Malone doesn’t need auto tune.Obviously it was an artistic decision to use it.He’s a great guitarist, vocalist. I would guess there is so much more He is able to do that hasn’t been revealed. Much respect from an older generation.

Many of the modern signers now are fantastic but no one can perform perfectly in tune all the time, not even the greats of the past, and things like auto tune are used are used to fixbthose minor issues. However, what most people think of as auto tune (Think T-pain) is an exaggerated use of the software and is meant to be an effect to make it sound more robotic. Also, it is important to remember that even before auto tune there were all sorts of tricks used to correct mistakes so even the favorites of the past "cheated"

At first I thought it wasn't all him but then watched the video where he sings country songs, which is freaking awesome, but it was there, its all real and all him, sure it might get enhanced by autotune at times but damn, he rocks it. Its acctually a very subtle auto tune and that not what your hearing. Youre hearing the exessive amount of vibrato and temolo he puts into his vocal technique. Thats the way he sings. The wobbly notes at the end of every line.

I think the mixers fucked up how much they gave him.
He has a certain style and likes using auto tune to create fun effects on his voice, like T-pain.
