I make paper bricks with sawdust and they last a good hour with great heat. Lots of ponies where I am so will give this a go and compare the two. Great video though, thanks 😊
In the Middle Ages this was common practice they would just dry it by the fire and I believe it’s still used in some Middle Eastern countries might try it myself
I can just see the advert slogans for this: "Take back control of your heating bills, with Bricksh*ts! Light up those sunny uplands of your home fire, and benefit today from the Bricksh*t bonus!!" 😂😂😂
By adding a bit of water in a bucket to it they seem to hold better together. I have been doing this for a few years now even tho i have lots of sea coal washed up not to far from me in northuberland
@@stephenharris7982 it was done for a laugh during heating crisis and just to see… the burning results were interesting ! It’s in another video. Light as a feather, burned for ages. Would benefit from being supplementary and burned with a log. However, too much ash, too much work and not worth the agro as a self manufactured fuel. Was a wet year. Making and drying these most of the summer and old have been awful. Can you also imagine the mess if they get wet ? But yes.. really needs broken down to slurry and then water pressed out. Happy to let you do it :-) For those with time on their hands - it’s good recycling of waste ! Truthfully though ?
@@naturalheatinghellfirepizza ..That sounds great ! Perfect synchronity....My grill should arriving soon ...I've also ordered a large cast iron jacket potato baker and an enamel flat bottom kettle. Want to take full advantage of having our wood burner on and being able to cook on it / in it too !

Well ...I'd be really interested to know how you got on with that ...and whether you were able to use it for fuel . 🙂🙂
Funny enough, I've been videoing part 2 of this tonight. It'll be uploaded in the next day or two

Hi! Can you tell me the brand of your press bricks?
Where could I get the brick press? This is just the jobbie!
Just google paper logmaker.
Vroom Vroom slap
as gross as this is, if they are properly dry, they will probably burn fine, in some places its common practice
I’m just making money out of this
How may you share
I’d rather freeze
Good luck with that.
