Bueno creo que no necesitas quedar en shock para saber reconocer la grandeza de un intérprete. Dimash nunca ha cantado un tema de otro artista imitando, hace suya la canción y la vuelve grandiosa épica. La amolda para darle su sello personal. Y eso no lo hace cualquiera. Solo lo magistral es siempre único. Y Dimash lo es y lo más importante (y aunque parezca imposible) su voz mejora cada vez más, el se desafía a si mismo siempre, por qué simplemente no tiene rival. At the end of the second verse, Dimash sings "I love you" in Mandarin ("Wo ai ni") to the Chinese audience, and again in the third verse, adding "Men (I) seni (you) suyemin (love)" in Kazakh, before whispering "Thank you very much" in Mandarin at the end. Dimash beautifully incorporates Middle Eastern (Armenian, Turkish, Arabic, Azerbaijanian, Kazakh) runs in the song.
If shock value was the essence of his career he wouldn't have such loyal fans. Dimash eats, sleeps, breathes music and he is a great performer able to convey emotions when singing. Dimash's repertoir got a wide span, multiple genres and styles, one style not necessarily better than the other, just different.
Dimash is not a one trick pony, his vocal toolbox is so well equipped that he got the privilige to sing a song excactly the way he thinks suits the song best. So my advice is to see beyond the shock value, it's just good music with an unusually skilled vocalist.
I see many Dears have suggested to check out "The Story of One Sky". It's not only a song where you really can hear how he uses his vocal toolbox to colour the song and to get through the emotions and message he wants to convey, it's also a song composed by Dimash (he pays attention to every little detail in the music) and he contributed to the movie script as well. That video and song will hopefully convince you that he is a true artist with something to say, not only a vocal acrobat with shock value.

Great reaction. Dimash's rendition of Lionel Richie’s "Hello" was a guest performance on "I am a Singer 2018"; he was not competing that year. At the end of the second verse, Dimash sang "I love you" in Mandarin ("Wo ai ni") to the Chinese audience, and again in the third verse, adding "I love you" in Kazakh, before whispering "Thank you" in Mandarin at the end.
Dimash beautifully incorporates Middle Eastern (Armenian, Turkish, Arabic, Azerbaijanian, Kazakh) runs in the song. His friend, Erlan Bekchurin, did the musical arrangement for this performance, as well as most of his other arrangements. The flute is called a sybyzgy, a traditional Kazakh flute, and precursor to the modern flutes. This is my favorite rendition of the song; even better than the original in my humble opinion.

And with Dimash….to me and many of his fans/Dears, even the same song over and over brings tears or other emotions into play like no other artist can.
So it is in the eyes and ears, heart and soul of the beholder as to what the long term response will be.
But Dimash is not just a performer that will run for a time and grow old or stale.
Mark my words…..he is fulfilling a very special destiny to restore what Hollywood has destroyed.

Dimash performed this in 2018 when he was invited back as a guest for the finale of the chinese show The Singer. He sang two "I love you"`s of the song in chinese - "Wǒ ài nǐ" (and one in kazakh at the end - "men seni süyemin") - as a salute to his fans - since The Singer 2017 in which he competed, he got millions of chinese fans, very supportive and loyal fans. And at the end he thanked the audience in chinese ("Fēicháng gǎnxiè" = 'thank you so much')

As this was performed for The Singer 2018 as a guest, you should hear the marked improvement of Dimash's voice every year as he matures. He was 24 at that time. He is now 28 and the sheer improvement of the quality of his voice every year is scary. You have barely scratched the surface of his works. Every song is so different it's not possible to pigeonhole him into any box. All of his original songs are works of art but I agree, so far, Requiem: The Story of One Sky is his current masterpiece of music film score, vocal prowess, acting skills, and overall creativity. Very meaningful message that puts you through the emotional wringer.
Every composer who has written for Dimash calls him a genius. Many wprld class composers are waiting in line to be considered by him. Hans Zimmer has just recently contacted Dimash so am guessing there will be a collaboration for an upcoming film. It will be exciting to see what his next project will be.
Dimash keeps getting better only by raising his own bar. His musical and intelligence IQs are off the charts and immeasurable. He surpasses himself. Just enjoy the journey and praise the Lord you were blessed to be on this planet when Dimash was loaned to us from God’s angel choir. ❤️

I agree with other commenters that the most amazing Dimash video is The Story of One Sky, so count me in for that one the tally. Other than that, great reaction like always and I'll just comment that in that same contest where Dimash was singing, there are some amazing singers too. I would specially recommend for you the incredible Hua Chenyu (he's the man in a black T-shirt at 8:17 in this video). His cover of 'Fake Monk' is one the the most incredible feats of music artistry I've ever listened to and I can say for sure that it would not disappoint you if you decide to give it a try. It's the weirdest and most haunting song you'll ever encounter in UA-cam and I know that your channel is all about this kind of unexpected and 'out of the common trail' songs (and that's why I subscribed long ago). Keep going strong, gentlemen!

His band is excellent and you rarely hear mistakes. In Dubai they brought in a violinist and there was a little hiccup between him and the pianist. I guess since they weren't familiar with each other. They got a look from the boss 😆. He's a very kind man but I don't think he tolerates many mistakes because he's a perfectionist.

Thank you for reacting to Dimash, my favorite artist! He’s indeed any composer’s dream such as Igor Krutoy or Zaia Piergiuseppe.
I love how he makes such a classic 80’s song like Hello his own, by incorporating the Kazakh traditional flute and oriental melismas. I think it’s a brilliant idea to have done so, giving the song a new breath, and also bridging the East and the West at the same time.
Here’s my question for you guys: whenever you listen to your favorite artists, are you also looking for any shock value of some sort, precisely because you already know their singing styles; or you simply want to enjoy and appreciate to the fullest their voice and music? My point is: why should it be different with Dimash?
Now that you know how incredible he is, just let yourself go and simply enjoy his wonderful voice. His intent is not to shock us anyways, but use his vocal abilities to tell us a story like in “Stranger”, his original song composed by Igor Krutoy. I don’t recall if you have already reacted to it but if not, you’re in for a wonderful musical journey!
Thus, listening to Stranger is in and of itself a musical journey where we’re accompanying Dimash through this “stranger’s land” with each and every vocal technique and singing style which denotes a different culture and path in life. Again, Dimash does not use his vocal abilities to show off, but to serve the song: through his voice, he’s telling us a story; like in his latest masterpiece that he composed himself, “The Story of One Sky” (we are divided into different countries, races and faiths, but we all share the same sky: this song is a cry for peace and unity).
I’m not listening to Dimash in search of any shock value: being a Dear, I’m rather quite familiar with his singing styles - yes, styles, plural!
I certainly do not take his talent and incredible gift for granted. Bear in mind, precisely, that he’s a rare musical prodigy. Thus, being able to truly appreciate his artistry and magnificent voice is both a privilege, and a musical experience; if we allow ourselves to delve into his world. Let’s face it, Dimash is rare gem in the music industry and not being able to appreciate him is like wasting a precious drop of water in the desert.

It is a work of 3 years and was just released September 24, extremely powerful message, I would love to see you both share it on your channel. Please take care of yourselves , I know that you had previously mentioned moving your location, but it sounds like it’s been a difficult time, I truly hope that whatever has been the ongoing situation is resolved ❤

In the original it is a lyrical song. And Dimash's is a song about passion, he's begging for love. And the finale is a declaration of love and waiting for the verdict. Will his love be accepted? Will his prayer be heard? Thanks for the response, guys. Remember that Dish doesn't have songs without drama, there's always a development of the character he's singing on behalf of. At the beginning of the song, the character is shy to talk about his feelings, but at some point he decides to open up, and at the end he's already screaming about love

You have not seen his last job, The Story of One Sky. It’s a 13+ minutes musical video. It took DiMASH 3 years to write this composition. He also instructed the lyricist to write his words in English and he wrote the script for this musical masterpiece. Forgot to say that he is also the main actor. Nice reaction. I didn't know enough about voices to realize how amazing Dimash's singing ability is, so I wasn't blown away, but I really like his music and the emotion he brings to each performance and the fact that usually he has a good message to bring through his songs. There are MANY of his songs that you haven't seen yet if your channel is accurately showing the ones you have done. Try some of his Kazakh ones. I will suggest "Qairan Elim" MV and "Samaltau" and "Omir Oter" from his Digital Show. They aren't so much vocal wizardry but he really puts his heart into his Kazakh songs. Another great one to watch is "Ikanaide" from the Tokyo Jazz Festival. Oh, and "Know" is a very cool song also. I think so far most of us would say that Dimash's masterpiece is his most recent video "The Story of One Sky", but I would say to watch some of the ones above first, just so you get to enjoy them before seeing this most recent one. Thanks for reacting to this performance, he was singing as a guest and the crowd adore him as do many of us around the world. Personally I never tire of listening to Dimash sing, it never gets boring as he can and does sing so many different genres. If you want shocking please react to the composition he has just released, The Story of One Sky. It has taken him 3 years to compose the music, write the storyboard and record the music and film. Approximately 300 people have worked on the filming and recording of this and it is a masterpiece, from one so young, at 28 years old, this blows my mind ❤🙏

“The Story of One Sky”, please. Live or Oscar/Emmy music video. Pope and Iman approved and possibly the best of the best of Dimash! This will impress! It’s on a different level. This was done in 2017. We’re now in 2022, and in my opinion, I can’t imagine what he could possibly do at this point in time to top this and I suspect that he will eventually.
