I used the hydroxitone 30 sec wrinkle remover with similar great results. Sometimes I don't rub it in enough so the residue is obvious, but it still looks better than my loose wrinkles. Without it, I look like a shar-pei (idk how to spell the name of the super wrinkly pups, but that's who I look like).✌️

I have a tube of this stuff... It does work & very fast, you can literally feel the skin tightening up. However, it does leave a residue which can flake like mad if you use too much or doesn't work at all if you put anything on top such as lotions, concealer, & foundation. It only firms the skin of your eye bags, but it does not cover up or lighten dark circles. I am 56 & my eye bags are about as droopy as this lady in the demo. I apply just a tiny dab & spread it out thinly with a small eye shadow brush (gentle pats, not brush strokes) so I don't get the layer of flakes when it dries. A little goes a long way but keep in mind this is just a temporary fix. Once you take it off, the eye bags return. I typically only use it when I am going out on special occasions (dinners, parties, etc.).
I appreciate you sharing this. My mom's been curious about trying Plexaderm or the like and I was gonna get some for her. She wouldn't be thrilled if this was her experience with it.

the product is from a brand called Peter Thomas Roth and its called "Instant Firm Eye". my mom has it. shes 48 and has bags, not as severe but they make her very self conscious. it works great for her!

This is because we understand that growing old and becoming less attractive is a simple fact, and dont rely on our appearance throughout our youth to gain social advantage, like most (not all) conventionally attractive women do. Its all well and good to spread this that and the other on your face or spend thousands on surgery, but at the end of the day the sooner you stop caring the sooner you can move on and stop stressing about such a minor problem. Fact is, people tend to pay attention to young women if they are pretty, and people tend to pay attention to older women if they cultivate a personality and an air of wisdom and knowledge. Serenity to know what you cant change, courage to change what you can, wisdom to know the difference. And you cant change ageing.

Weirdly I am 50 and I have never used a drop of moisturizer or sunscreen or anything on my face and my face is really good as well, no wrinkles or age spots yet. I suppose my absolute disdain for the sun and the fact that I've never smoked and eaten a whole foods diet my whole adult life has helped. I suppose genetics play a role too, but my mother looked much older than her age when she died at 68 from smoking. Also, I suppose this woman just might have had a really hard life.

Now I’m 40’and wrinkles just get worse. I started getting em around 34. I just started Botox for my crows feet two years ago. It’s expensive but it works! Plus use all that other stuff on the market. Too many to name lol and my dermatologist perscibes a retinol for my acne and can be used for wrinkles. So my insurance covers it thankfully. It also has helped a lot with old acne scars and uneven skin tone. It’s a long process and doesn’t fix overnight but with time, 6-12 months, I have definitely noticed a difference. Also have skin sensitivity and can’t use it in the winters around my eyes. Drys it out too much, doesn’t matter on the moisturizer. Anywho, it serves a purpose for more then one is ur

I have a great tip for making dark circles so much better. I use Enchanted Eye Cream by Lush. It is the only thing that I have ever tried that helps with my dark circles. I don't know if it also works on bags because I only have dark circles.
Since it stops working if you put foundation or concealer over this product, what I do is use Bare Minerals powder foundation or any powder foundation over it and it works perfectly!!! You're welcome!😁

@@adrianmarti3888 Yes. You really have to practice to eliminate the ghosting. A damp Q Tip can blot off some of the excess. My issue is you can't wear concealer or foundation over it.

I’m 58 yrs old today… There’s some things in life that are completely out of our control. At 45 I had no wrinkles or gray hair. As soon as I went on hormone replacement that’s when my skin started to wrinkle, thinning skin, my pores started to enlarge & I was losing hair like crazy. I’m 58 now and I barely have any gray hair, however I’m on HRT dealing with high HSBG which causes DHT problems. I do use a special shampoo to keep my hair in my head but I wish there was something to keep my skin tight. I don’t smoke, drink alcohol or do drugs! I’m an avid bike rider! People are always focused on what they see… I think that it’s best to focus on what our eyes don’t see & that’s the condition of the heart & not the condition of the skin!
Dude you gotta look at your own face every day and nobody wants to see a giant pair of luggage hanging under their eyes. All those other things are already looked after by doctors, but not the skin!

I’ve been using “ instantly ageless “ for a number of years I won’t go out with out it . This stuff doesn’t leave a residue on skin . I have tried “ plexiderm” and it gave me a bad rash 🌻🌻🌻
Also hemorrhoid gel works great for puffy eyes. I just recommend using a separate tube for your eyes and butt 😂 It's a tip I learned years ago doing some print modeling.
@@miaombak655 Agreed. I actually learned this trick by watching the movie Miss Congeniality back in the early 2000s. Results are temporary, obviously. My guess is the chemicals in hemorrhoid cream are made to tighten the skin on them in order to pull them back into place and thus get rid of them, so the same principle applies to the wrinkles under the eyes.

My son bought some for me last year over my objections. And I have to say that this stuff works. Yes, it's temporary. But when you and the family go out to dinner, it makes you feel good. I don't use it every day - far from it. I equate it to using Chanel No 5 or wearing a nice outfit when going out or using the special dishes for holiday dinner. It didn't shine or peel off; I only use facial powder over it. The nay-sayers should try it for themselves before passing down judgement.
Okay....I can't afford stuff like that but I did get my hands on some samples of a face wash and I LOVE it. Smells like fresh peach too. I really wanna try this for myself!

When I worked at sephora, I recommended this stuff often. The only drawback is the white cast that it can leave if you use too much. One memorable moment a woman came in and had a funeral to attend where she'd be seeing people she had not seen in a long time. She wanted to feel beautiful and youthful again for this occasion, and she did! It was special to see her after that and know this stuff helped her so much!
@@michellemooresings only temporarily. Think of it as a liquid invisible tape that pulls the skin taught for the day. I personally don't believe that it would work for smile lines. If you are willing to wait for the results, tretinoin/retinol is great for lines. There's a lot of info on Dr Drays youtube channel that is simple & informative :)
I worked at Sephora from 2000-2010 and I had this same situation with an older woman in her late 60’s who was going to go to her upcoming class reunion. She had these exact eye bags and I had the idea to use PTR’s Firm X on only one eye, telling her I had no idea if it would work. I did explain that it would be a temporary result, but would work for a night out. She had the exact same results as this woman did and we were both truly amazed! It really does work for someone with this type of eye bags.
I worked in cosmetics for a long time. And I am very familiar with PTR. They make and eye and face cream and both are insanely amazing. They’re a temporary fix and do nothing to help in the long run but for events or even day to day this stuff is outstanding.
How true! And if you are not careful and put too much on it leaves a residue and you have to work on thinning it out. There used to be a product called Fix It or something like that. It worked easier and better, but they had some problems with an ingredient in it and it came off the market.

Thankfully I’ve got genetics on my side and I don’t go out in the sun. Going out in the sun does so much damage it’s not even funny. I will take temporary results. This woman definitely looks like she's experienced something that caused her to age faster--maybe a job that was outdoors, underlying health conditions, etc.
I use it. The trick is to use it on clean skin, tap it in and DO NOT use too much! Keep it only on the soft undereye area. You cannot put anything over it either...so if you have very dark circles it isn't great. I can dab a powder foundation over.
As a retired nurse, she needs her liver checked for problems. A big cause of developing under eye issues. It’s like when you start losing your outer eyebrows it is indicative of thyroid issues

Weirdly I am 50 and I have never used a drop of moisturizer or sunscreen or anything on my face and my face is really good as well, no wrinkles or age spots yet. I suppose my absolute disdain for the sun and the fact that I've never smoked and eaten a whole foods diet my whole adult life has helped. I suppose genetics play a role too, but my mother looked much older than her age when she died at 68 from smoking. Also, I suppose this woman just might have had a really hard life.

But that’s awesome I wish I did. But I also smoke and I used to bathe in baby oil in the sun when I was a teenage. Now I’m 40’and wrinkles just get worse. I started getting em around 34. I just started Botox for my crows feet two years ago. It’s expensive but it works! Plus use all that other stuff on the market. Too many to name lol and my dermatologist perscibes a retinol for my acne and can be used for wrinkles. So my insurance covers it thankfully. It also has helped a lot with old acne scars and uneven skin tone. It’s a long process and doesn’t fix overnight but with time, 6-12 months, I have definitely noticed a difference. Also have skin sensitivity and can’t use it in the winters around my eyes. Drys it out too much, doesn’t matter on the moisturizer. Anywho, it serves a purpose for more then one is ur

I have a great tip for making dark circles so much better. I use Enchanted Eye Cream by Lush. It is the only thing that I have ever tried that helps with my dark circles. I don't know if it also works on bags because I only have dark circles.

Vitamin E used to be said to reduce dark circles. I'd look into that. Natural sources include olives.
Since it stops working if you put foundation or concealer over this product, what I do is use Bare Minerals powder foundation or any powder foundation over it and it works perfectly!!! You're welcome!😁

I’m 58 yrs old today…
There’s some things in life that are completely out of our control. At 45 I had no wrinkles or gray hair. As soon as I went on hormone replacement that’s when my skin started to wrinkle, thinning skin, my pores started to enlarge & I was losing hair like crazy. I’m 58 now and I barely have any gray hair, however I’m on HRT dealing with high HSBG which causes DHT problems. I do use a special shampoo to keep my hair in my head but I wish there was something to keep my skin tight.
I don’t smoke, drink alcohol or do drugs!
I’m an avid bike rider!

I’ve also heard that these sort of products seriously dry our your skin. I don’t want dry under eye skin. I have enough problems.
Also hemorrhoid gel works great for puffy eyes. I just recommend using a separate tube for your eyes and butt 😂 It's a tip I learned years ago doing some print modeling.

@@miaombak655 Agreed. I actually learned this trick by watching the movie Miss Congeniality back in the early 2000s. Results are temporary, obviously. My guess is the chemicals in hemorrhoid cream are made to tighten the skin on them in order to pull them back into place and thus get rid of them, so the same principle applies to the wrinkles under the eyes.

My son bought some for me last year over my objections. And I have to say that this stuff works. Yes, it's temporary. But when you and the family go out to dinner, it makes you feel good. I don't use it every day - far from it. I equate it to using Chanel No 5 or wearing a nice outfit when going out or using the special dishes for holiday dinner. It didn't shine or peel off; I only use facial powder over it.
The nay-sayers should try it for themselves before passing down judgement.

When I worked at sephora, I recommended this stuff often. The only drawback is the white cast that it can leave if you use too much. One memorable moment a woman came in and had a funeral to attend where she'd be seeing people she had not seen in a long time. She wanted to feel beautiful and youthful again for this occasion, and she did! It was special to see her after that and know this stuff helped her so much!

@@michellemooresings only temporarily. Think of it as a liquid invisible tape that pulls the skin taught for the day. I personally don't believe that it would work for smile lines. If you are willing to wait for the results, tretinoin/retinol is great for lines. There's a lot of info on Dr Drays youtube channel that is simple & informative :)

I worked at Sephora from 2000-2010 and I had this same situation with an older woman in her late 60’s who was going to go to her upcoming class reunion. She had these exact eye bags and I had the idea to use PTR’s Firm X on only one eye, telling her I had no idea if it would work. I did explain that it would be a temporary result, but would work for a night out. She had the exact same results as this woman did and we were both truly amazed! It really does work for someone with this type of eye bags.

I worked in cosmetics for a long time. And I am very familiar with PTR. They make and eye and face cream and both are insanely amazing. They’re a temporary fix and do nothing to help in the long run but for events or even day to day this stuff is outstanding.

How true! And if you are not careful and put too much on it leaves a residue and you have to work on thinning it out. There used to be a product called Fix It or something like that. It worked easier and better, but they had some problems with an ingredient in it and it came off the market.

It was a lot of fun wearing it to my high school reunion. My ex-boyfriend said why is everybody here ages but you. I tried not to laugh out loud. Thankfully I’ve got genetics on my side and I don’t go out in the sun. Going out in the sun does so much damage it’s not even funny. I will take temporary results. I use it. The trick is to use it on clean skin, tap it in and DO NOT use too much! Keep it only on the soft undereye area. You cannot put anything over it either...so if you have very dark circles it isn't great. I can dab a powder foundation over.
