My grandfather was an ironworker/welder and his retirement day was building the last floor on the second tower. I was proud of my grandpa. He was a tough , straight guy. As honest as the day is long.
My gramps was an iron worker in Indiana. Every single bridge we drove over in the top half of the state he would tell me he built this bridge. Missing a couple fingertips too but don’t know the story on that. Lol I was very proud of you Grampa Carter.
@@tonyarichards5430 I can relate. My grandpa built a lot of bridges in NY. The Verrazano comes to mind. I think he was most proud of that one
