The people whose interests are being serviced are the same interests which broke industrial Britain starting in the mid-sixties and finalized over the next two decades are now in control of the country. Look further if you can, or if you care.

Me too. I feel it's at least our moral duty to pay attention and raise our voices, but most are going about their daily lives as normal. It's grotesque.
I don't understand it. Every single second of my days and nights, even dreams, are Palestine and the holocaust in Gaza. Every sound, every smell, every sky, every person 24/7. I can't imagine how not to be like this? Are we really surrounded by such impenetrable masses deeply entrenched in apathy, or are they all dissociating? I can't even imagine being able to look others in the eyes for the years to come knowing they were unable to be engulfed by this wave of humanity.
Loved the show George. You may be out of Parliament buy you are not OUT OF POWER as you continue to reach out to millions of people around the world in search of the truth and nothing but the truth regarding the Ukraine and Gaza conflicts.

Galloway's bravery is indeed worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize. However, his stance on Cyprus as a British sovereign land is debatable. The UK maintains control over specific areas in Cyprus, referred to as the British Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia. These territories, which are strategically significant, are recognized as British Overseas Territories by the UK but not by Cyprus or Greece.
The British granted independence to Iraq, yet they maintained control over the oil and Iraq's resources. The British want to turn Cyprus into another Iraq.
Like the United States aims to involve Australia in a conflict similar to Ukraine's situation, as part of its strategic approach toward China.
Some of the world's worst people are the British & Turkish governments but I want to assure you that Cyprus will never be British or Turkish.
It is considered a significant privilege that Russia is perceived as defending Europe and Cyprus from aggression by the US-NATO, the UK, and Turkey.
Regarding Cyprus and Greece: Is it appropriate to discuss the post-conflict situation while the conflict continues with a significant death toll and ongoing violence, akin to putting the cart before the horse?
Australia is still paying the consequences of the British Empire. And Australia is a British settler Colonial reality and should be treated as such. The British are taking the resources of the Indigenous people in Australia and Cyprus Greece. If you want to end the conflict, the British should help the Greeks against the Turks or go.

I think educated British people understand this and so generally end up on the left leaning side of politics, unfortunately you have a huge chunk of very uneducated nationalistic people that have never been well informed and they tend to be the type that vote reform. The rest are just voting for whatever is in their best interests, so if they are wealthy they will vote conservative. That is why nothing ever changes with Britain.
I tell my mum often, if Britain had not been obsessed with conquering, colonising and invading countries for resources or geo strategic purposes Britain wouldn't be facing immigration issues. People tend to want to stay in their homelands and only leave when their lives are in danger or the country's economy is in ruins.

I have just been reading a children's book about the Irish " famine". Two
pages and my eyes are blurred by tears. We, thinking people, know that the Irish famine was exactly as is the famine in Gaza, a manufactured murder whitewashed by power as is Gaza.
To think that such an awful occurrence could be manufactured and enlarged upon by our politicians indicates to me that such evil in the breasts of men lies potentially there throughout the generations.
