I feel like your intake manifold runner flaps are starting to wear off, or a dirty throttle body, both allow gradual airflow into the car during cold start, lastly a burned or clogged up catalyst, which is rare. do you have any or can check for codes

These b8s are old enough where when I usually have a problem I can pin point the issue with a simple 5 minute google search but this time it’s complicated. I’m going to keep driving it to a minimum and drive my other car for now. I hope it’s not serious enough to cause long term damage from my commute if I decide to drive it to work.

It may be the coolant valve pump plug sometimes, they go out over time, the plug could be dirty, and need to be replaced or clean, if you’re having over heating issues then it may be the pump, some models had a 60,000 miles warranty

My 2013 Audi A6 holds the last selection and goes to presets on start. Any ideas? Also, how do I reboot the MIB 1? Thanks.

In my b8.5 allroad I don't have a 'setup' button.
Substitute the menu button instead and it should work (worked for me).
