is always the wildest
what device, other than the ear, can pick up such amazing sound?
Brandon Erickson uh
a bad mic
@caryreed I think gigasaiyan4 was booing the the people that placed Phantom 6th. Not Phantom itself for placing 6th.

@mcflugger They may have gotten 6th, but they and crown still hold the fans' hearts

So did the soloist play the trumpet call in the beginning too? Sorry I didn't see this show live lol.
when i first saw this show i was expecting them to fall out of the sky with wings
@jayce2728 enjoying the moment!
2 people were blue devils fans who thought there wasn't enough mirrors
i agree
@iiPowerHouse.. Why do championship show have to be aggressive to win?
@Bramblebaugs What do you mean?
@tjw889 AMEN!!!
@iTrumpet2014
Wait...what.
what is the drumline doing at the hit? i'm confused. haha
