I'd have to review the tape, count how many 1/8th pizza slices (25 1/8th sq inches each) Paddy & company ate, calculate total consumed. And do the same with the other two teams eating 1/16th sized rectangular slices. (Not sure of the slice dimensions). I think there were 4 rows of 4 colums of slices. If true, each slice is 33 square inches.
With these hypothetical measurements, 1 Paddy's pie (201+ square inches) == 6 whole rectangular slices (198 sq in) + another bite (3+ sq inches).
Is it really that serious? Shall we alert the local elders?
Best pizza topping, after 40 years of Saturday night scientific research I can conclude it is(drum roll pleaes) pepperoni, green peppers and black olives(spice, salty and sweet)
Back in the 90s, I was invited to represent our newspaper fin an eating contest for the grand opening of an Italian restaurant called the Garlic Press… but, every dish was heavily garlic themed. The most memorable items were the pizzas loaded with whole garlic cloves and the garlic flavored spumoni (ice cream). Oddly enough, the garlic ice cream wasn’t that bad. I came in second place, but I beat out the mayor, at least. I got a giant oversized “garlic is life” t-shirt.
Would this have been in Gilmore, California? Home of the Garlic Festival…
@@samiam619 Eugene, Oregon, actually.
@@samiam619 The garlic festival is in Gilroy, not Gilmore.
"It's a window of a pizza" 🤣🤣🤣
Very proud of Paddy & Shannon for stepping up on this one! I give props to CallyAnn & Seamus for at least trying! Have to say...a bit disappointed Ciara didn't even try on this one!
one of the nicest things you have done for them.
kinda a small pizza though... used to get pizza about that size.
The people that didn't even eat 4 pieces between them should be in the next bug eating video to make them appreciate the gift they got.
"Make them appreciate", huh? You gonna force gratitude, quite literally, down their throats? The "gift", at that point, is no gift at all.
@@tvtitlechampion3238 Did I ask you? Nobody cares what you think but you, I hate to tell you. Make your own comment that nobody will read and move on. Thanks!
@@Justintime2grow go eat a bug, Mr.(?) Sensitive.
@@tvtitlechampion3238 Are you lonely or something? You have to have someone in your life that would be worth talking to rather than me I would hope.
DURIAN COMES TO MIND
There used to be a place in Perth Western Australia called Munchies Pizza. They used to do a 33ish inch round pizza called the Mega Munchies. We used to play cards on the box with room to move. It was that big. Best card table ever...
Paddy rolling up that pizza to encourage Shannon and telling her to scarf it down… That was funny
As an American I can honestly say, challenge accepted.
I literally just got done eating a homemade from scratch medium sized 12" pizza. Man when those tiny cokes came out I just lost it, lol.
My kind of girl is the kind that doesn't mind having a little "commitment sauce" on her face.
As a St. Lucian, I feel am overwhelmed to see my island represented here. Never would have imagined this possible. Thank you
Finally we have found Ciara's kryptonite! It's gigantic pizza. It has only take four and a half years to locate her weakness (even after the Durian sessions), let me congratulate you. Well done!
Wish I was there !!!!!! And when there's pizza involved, there's no losers ! 💚☘️🍀🇨🇮🧡
Call Ciara on that Babybell challenge! I eat them all the time and I don’t believe she’ll do as many as she thinks
"why aren't we drunk for this?" .... A woman after my own heart. HAHA Paddy....You're the man.
I am so proud of Paddy.
A real man never turns down an eating challenge.
the amount of crust not eaten in this video is a crime! haha
Ciara not being able to eat even 1 slice of pizza but literally drink EVERYONE under the table is so funny to me lmao
She is one of the very few who tolerates ( even mildly likes) durian but pizza isnt her cup of tea.
Finally, I know I’m not the only one who has the “Irishness” with meals. I’ll always hear my mum telling me about “the starving children in Africa.” I have to finish everything. Just have to. Thanks, Ciara. 👍
Jay and Ciara could not be any different as a pair 😂
Aww Jamie love ... That giggle makes my day lol
Dermot and Donal would have eaten the whole thing!
Try'rs y'all rock! Love the channel and content! Patty and Shannon got off easy compared to the square ones! Peace
3:57 Ciara isn't competitive?....
I love you guys!! I’m so sorry for this challenge!
20 minutes for a 33" pizza? Heck, most places who do this kinda challenge give their challengers an hour for something like this
You're a fan of Conan, judging by your name?
Yes.....yes I am
First result on "pizza challenge 33 inch" is an Ireland pizza (round not square, so less volume), a one person, 45 minute challenge. A few results down, a three person team 30 inch challenge where you get an hour. For this, making it a true "food challenge", I would offer different team sizes different times: 1 person two hours, 2 people 90 minutes, 3-4 people 60 minutes.
Go find the tiny Clisare sized 'Katinka eats kilos' and you will be shocked how much she can eat in half the time these guys did, together. And its not even that wiring to watch as she aint to messy.
True!
Up next week," Ireland's Biggest Bowl of Tarantulas!" Give Jamie and Ciara a chance to redeem themselves, they deserve it.
I agree
Totally reminds me of my third year teaching when we took our kids to a pizza place that was an all you can eat buffet and two of the kids wanted to challenge me to an eating contest. One wised up and tapped out when I hit 16 slices but the other TRYed to match me and he ended up vomiting in the bathroom. Fun times! I would have thought Jamie would be better since there is that old saying about eating like you have a hollow leg.
Now that’s the way to win your students’ respect-lol.
@@emilywilhite5807 that was in 06/07 I believe and I still keep in touch with both of them to this day.
Hahahaha the battle between humans and pizza and I like the fact it was an orchestral-epic-heroic soundtrack playing it the background😭
I'd love to see em try german specialties like Königsberger Klopse, Maultaschen (german ravioli, pasta squares), Spätzle, Rouladen (roulades) and Sauerbraten
Owww... I 'd go for a nice bit of roulade right now.
Ciara: "It would be easier for me to drink difficult shots than to eat this..."
Sean: "Funny you should say that. Shot #1 for failing this is..."
:)
Beard can probably take this down in 12 minutes. Beard vs 6 Tryers would definitely be a video I'd watch.
I just had potato chips for dinner, and it's 11:35 pm. I am so hungry after watching you that I think I might go into the kitchen and get a PBJ and a glass of milk.
