I really wish GW took the chance to use the Psychic Awakening event to expand and flesh out the Telepathica and imperial Psykana. For an empire literally running on Psykers and depending on them in all forms of governance we have next to no books about them or their relevance to their importance shown. Like the differences between Eldar Psykers and chaos sorcery is so stark and then there’s imperial Psykers who’re kinda just there and unless you’re an inquisitor good luck getting a name or a heavens forbid a model. Witchbringer was an amazing novel I highly recommend
As a random Guardsman, that has to deal with aliens, demons, titan attacks and obrital bombardment, it would be really fear inducing to see a dude of your size unleash the same kind of destruction with his thoughts, even if he's on your side. Psychers have Power. And Power creates fear in those that do not have the means to optain it.

When dad call you back to explain, you go through an emo phase and do everything but explain and go through a self delete phase. When EMPS was like ok I forgive you but you really got to get rid of your soldiers that are starting to mutate like squidward, he blasted off like a kid going through their first period. Also nipple horns.
17: loved the point of imagining different perspectives. But imagine if humanity did not have psychic powers to hate and revile, they would turn that in on themselves. They would find some way to segregate and divide themselves to release their hatred and fears.
10: is not just ingrained, the psykers literally feel bad to be around. they give a sense of unease to anyone not a psyker. they are a gate to the warp after all. Arch made a great video explaining all that in his channel. totally worth a watch.
Nikea in no way created the hatred and fear towards Psykers. The 5000 years of the Old Night did that.

Yeah I agree. Look at the boys. That shows more likely what would happen. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Pyskers remind me of the Xmen, it all fun and games till Mercer gains reality warping powers and deletes half the squad.
