    @WhiskeyBent420 When you see them, plan to hang around after. Rev, Breezy and Aaron are great, friendly folks, and I've never known the Rev to not want to talk guitar with other players. They're bringing this style of Blues to a generation that has never heard it before. Enjoy!

    Is this a new song by them? I heard it live a few weekends ago, but it's not been on a cd. I really like it.

    @bigdamnfan I just checked, and the planned date for the next record is May 25th.

    @WhiskeyBent420 Not sure.
    I just checked the full video I have of Rev teaching at a school, and (at the time) the wood bodied National was open D, the metal National was open G and the Gibson was standard tuning.
    I think he sticks with those three tunings - or at least I've never seen him spend any time re-tuning for a song in any of the dozens of times I've seen the Big Damn Band.
    He carries those three and one backup flat-top and has no guitar roadie.

    You have to see them live. They play more than 250 dates a year.
    About the Rev's tone - no pedals, no effects, no nothing. His three guitars go through a selector footswitch, then to an amp. Actually, two amps - one Fender guitar amp (behind the Rev) ,and one bass amp (behind Breezy).
    All the rest is produced by technique. I've heard him sitting around in a living room just playing acoustically, and get the same sound.

    @Amras0407 They have a new CD already recorded that will be available (hopefully) in time for their Warped Tour dates.
    Check my videos - I have a couple of songs that were new.
